Lataif Aur Un Ke Maqasid

Younus AlGohar answers a viewer’s question about the spiritual subtleties in the human body.

Main points:

– There are seven spiritual subtleties in the human body. Five are located in the breast and there is also one in the head – all these spirits are related to the higher realms. The soul in the head, Ana, has the potential to witness the divine splendour.

– You cannot see God with your physical eyes, but the Ana can see God. The Ana is revived with the Dhikr of ‘Ya Hu’. There are three veils upon the Ana. The final veil ruptures only when, with the help of the spiritual guide, the Ana makes a combined spiritual journey with the soul to see God.

– When the Ana is face-to-face with God, another veil is put upon it: the Rabbani Veil. This happens when the image of God comes upon the Ana; in that moment the seeker doesn’t recognise anyone else besides God. He doesn’t even recognise himself. People who got stuck at this stage were the ones who said, ‘Ana al Haq (I am God).’

– When the Ana sees God, the image of him dominates the Ana. From there, God’s image enters the eyes. From the eyes it comes upon the spiritual heart (Qalb). This is a lengthy procedure. Until this procedure is complete, the seeker remains under the influence of Rabbani Veil. When the image of God is settled in the spiritual heart, then the seeker is no longer under the effects of the Rabbani Veil.

– There is another subtlety located at the naval point: the Nafs (Carnal Self). It is a satanic Jinn. To purify the Nafs, saints had to go through austerity and struggle.

To learn more about the different spiritual subtleties and their functions, read The Religion of God (Divine Love) by HDE Gohar Shahi.

Why did GOHAR SHAHI Come to this World?
6th December 2016|ArticlesLecturesVideos

Why did GOHAR SHAHI Come to this World?

Why is it so that His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi came into this world – a world created by God – and had to go through the entire human journey? Why did His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi bother to come into this world? HDE Gohar Shahi is the Grand God (Rab al Arbab): the creator of all and lord of all.

The decision that HDE Gohar Shahi made, that of coming into this world which was created by God, is the necessity. Necessity to quench the spiritual thirst of countless souls, especially the outcry of souls which remained thirsty even after they attained high class spiritual status.

They found God and they were in very proximate audience with God, as much as it was divinely possible. However, all that spiritual attainment did not suffice their spiritual thirst. They were still yearning for an extra divine, rapturous love and rapturous relation with a true deity. Those who loved God and found the way to be in his proximate audience did acquire some sort of love and nearness to God, however they were not given to know God fully.

Most things about God have always been obscure. Many things about his character and demeanour haven’t been given to discover. Exploration of God’s character and profound knowledge of the being of God became the topmost priority of those who found God. They wanted to know more about God, but there have always been restrictions.

When you love somebody, you want to know everything about them, but that is not the case with God. There is not much that you will be given to know about God. Not much is on offer by God about him.

On contrary to what he practically does, God has been recorded to have said that he created the creation so that he should be known. He loved to be known, however nobody knows him.

For millions of years, messengers and prophets who came into this world tried teaching humanity how to become obedient and submissive to God, and how to be a dedicated worshipper to God. However, they did not say anything about the character of God, love of God, the shape of God, the face of God, his demeanour or his emotional bubble. As far as my intelligence works, I understand they didn’t say much about this because they themselves don’t know much about it. [For example], when I know something, I don’t make a secret out of it. Even if I want to, my tongue and my lips become disobedient even to myself; I can’t hide it.

Proclamation of love of God is very easy. However, to obtain God’s love has always been a mystery. Whoever found God’s love, he found it through mysticism.

There is love of God and at the same time, there is rapturous love of God (an extreme form of God’s love).

It is a pity that more often than it should be, God’s love has always been considered to be attached with obedience and worship to God.

When I say, ‘Being disobedient to God,’ it simply means that you do everything which, in a religion, you are not allowed to do. When you do things you are not allowed to do, you become a sinner. So in a way, if you continue to sin – meaning that you are disobedient to God, you don’t worship God and you do not follow any religion – and still you claim to love God, nobody will [believe you].

Love is real, however, love has been hidden under thick layers of newly fabricated Islamic/Quranic mythology.  [People say], ‘Look at him. He doesn’t even go to the mosque. He is a sinner and he claims to love God, come on.’ This is their attitude. If you ask an Islamic scholar of today, ‘Moulana, tell me how do you love God?’ he will have no answer.

I did not know what is love. The only battlefield which has been given to [men] upon which they can practise love is a woman. Before [people started openly loving members of the same sex] men used to love women and women used to love men. At one point in time, about 15-20 years ago, I used to think that love is a taboo thing. In my house and family, we couldn’t even say the word love. This was because, in Pakistani society where Islamic Sharia was strictly, mysteriously followed, you would only talk about worship, recitation of the Quran, growing a beard and fasting in the holy month of Ramadan. When a beautiful girl passed by, you were supposed to lower your gaze – and we did that. Every time a beautiful woman would pass by, we would force ourselves to at least lower our eyes, but still the heart would think about her. As long as I lived in Pakistan, I was not able to grasp the meaning of God’s love.

The first time we heard about God’s love was from HDE Gohar Shahi.

In the late 1990’s, HDE Gohar Shahi was visiting Bangladesh. His Divine Eminence stayed at somebody’s house; that person was a very strict Muslim who asked HDE Gohar Shahi, ‘We never heard of God’s love. [We have been told to] go to a mosque, offer prayers five times a day, serve your parents; through the Halal way, earn your bread and butter for your children – and that’s it. Worship should be enough. What is love?’

His Divine Eminence said to him, ‘Alright. [Imagine that] your wife cooks food for you every day, washes your clothes every day, takes care of you day and night and raises your children. She does everything, but if she said to you that she loved somebody else, would you be happy for the services she provided you with?’

He said, ‘No.’

HDE Gohar Shahi said, ‘You want to worship God. The moment God finds out that you love somebody else, that worship will be thrown at your face by God. This is how important it is to love God.’

It is true. If your wife does everything but she doesn’t love you, that is the end of the story. She washed your clothes, cooked food for you, raised your children and did every service to comfort you and please you; but the moment you heard she didn’t love you, every type of service went down the drain. Similarly, you can be doing anything to please God but the moment God finds out you love someone else, no worship will be acceptable in the eyes of God. This is how important it is for you to love God.

The irony is that we have heard about God’s love, but nobody tells us how to love God.

Although Jesus talked about God’s love, no messenger or prophet taught human beings the procedure through which one can truly love God.

Muslims believe that Prophet Mohammad is the leader of all prophets and that he is the best prophet. So what Prophet Mohammad said is the bottom line [for them]. Knowing God couldn’t be easier than what Prophet Mohammad told people. According to the Quran, about God’s love, there is no procedure given to human beings with the help of which they can attain God’s love. However, if you wanted to love God, all you need to do as prescribed by the Quran is to follow and spiritually imitate the Prophet Mohammad.

‘Tell them, “If they want to love God, follow me, imitate me.” In return, I will love them.’ – Quran 3:31

Imitate here has a spiritual connotation. Imitate doesn’t mean mimicry; it means to spiritually follow, do as he says and do as he asks you to do. Do not as he does.

All you have in the Quran is that you follow Prophet Mohammad and in return, God will love you. However, that is one-way traffic. How many people successfully followed Prophet Mohammad and imitated him spiritually? If somebody did, even then they do not have the procedure to love God. As a result of the fact that you follow Prophet Mohammad, in return, God will love you. But still you don’t love God; God will love you.

So no religion tells us the secretive procedure that will allow you to be able to love God. God had sent 124 000 different prophets and messengers already. Prophet Mohammad was the last of all the prophets and messengers. So God has tried his best but even after the last prophet, Prophet Mohammad, humanity is still struggling and they do not know how to love God.

There was a sense of necessity for the Grand God to enter into this world and tell humanity the procedure which will set you free from requiring to follow any prophet or messenger.

If the procedure of love was to be attained by a messenger or prophet, then it would have been [obtained] from Prophet Mohammad who was the last prophet. However, even Prophet Mohammad did not render the procedure of attaining love. Now, all the prophets have been sent. Even the grandeur of all prophethood and messengerhood, Prophet Mohammad, is back in the pavilion. When the last and best of all prophets did not give us the procedure to attain God’s love, who else do you think will give us the procedure of love?

Now was time for either God to come upon Earth and teach humanity the methodology of loving God. Or if he doesn’t want to come, then somebody who is even more passionate about human beings obtaining God’s love should come.

Maybe God didn’t care, but HDE Gohar Shahi has shown us that he cares.

He didn’t care for what people will think of him to be, but he cared for us. He is here and now we know what the procedure is of obtaining God’s love.

The place of love is your heart and your heart is ruled by a dedicated soul. You need to awaken that dedicated soul; the moment it is awakened, your heart will begin to have the spiritual faculty which will bring you closer to God. That spiritual faculty will connect you with God and will make your heart a true recipient of God’s light and theophanies. This is how you will obtain God’s love.

This was a necessity. It didn’t happen even after all the messengers and prophets have been sent. God doesn’t want to come, but God had already announced that in the end, the Religion of God will be established. Prophet Mohammad had already left 1400 years ago. The Religion of God had still not been established; God doesn’t want to come so who else will come and establish love?

What HDE Gohar Shahi is doing was not possible for any messenger or prophet. This is why it never happened. It is now happening because HDE Gohar Shahi is here.

A Special Message for the Holidays

A Special Message for the Holidays

The festive season is once again upon us! It is that time of the year when the streets and homes are lit up. During this time, Christmas and Hanukkah are celebrated by Christians and Jews respectively.

It is unfortunate that the holidays have become a highly commercialised affair. The spiritual significance of these occasions has been practically forgotten in the modern era. They have become events where the main attractions are the delicious food and the exchange of gifts.

Hanukkah celebrates the triumphant restoration of the Second Temple as a Jewish sacred worship place. Christmas is a celebration of the advent of Lord Jesus Christ in this world.

You partake in festivities but the true inner happiness of these events will manifest in you once you are spiritually connected with the Lord.

So this year, think about your relationship with the Lord. Using the method offered by Messiah Foundation International, you can light up your heart with divine energy, just as you light up your homes during the holiday season!

Make every day a celebration with the Goharian Philosophy of Divine Love.

Asal Hafiz-e-Quran Kon?

Asal Hafiz-e-Quran Kon?

Younus AlGohar speaks to a viewer, who claimed to be a Hafiz-e-Quran (one who knows the Quran by heart). He explains what is required for one to be a true Hafiz-e-Quran.

Main points:

– A true Hafiz is one who has the Quran in his heart. Hafiz means, ‘One who safeguards.’ A Hafiz is not one who just memorises the Quran.

– Quran says, ‘Do not follow those whose hearts I have kept heedless of my Dhikr (Remembrance).’ People who claim to be Hafiz-e-Quran can be found amongst Shias, Wahhabis and Barelvis. A true Hafiz has Noor (Divine Energy) in his heart. If such people from amongst Wahhabis are actually Hafiz-e-Quran, why do they blaspheme the Prophet Mohammad?

– A true Hafiz is one on whose heart is written Ism-e-Dhaat Allah (The Personal Name of God). This is the beginning. A complete Hafiz is one whose heart falls under the divine theophanies. When this happens, then they will see the Quran in their heart.

– Ism-e-Dhaat Allah is Dhaati Noor (Divine Energy of God’s Person), whereas the Quran is Sifati Noor (Divine Energy of God’s Attributes). It is from Ism-e-Dhaat that chapters of the Quran came.

– The Quran was revealed onto Prophet Mohammad’s heart. When it is in your heart, that is when you will be called a Hafiz-e-Quran. If Quran is in your heart, then why do you forget verses? People who claim to be Hafiz often revise the Quran to refresh their memory. If the Quran is safe in your heart, you won’t need to revise it.

Kiya Insanon Ki Aksariyat Jahanum Ke Liye?
3rd December 2016|LecturesVideos

Kiya Insanon Ki Aksariyat Jahanum Ke Liye?

Younus AlGohar answers a question asked by a viewer, who wanted to know why so many people seem to live meaningless lives.

Main points:

– It is written in the Quran that God made a majority of human beings and Jinns for hellfire. Therefore when the majority of people come in this world, they do things that will take them closer to their destiny.

– For the people God made for hell, he said that they have hearts but they do not understand and that they have eyes but they cannot see. He said they have ears but they cannot hear. God said they are those who are more misguided than animals. They are the Ghafileen (Heedless Ones). This is in reference to the fact that their spiritual heart and other subtleties are not enlightened or awakened. They are those in whose spiritual subtleties Noor (divine energy) does not enter.

– If the world declares someone to be a Momin (true believer), but God didn’t make him a Momin, then that person cannot be a Momin. It has already been decided by God who is a Momin and who is hell-bound. This doesn’t change.

– It is not possible that God made someone for a purpose, and they die without fulfilling that purpose. That purpose may not be something you consider to be valid, but God has a long list of purposes he can designate human beings for.

Kiya Aaj Ka Musalman Momin Nahen?
3rd December 2016|LecturesVideos

Kiya Aaj Ka Musalman Momin Nahen?

Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer, who was wondering how one can ensure their Salat (a form of prayer in Islam) is accepted by God.

Main points:

– The most important thing to ensure your Salat is accepted by God is the presence and enlightenment of the spiritual heart. No matter what style you read Salat in, if your heart is not present in it, then God won’t accept it.  The problem with Muslims today is that neither their eyes nor their hearts are purified.

– There was a time when Muslims were the most powerful in the world. Quran said, ‘You will be dominant in the world as long as you are Momin (a true believer).’ Muslims today rely on their scholars to tell them what the Quran means, but they should take personal responsibility. They should read the Quran for themselves, and understand it without depending on Islamic scholars. Look at what the Quran says and look at the state of Muslims today. The condition for Muslims to be dominant in the world is that they be Momin. Today they’re in the current state because they are no longer Momin.

– In Prophet Mohammad’s era, he defeated 1000 enemies with a force of 313 people; they were able to do this because they were Momin. In this era, there is no brotherhood amongst Muslim countries. The Muslim of today has nothing to do with Islam and God. It is just like how a husband and wife are once they are divorced. They left God and God left them.

– The foremost thing to do as a Muslim is to become a Momin. Momin is one in whose heart the Kalima (Declaration of Faith) can be heard. To become a Momin, God’s name enters your spiritual heart. Your heart becomes engaged in remembrance of God. Noor (divine energy) is produced from this practice and then that Noor spreads throughout your body; it makes your body obedient to it. Then you will become obedient to God and become a Momin. If you are not a Momin, you have Satan in you.

Poetry for Jashan-e-Riaz (Lord Ra Riaz Day)

Poetry for Jashan-e-Riaz (Lord Ra Riaz Day)

On the 25th of November, admirers of Younus AlGohar’s spiritual guide, Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi, celebrated Jashan-e-Riaz (Lord Ra Riaz Day), which marks the day the world was first blessed with Lord Ra Riaz’s presence.

In honour of this auspicious occasion, the following poem was written by a member of Mehdi Foundation International.

Jashan-e-Riaz: The Day of Riaz

It is the most auspicious day of the year
A day we celebrate and revere

When the Lord revealed His comely face
And made this world a magical place

He came in the guise of the Awaited One
Recognise His image on the Moon and Sun!

He granted us His glorious name
Making all hearts love the same

Ra Riaz – the most powerful name of all
For every human, big or small

The religion of love was introduced
Divine light was in the hearts produced

The Day of Riaz, always remember
Comes on the 25th of November

Jashan-e-Riaz is a time to reflect
It is our heart we must not neglect

Though the decorations are a pretty sight
They’re of no use if your heart is not bright

Light up your heart with the name of the Lord
And make your heart the Lord’s abode

Your heart will then shine brighter than a star
A star the Lord can see from afar

Then every day will be a celebration
As you become a member of the Lord’s nation!

Has the Creator of this World Always Existed?
30th November 2016|Articles

Has the Creator of this World Always Existed?

Has the Creator of this World Always Existed?

Note: the following is Younus AlGohar’s reply to a question from a viewer. It is answered with the understanding that the Person of God is separate from his status of being the creator of the universe. It is assumed that the reader already knows that God originates from the Unseen World. The reader should also be aware of the fact that in the Unseen World, the concept of time does not exist.

‘Has God, the Creator of this world, always existed?’ – Imran Mati

The moment this universe was created is the beginning of never-ending time. The beauty is, when we talk about eternity, it only refers to the future. Eternity doesn’t talk about the beginning.

God said, ‘I was in the hidden treasure and I loved to be known, therefore I created the universe and the entire system.’ The moment he came out from the hidden treasure is when ‘the beginning’ starts. Before he came out from it, there was no time.

We say that God is there since the beginning and he [will be] for an indefinite period of time. There is no time limit as to how long he will continue to be there.

When God was in the hidden treasure and he had no idea if, in the future, he would want to create a system and creatures – at that moment, he was not a creator because he had not created anything.

God became a creator the moment he created. According to the level of intellect that we have been bestowed upon by God, God didn’t qualify to have the status or title of a creator when he hadn’t created anything.

This particular issue that he hasn’t always been a creator elaborates the fact that there is a beginning. A duration is established and it is not infinity. He hasn’t been a creator for an indefinite period of time. Before that point of beginning, he wasn’t a creator.

The origin of God is pretty foreign to this universe. This is exactly what has been labeled as eternity. Nobody knows that he came from somewhere else. Before the creation of this universe, he existed.

The Occultation Day 27th Nov

The Occultation Day 27th Nov

The Occultation Day 27th Nov

15 years ago on 27th November 2001, Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi adopted occultation in accordance with the Divine Plan.

It wasn’t easy for the disciples to come to terms with this painful event. Most of them were not spiritually groomed enough to sense the implications of the occultation.

Those who had developed a firm belief in the Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi and loved the Lord were potentially easy to be groomed into devout disciples.

When according to the Holy Quran, Jesus Christ was ascended by God towards Him, people who were at the scene were not given to witness the ascension of Jesus; rather they saw a look-alike of Jesus on the cross. They assumed it was Jesus who died on the cross.

A look-alike of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi was found in the room after the Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi adopted occultation. A majority of the followers failed to comprehend this divine phenomenon. As a result of this, the look-alike body was buried and a shrine was erected.

Only if the disciples truly believed in the Lord and His advice, they would have sailed through the test. The Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi had indicated on various occasions that He would adopt occultation at one point in time but advised the disciples not to jump to wrong conclusions. The Lord promised that He would break occultation and return soon to lead humanity to an unprecedented glory and spiritual triumph over evil.

In order to boost self-esteem of disciples and strengthen their faith, secrets of the Unseen World were presented and translated into belief. The secrets and origin of God were revealed and shared with common folks.

Messiah/Mehdi Foundation was formed to promulgate the miraculous doctrine of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi. Thousands of people were attracted to the teachings of the Lord. Many of these people embraced these secrets and became practitioners of divine love. Many of them still remain to be steadfast and some of them failed to grow in belief and trust.

Today we will discuss the aftermath of occultation. Please tune into AlRa TV’s YouTube Live at 22:00 BST on the 27th of November, 2016.

New Video: Imam Mehdi Qataal Nahen Karen Gay! - Qur’an Se Sabit!

Younus AlGohar categorically proves in light of the Quran that Imam Mehdi will not cause bloodshed of any kind.

Main points:

- Generally, Muslims believe that Imam Mehdi would impose Islam upon the world, Jews believe the Messiah will impose Judaism and Christians believe Christianity will be imposed. It is God who sent the concept of an Awaited One who would come in the end times into different religions; if the perceptions Muslims, Christians and Jews respectively have are correct, then wouldn’t there be a great conflict in the end times? The idea that Imam Mehdi would spread islam is incorrect, especially when Prophet Mohammad predicted the extinction of Islam.

- It is said that the greatest era of Islam was that of Prophet Mohammad. Yet in that time, Islam was not dominant upon the entire world, but only in the Arabian peninsula. To forcibly convert anyone to Islam is against the teachings of Prophet Mohammad and the Quran. The Quran declares that there is no compulsion in the religion (Quran 2:25).

- IMPORTANT: When God was in the process of creating Adam Safi Allah (Adam the Eminent One), the angels objected, suspecting that he too would engage in mischief and bloodshed as the human beings before him had. They said to God, ‘are we not enough to glorify you and sing your praise?’ God’s argument was that this time he was going to give Adam the Knowledge of Eminence. Quran [2:30]

- The idea that Imam Mehdi would impose Islam upon the entire world through the power of a sword is an extremely misguided notion! On one hand, Muslims acknowledge that Imam Mehdi would have unprecedented Knowledge of Eminence; on the other hand they say he would cause bloodshed. God does not like bloodshed. The Knowledge of Eminence nullifies the tendency towards mischief and bloodshed from a common man's nature. When Imam Mehdi has Knowledge of Eminence like no other, how could he have anything to do with bloodshed?
