Why Pakistan Fears His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi

Why Pakistan Fears His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi

Why Pakistan Fears His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi

Do not ever believe in what you hear on the grapevine.

Disinformation spreads faster than information.

According to the Koran, the purpose of the human species is that they become God-conscious. Religions provide people with spiritual mediumship and pave the way for seekers to find a way to God. When religions were corrupted, the knowledge of spirituality — which was the backbone in every religion — became nullified. It vanished from the religions due to which people were left distant from God.

Today, we are in an era where nobody thinks of reaching God. In fact, nobody even thinks of God. They are lost somewhere in the ritualistic mirage of religions. It is a sad story.

His Divine Eminence Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi has shown Himself to the world the most bountiful, merciful and ultra-beneficial to humankind. HDE Gohar Shahi has struggled enormously well to elevate intellectuality and spirituality among claimants of different religions. HDE Gohar Shahi provided food for thought to the people who seemingly struggle to find God.

Spirituality was once the backbone of every religion without a name. Today, HDE Gohar Shahi has signified the significance of spirituality in our lives.

Muslims have, somehow or other, developed their understanding to be more sceptical than those who appreciate the spiritual truth. The element of extremism has always existed in Islam since the very beginning. It is such a pity that the early caliphs of Islam became victims of Islamist extremism. Ali, the cousin of Prophet Mohammad, was murdered by an Islamist extremist. Umar bin Khattab was murdered by Islamist militants. Usman bin Afaan was also killed by Partisans of Ali (Shiite).

People who believe in the same religion — whether they believed in that religion 1400 years ago or today — their level of intellectuality has decreased rather than increasing. They’re quite sentimental. People do not like to be guided correctly. They have this tendency of going with the flow. If you are a sheep in the herd and you see that all the sheep are going in one direction, you do the same.

HDE Gohar Shahi is the only universal spiritual teacher who has shown to the world more courage, gallantry and bravery than it was required of His Divine Eminence.

HDE Gohar Shahi went to every single faction among the sectarian elements in Pakistan, and — right in their faces — he told them, ‘What you practise is not Islam.’

He further said, ‘This is Islam. When you practise this, you will not like to call yourself a Sunni, Shiite or Wahhabi. The true Islam will connect you with God and his messenger. You will take pride in being a true disciple of Prophet Mohammad.’

People who never wanted to know Islam and who wanted to use Islam as a fake guard on their bodies at the same time — vehemently, they disapproved of this realistic version of Islam which consists of spirituality.

You cannot reach your reality without spirituality because your reality is your spirit. The first thing that you need to do is become self-conscious. You need to know who you are. If you say that you are a Wahhabi, Sunni or a Shiite, this is not you. Your reality lies in the awakening of your soul.

People with low cognitive calibre were unable to understand and comprehend the ultramodern spiritual sciences presented by His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi. HDE Gohar Shahi did not present any spiritual channelling because He Himself is the ultimate spiritual channel.

A spiritual guide is a spiritual conductor. Conduction of divine light is the principal cause of him being a spiritual conductor.

This is a strange phenomenon by which His Divine Eminence conducts spirituality and divine light — and HDE Gohar Shahi Himself is the destiny of all souls and spirits.

It will take one to know God before he is able to know His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi. Those who do not understand God should not attempt to know who HDE Gohar Shahi is.

Sectarian elements in Pakistan for the last 35–40 years have been trying their best to suppress HDE Gohar Shahi’s teachings, to halt HDE Gohar Shahi and hinder in His mission. They have done their best on an individual level on a governmental level. However:

The truth of HDE Gohar Shahi is like a spring. The more you suppress it, the more it goes up.

This alone is one of the greatest miracles. You cannot quieten the voice of the truth. You cannot quieten the sound of Ya Gohar.

This is especially true when people have experiences in which their religiosity and spirituality were restored in the fuller meaning of the phrase. They found their ultimate goal in form of HDE Gohar Shahi’s blessings.

So on the one hand, people have experiences whereby they will return to eternal life, their hearts were enlightened and they were free from different physical and spiritual ailments.

On the other hand, there is speculation all over the world among Muslims that HDE Gohar Shahi and His teachings are not in accordance with the Koran.

Well, so what? The teachings of Jesus Christ are not in accordance with Koran. Do such people dare call him a cheat? The teachings of Moses are not in accordance with the Koran either. The Koran is not the ultimate source. The Bible, Koran and Torah all came from the Guarded Tablet.

The creator of this universe, God, is the ultimate source of knowledge. Even after the revelation of the Koran, he can bless anybody with more knowledge than in the Koran — this is called Ilm-e-Ladunni.

This is the type of knowledge which is neither part of the Koran, Bible, Torah, Talmud or Psalms of David; yet it is as truthful as all these celestial books because it comes from God.

Ilm-e-Ladunni is the knowledge that comes directly from God.

It is more powerful than the revelations [in the celestial books] since they come from the Guarded Table and Ilm-e-Ladunni comes directly from God.

The book penned by HDE Gohar Shahi, The Religion of God (Divine Love), as it has been declared by HDE Gohar Shahi Himself, is the masterpiece of Ilm-e-Ladunni.

How to Bring Out the Best in People

How to Bring Out the Best in People

How to Bring Out the Best in People

Try to be always kind, do not try to be always right. Sometimes you have to be kind even if people are wrong, so do not go after righteousness.

Sometimes, a man is not what his character is. Sometimes, a man is not what his sins tell you. Sometimes, a man is buried deep under the burden of his sins and habits that he cannot get rid of. However, inside his heart, he is very kind — a gentleman.

So do not always try to judge; sometimes, you have to forgive. You must do this in order to bring the best out of people.

When some people sit with you, they bring the worst out of you. However, a spiritual man is one who will bring the best out of you. He will bring the best out of you because you yourself cannot bring the best out of you [on your own].

Younus AlGohar and Steve Bell discuss Unitarian Spirituality on ThatChannel.com

The following is a transcript of the discussion between Younus AlGohar, Steve Bell and Hugh Reilly at the ThatChannel.com HQ.

Hugh Reilly (H): Hey everybody, it is me, Hugh, with Liquid Lunch. This is actually a surprise get-together today. We have HH Younus AlGohar and Steve Bell from the Messiah Foundation UK. You guys were going to go to Edmonton – which is a real journey from Toronto, since you were going to drive there – but I heard the weather was bad and it is really no fun driving the snow.

It is great to have you here. We had the [Unitarian Spiritualism] event on October 29th at the Steelworkers Hall. Really, I guess the message that you are bringing is unitarian spirituality: we’re all human beings and we have to learn to get along with one another and that’s what we are trying to do.

Let’s talk about what true spirituality is.

Who makes a good spiritual leader?

Steve Bell (S): True spirituality is regarding the spirits. It is to do with the spirits. His Holiness Younus AlGohar quite clearly says that we have seven souls in our body. And spirituality is all about reawakening those souls. For those souls, they can visit their respective realms once they have been regenerated with divine energy.

Not all the souls are positive; they all have different functions. We very clearly have a negative soul in us; when we are born, this negative soul is active which is why we find it so easy to hate; negatively comes very easily to human beings. The positive, loving side, takes a bit of work.

His Holiness often says, ‘It is very easy to hate and you don’t need to learn how to hate. But to learn to love, you have to make a bit of effort.’

You always have to tell a child to share a toy. It is quite in the nature to be negative.

True spirituality is reawakening those spirits and souls. [The way] is not by reading books or going to worship places. The only way you can reawaken those souls is through a true spiritual master. A true spiritual master will reawaken your souls for you. It is not just a pipe dream; you can feel the presence in your heart. After some time, you can feel yourself becoming a better, more loving, human being.

A true Spiritual Master is somebody that can unlock that door and open your heart and souls.

H: You got me curious: what are the seven souls? You mentioned they’re not all positive and there are some negative ones in there.

S: The [Spiritual Heart] is the key to connect with God. Once the heart reawakens, that is how you can communicate with God.

We’re not against any religion, as we have said many times before. But we are not in the business of worshipping God; our business is loving God.

We teach people how they can love God through the connection of their heart. So that’s the main soul [that we focus on]. The other souls have different functions in the breast; they also need divine energy to do what they’re supposed to do.

Once that first step has been taken and they’re reawakened, then they know exactly what they’re supposed to do.

The heart was given to us to love God. It doesn’t need to be taught that. Our spiritual master, His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi, says it beautifully that once that heart awakens, it is like a chick waking up. You don’t have to teach that chick how to chirp. It already knows how to do it.

Once your heart reawakens, it already knows how to worship God because that’s what it was there for. You feel so joyful after you have that [Opening of the Spiritual Heart].

H: You’ve had that experience?

S: Yes!

As we’ve mentioned before about love, once you have God’s love inside your heart, then you start to see everybody else as having that same love of God. You cannot hate that person. You feel unification, which is what we are talking about.

H: This is one of the things that you do. In fact, I saw you on the 29th giving [the Opening of the Spiritual Heart] to a woman who came up.

S: There were other people who didn’t want to come up [to the stage] but they wanted a bit of a private session [for the Opening of the Spiritual Heart]. They took the name Allah Hu. It is about getting that name into the heart; it doesn’t matter what you use to call upon God because once [the name of your preference] enters the heart, that is what does all the work. They felt straight away their heart beating and warmth in their heart. Quite a few people took that on [the day of the Unitarian Spiritualism programme].

H: A lot of people talk about spirituality. What is the importance of spirituality in religions?

Younus AlGohar (Y): As far as my understanding is concerned, I see religion as a physical exercise of different rituals. You worship God with your body. Whereas spirituality is about enlightenment of the souls, strengthening them, making a spiritual journey, arriving at a destination in the ethereal world (which is not this phenomenal world).

It is interesting how the Gospel of Thomas talks about the Kingdom of God that Jesus promises to his disciples. I want Brother Steve to comment on what Jesus [meant] when he said, ‘I will take you to a world which eyes have ever dreamt of and no hearts have every desired.’

H: That’s interesting because the Gospel of Thomas is not part of Bible, but they call it the apocryphal text. Steve, are you familiar with this?

S: Yes, I’m very familiar with this. It talks about love and spirituality which is not always what the church wants us to learn. They’re very much into dogmas.

H: I guess Constantine wanted that book buried, right?

S: Right. Once you have that divine energy, when you read such scriptures, you have to have more of an understanding of it. Jesus did say to his followers, ‘I promise you a kingdom that no eye has seen, and no ear has heard of.’

If you really look into that and think about it, there were prophets before: Abraham and Moses came and spoke about God’s kingdom and told people how to get to God’s kingdom.

Jesus, when he came, he told them, ‘It is a place you’ve never heard of or seen.’

He was talking about his own kingdom. Another very important work we do is showing people the path to Jesus through this [Opening of the Spiritual Heart]. Jesus is actually here and he is gathering his people. He is letting their souls mingle with his. Again, it is not a worship, it is love – a connection.

H: That is an interesting distinction: you’re not worshipping, you’re loving. Arguably, I guess this is what the message of Jesus was.

S: We were in Mexico City last week. There were well over 800 people who are Catholics or were Catholics (but it never really leaves you, does it?). When we said that, there was a huge relief and cheer that we were talking about making the heart the worship place and that you don’t have to go to churches. We [told them], ‘We are not going to show you pictures of Jesus suffering on the cross. We are going to show you the true image of Jesus – the live image of Jesus.’

I think this is what people want to hear. I think they’re a bit fed up.

Terrorism

H: These days, it seems to me that people are possibly fed up with their religions – but they’re also possibly concerned about the directions things are headed in the world. We’ve got terrorism – Islamic and otherwise.

Y: But the thing is, do we not need to find out: what could be the reason why people are fed up with their religions?

H: Yeah!

Y: And then why [this is happening to] a religion like Islam, which has been around for almost 15 centuries and produced wonderful spiritual leaders like Rumi, Shirazi, Hafiz and all these great Sufis who only talked about love and brotherhood. They never promoted hatred; they mingled with followers of every religion and never talked about exclusion. Then suddenly, we have this in front of us where people are saying, ‘Allahu Akbar!’ and there is a bomb blast.

This is scary. Some people will jump to conclusions that Islam is teaching all this hatred. Some others have reservations and some others are confused. But the thing is: how, having served humanity for the past 14 centuries, has Islam been dragged to a position where people don’t want to hear the world, Islam?

To my understanding, it happens when spirituality is taken off religion – when people lose connection with God. When people do not know how to revive the human instincts and human characteristics in them that, of course, are adhered to the souls and spirits, not to the body. The body is just a container.

If the soul inside the body is pure, the body will act pure.

If the soul inside the body is impure, then obviously these things will happen. This is the case with every single religion today. Since they divorced spirituality from the religions, religions have lost their systems of spiritual enlightenment.

We need to understand that spirituality is the core of every religion.

When spirituality is separated from a religion, what is happening in the name of Islam right now is what will happen.

S: We recognise that this battle that is going on is not between Christians and Muslims; it is about love and hate. There were two cases in the news just last week: Jihadi Jack and the White Widow. I mean, they’re saying that they’re being attracted to Islam, but they’re not being attracted to the loving, tolerant teachings of Sufism. They’re being attracted to the hardline, hateful Wahhabis. They’re being attracted to hate; they’re not being attracted to love.

We’re building on the love side and telling people, ‘This is a big cover-up. This is not about religion. This is about the great divide on the end of love and hate.’

H: Sometimes I think somebody has got an agenda to just divide people. I know you travel the world trying to spread the message of love and spirituality. The kind of hate you just mentioned where people do commit acts of terrorism or are about to hurt other people – how can you root that out?

Y: We can only do something partially. For example, the youth who haven’t been yet affected by radicalisation, we can give them the right interpretation of their religion. We can tell them, ‘No, [the meaning of the holy text that the extremists give you is not true]. This is not what it means.’

We need to nip the devil in the bud. When they have already been radicalised, then you can’t root that out from their lives. They’re gone, they’re history. They’ll do what they want to do.

In order to be able to have a good society in the future, we need to work on the youth, not these people who have already been indoctrinated into hatred. Nothing can be done about them, honestly.

H: I agree with that. You try to reach young people, but then you may not reach everybody. Maybe some of those people [you influence] will reach such people.

Y: Of course. But we should do whatever we can do. Whatever is humanly possible.

H: Yeah. We are very fortunate, we live in prosperous, Western countries. But some people, even though they have all the luxuries of life, they are lacking inner peace. Is there anything we can do about that?

Inner Peace

S: Inner peace is all to do with the restlessness of the heart and souls. The whole purpose of coming in this world, we say, is that you should reconnect your souls with God.

You should manage to reawaken your souls. Everybody in their life gets the chance to do that. It is about grabbing that chance. Once that energy enters your heart, then the restlessness goes.

You can see so many people converting from one religion to another. We spoke about the importance of religions [during the programme]. Do we need religions? Another problem is that when people do leave religions, they can join some self-concocted following. We’ve travelled quite a lot to mind, body and soul expos. The things that you see there are just unbelievable. You know, hair reading, palm reading, etc.

H: I guess that won’t work for everybody!

S: Yeah, it won’t work for everybody. Chakras is another word [for spirits]. They talk about balancing the chakras. They do all sorts of things to balance these chakras and it can work temporarily. There is energy everywhere, so you’ll feel some temporary energy but it is not serving that purpose. That is why people are still going to be restless; they will be going for more top-ups of these sessions.

It is not just about balancing the chakras. They need to be reawakened and energised with divine energy. Then, people won’t be going back to these places and spending their hard-earned money. Spirituality is free; it is from God.

You shouldn’t have to pay money to connect yourself to God.

H: For people watching this right now, what would you advise them to do to deal with these issues? I really think that people do have a need for some kind of connection to the divine. If they don’t get that, you have got to find an outlet somehow – so what do you recommend?

S: To connect to God, you have to find a spiritual master – somebody who has got power and authority. You can’t just do it by reading books; you could watch somebody fly a plane your whole life [but] it won’t allow you to fly that plane. Similarly, you need somebody how to teach you how to reawaken your heart and souls. You need a divine, spiritual master who will connect you with God and reawaken your souls.

H: Do we know anybody who fits that description?

S: We know somebody who is very close by.

S: This is the beauty of our message. It has been made so simple. You don’t have to leave your workplace, family or opt out of society to join the spiritual path. You can quite simply go on TheAwaitedOne.com or GoharShahi.us. You can go to YouTube – we have AlRa TV.

So you can go on there. Every evening at 10 PM GMT, His Holiness does speeches. He explains further teachings of spirituality. He teaches the youth [and started an initiative known as Young Sufis of Great Britain]. He will answer any questions submitted there. The beauty of this is that you don’t have to watch it live; you can check them out anytime on YouTube.

You can go to the website and look at the true images of HDE Gohar Shahi and Jesus Christ. You can just ask for your heart to be opened.

H: You can do it on the website?

S: You can do it on the website, just looking at those images. Another option is that you can look at the Full Moon, where we say that the image of HDE Gohar Shahi and Jesus are prominent – and you can ask directly to the Moon.

H: Really? Okay. When is the next Full Moon?

Deradicalisation

Y: I want to say something.

I reflect on this point: if God really wanted us to kill people, and this is how we will make him happy, then by doing this, everybody will be dead. Who will go into the temples and mosques? This is so silly.

[Some individuals] claim to adhere to some religion and they don’t practise or understand that religion, yet somehow, they want to sacrifice their lives and claim others’ lives. What is the driving force? What is the benefit of doing this? This is crazy. It doesn’t make sense to me.

H: No, it doesn’t make sense. But it still happens. What would you do about it though?

Y: I really am dazzled and boggled. I do not know how to go about it. I can only reach out to the youth and tell them, ‘Look this is not exactly what God wants from you. You want to love everybody and respect everybody.’

If you think God wants you to kill everybody, I don’t think I should believe in such a God.

H: We’re talking about a universal spirituality, in a sense. As a counter-action to a religion or religious institution that’s gotten into a state where they’re preaching a misguiding philosophy of hate (that sometimes happen in religions where they’ve gotten that negative message). It also seems to me today that there seems to be a growing sense of atheism. Maybe more in the West than elsewhere.

Y: What do you expect from people when they practise a religion and they learn hatred – and they’re killing people in the name of God? This is what will happen: people will become atheists, obviously. People who are law-abiding citizens – who want peace in their lives and who don’t want hatred – they will think, ‘This crap is coming from God. We’re better off without not having God in our lives.’ This is why people are becoming atheists every day. I don’t blame them.

Reaching Out to Atheists

H: The message of universal spirituality – is that a message that can get through to atheists?

Y: If you are eating a rotten banana and your stomach is upset, the best possible solution that I can think of is to give you another fresh banana and tell you, ‘That one is going to make you ill. So take this banana [instead].’

If one philosophy of a religion is messed up and it has been adulterated on a larger scale where you can’t fix it, you better introduce a new philosophy: a philosophy of spirituality which can benefit you immediately.

When people have the counter-philosophy of divine love in front of them, probably, they will embrace it. We need to switch to spirituality from religions.

H: Let’s imagine for a second here that we are talking to an atheist. What message would you give that person?

Y: ‘Awaken your soul.’ Because you are not your body. You are more your soul. In order to reap the benefits of having a soul in your body, you need to enlighten your soul so that you can have all the power in you which is provided by your soul.

So to all the individuals who practise atheism, who do not believe in God: forget about believing in God. I want you to believe in yourself and be at your optimum. In order to be at your optimum, you need to at least revive your spiritual characteristics. That’s all. Simple.

Spiritual Healing

H: We hear stories of people who are healed through their faith, spirituality or religion – even through divine energy. Can you talk a little bit about healing with divine energy?

S: As we said, negative energy is within us. We’re drawing in negative energies through everyday life – watching the television or even breathing the air. Once that negative energy attacks the cells, it causes whatever illness that you have. Even if it is an illness that is incurable medically, once the positive energy enters your veins, then that positive energy negates all the negative out. It will go straight into your blood system and become a healing process. Your heart will just generate divine energy continuously, even when you are sleeping. Throughout the whole day, you will be given this positive energy that just surrounds your body.

We’ve been very successful in spiritual healing.

H: Even with people that are, maybe, near the end? A fatal diagnosis?

S: Well, you’ve met Mir Ali quite a few times now. He was in quite a bad way in the UK. I think you’d be very surprised to see how he is now. We’ve had many people in these expos [who we healed].

A man, Joseph, at the New York Expo, was diagnosed with HIV. We did quite a lot of extensive healing on him. I returned to New York some months later and we did some more healing on him. The next time we saw him a year afterwards, he said he had the all-clear. That was quite remarkable.

There has been quite a lot of in Mexico queuing up to receive spiritual healing. Many hundreds of people came for healing in Mexico. People do recognise spiritual healing. Definitely for atheists, if they have tried God in other ways and it hasn’t worked for them, and they have given up on God – then why not try this? It is free! If you are taking medicine, you don’t know who made it, but you take it because you think it will work.

So we’re saying, ‘Just try it. Try another path. If you don’t believe the way to connect yourself to God was a religion, then try spirituality.’

H: People can go to the website and get the [Opening of the Spiritual Heart] through the website. How long are you in town for?

Y: We’ll be here another few days and then we will go back home to the UK.

AlRa TV

H: So you have AlRa TV, which I know that you use to reach out [to people]. One of the things that you are doing that I am aware of is helping to deradicalise Islamic youth in the UK and elsewhere. What other kind of messages are you trying to get out through AlRa TV?

Y: This is a very hot issue right now. Every night when I speak at 10 PM UK time, people from all over the world send in their questions about the right interpretation [of their religion]. It is not just Muslims. They come from different religions.

H: Because this is a universal message.

Y: Yes. I reply to them in details. Most of these people are satisfied and then they change their ways. Many people, having listened to my lectures, have sort of shunned their radicalised intentions. They were regretting and saying that only God knows how they got into this [nonsense].

They are very much part of this love and peace movement now. So it is working. People from as far as Australia, Asian countries like Sri Lanka, Indian, Bangladesh and even Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia [are watching my videos]. A lot of young people between 17-25 years of age come to listen to my lectures from Saudi Arabia. The good thing is they’re changing and they’re really happy. They say that they never heard such a wonderful interpretation of their religion before. All they heard was aggression, revenge, taking over the world and putting up the flag [of Islam] in Washington DC – and [we told them], ‘No, it is not all about that, my friends!’

H: I’ve met some great people from Saudi Arabia and a couple of them were actually working here at the station. They were awesome.

Y: Good people are everywhere.

H: Exactly! And the stereotypes we hear only cause us to really misunderstand people. People are people no matter where they come from.

Y: There are more good people.

Good people have outnumbered bad people. But the thing is, good people are quiet and the bad people are noisy.

All we hear is the noise so we think, ‘Oh, the world is corrupt; everybody is bad.’ Every bad person is making noise and every good person is sitting quietly.

H: It only takes one bad apple to spoil a whole bunch.

Y: We need to root out that bad apple out!

H: You’re doing the speech every day. So you must always be writing and getting prepared.

Y: No, I don’t do it.

H: So it’s all spontaneous?

Y: It is intuitional and inspirational.

H: So do you know what your next topic will be?

Y: I don’t know, it depends on people. Whatever people ask, I just open my mouth and I speak, honestly.

H: It is probably divinely [inspired].

Y: I don’t know how it happens and where it comes from, but it happens. I speak and speak and they hear it.

H: It was great to have you here always! It has been great to have this conversation. I hope you have a great trip back to the UK and all the best with AlRa TV!

Unitarian Spiritualism: The Transcript

Unitarian Spiritualism: The Transcript

The following is the transcript of Younus AlGohar’s speech delivered at the Unitarian Spiritualism Conference in Toronto, Canada. The speech was preceded by a few words from social media star and TV host, Waqar Zaka, and the chairman of Messiah Foundation International, Mir Liaqat Ali.

Waqar Zaka

My personal experience with [Younus AlGohar] is that this is a method of bringing spiritual elements in your heart. I think it is amazing that sir has a method that actually creates that atmosphere where you can go anywhere in the world, but still your heart will be connected to God. I think this is a great service to humanity.

There is a lot of confusion about what [spiritualism] actually is, especially in Pakistan. People often mistake it for being another sect [of Islam] and many other things. My job as a reporter is to present the facts. Most of the time, people misunderstand things which they don’t want to understand. My only advice is that please use social media in such a way where you do not hide your good deeds.

Mir Liaqat Ali

I have been asked to introduce HH Younus AlGohar. I did spend 10-11 years in his company. Very intently, I observed His Holiness. I don’t know whether you realise it or not, how fortunate we are that this knowledge and blessings and connection with divinity comes from the main source.

For example, when you flip the switch and turn the light on, the source of energy is coming from somewhere else. Similarly, we are getting connected through His Holiness to the powerhouse.

Here is a chance that you will have divine connection. Ask as many questions as you can to understand. His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi has left a wide window open for us. It is a matter of your priorities. This is your chance to be connected to the powerhouse.

His Holiness has worked very hard and travelled from the far east – Osaka, Japan – to the far west – Pakistan, India, Europe, etc. Here is your chance to connect with divinity.

Younus AlGohar, CEO of Messiah Foundation International

Good evening everybody. I am always very happy to be here. I would like to share with you some of the selected observational points that I have learnt throughout my spiritual career.

I was born and bred in Pakistan and obviously had a different attitude towards life – being born in a country where everybody thinks he is right and, unfortunately, nobody is right. When I came to live in England, I had difficulty in understanding others and difficulty in explaining to them that I was right. I lived there for 27-28 years and I remodelled my thought process.

I have learnt that the most difficult job is to tell somebody, ‘I want to correct you.’

The moment you say this to them, they will ask you, ‘Are you correct?’ And then we enter into a new debate. When I say  that I remodelled my thought process, this is exactly what I meant. I change some of my words that I used in the past – for example, ‘I want to correct you.’ I deprived myself of the luxury of saying these words. I want to share something with you – that’s what it is.

We are unattended in this Planet Earth. We think God is watching over us but we do not know whether we are [actually] being watched over. We feel as if we have been abandoned and stranded. We are just doing what we feel like doing. We claim to love our parents, children and we claim to love God, but this is just a claim. We talk about love and peace, but we just talk about it; we do not know what love is.

Every single human being has a different philosophy of life – and he is dead sure that his philosophy is right and everybody else is wrong.

Religions have expired. They were very good, but now religions have become a problem; they do not serve the purpose anymore. They are dead bodies; like a body without a soul. If the religions were still intact and serving the purpose, then Christians, Jews and Muslims would love each other. They wouldn’t fight. They wouldn’t kill each other.

I come from a Muslim background. I studied the Koran. I studied the Bible and Torah too. But I would like to share with you one particular story from the Koran.

The Story of the Last Adam

Adam’s body was being made in the Paradise and the angels raised an objection. They asked God, ‘You are creating Adam again*? Again, he will do the same thing that he did previously – bloodshed, hatred and nothing else. Why are you created Adam again?’

This was the objection raised by the angels because they had seen what Adams had done previously: bloodshed, spread of hatred, killing, massacres, carnage – all in the name of God. All in the name of the religions.

But God this time was so confident because he came up with a newer idea. He was going to do something which he did not do before. On this occasion, he was going to award Adam with extraordinary knowledge of spirituality.

Prior to the coming of the Last Adam, the progenies of all other Adams were not given the knowledge of spirituality. They would simply worship God.

They were not given the knowledge of spirituality with the help of which they could awaken their souls or strengthen their souls. They were naive of spiritual meditation. They were not able to make astral projection. They were not able to make spiritual journeys.

But for the Last Adam, God has something els in mind. He told the angels, ‘This time, I am going to grant this Adam some magnificent knowledge: knowledge of spirituality. A type of knowledge in which he would be able to retrieve divine energy from my different names.; God asked the angels, ‘If you are aware of that knowledge, tell me now.’ They said, ‘No. You never told us this knowledge. How would we know it?’

The principal idea was that when this knowledge would be granted to Adam he would be able to spiritualise his life, strengthen his souls and be able to spiritually connect himself to God. He would be so consumed with the divine environment with the presence of God that he would only spread love. He would only love his fellowmen. He would never kill or hate anybody. He would become sublime.

The concept of jealousy comes when there is no equality – when one is superior and other is inferior. But when everybody is equal, there cannot be a concept of jealousy.

The concept of jealousy came from the Devil. This happened when he realised that with this new knowledge of spirituality, Adam has become so eminent – even if he tried, he would not be able to compete with Adam in spirituality. Because he did not have spirits and this knowledge of spiritual is for those who have spirits. This was an utter disappointment for the Devil.

However, now when spirituality became the mode of love and peace, and pride for humanity, Adam descended on Earth. Before he could teach his progeny how to become sublime, his sons fell out and Abel killed Cain – the same story again. But those who were able to obtain the knowledge of spirituality really become sublime. After Adam, Abraham came to this world. He was awarded a bit more spiritual knowledge in comparison to Adam. With his power and knowledge, he thrived more with love. Subsequent to Abraham came Moses. Then Jesus – and Jesus brought about the methodology of divine love. Then the last prophet, Prophet Mohammad, came and opened the gates upon humanity to see God; however only a little portion of humanity were able to see God.

Now we are living in the 21st century. Religions – how they were practised when the religions were established is just a story. We have not met either Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, or Prophet Mohammad. We have just heard about them. The source is books. We have never been in direct contact with any of the prophets or God. So what we know about God, prophets and religions – our source is very weak. We do not know how many times the religious books have been adulterated and to what extent they have been altered.

Our total dependency and reliance about the religion and God is on the books – and somebody might have fiddled with the books. This approach has failed; you can never come to know the truth by the books.

His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi has come with a marvellous, magnificent, brilliant idea of putting men directly in the audience with God.

When the throbs of your heart are synchronised with the name of God – and as a result of this –  divine energy starts to be produced, you feel the warmth of God’s light and love. Within the perimeters of your heart, you are in direct contact with God.

In order to love God, believe you me: neither do you have to be a Muslim, Christian or a Jew. All you need to be is whoever you are because God’s love is for everybody. Whoever wants to love God, God will definitely embrace such a person.

Our struggle is to tell you how to learn this spiritual method. You do not need to go to university or a college; it is not a one-year diploma. It doesn’t take too long. The only time you will need somebody’s help in spirituality is right in the beginning when God’s name with its spirit is implanted and cultivated in the soil of your heart.

This implant of God’s name is the principal gateway to loving God.

It’s like a plant: you sow a seed, keep watering it and one day it will turn into a big tree.

According to a Prophetic Tradition, ‘The Kalima (Word of God) is like a seed. When that seed has been planted in the soil of the heart and you keep watering it with divine energy, it will turn one day into a big tree – the roots of which will lie in your heart. And the branches of which will cover even the imperial dark.

When this comes from a cleric, it is a piece of knowledge. It will become a reality when it will come from a Sufi heart because he has the ability to turn that God’s name into a tree in your heart.

It doesn’t take long; it’s a simple transfer. I was just thinking how money is sent from one place to another and how people are afraid of money laundering. One day people will come and say, ‘There are some newly introduced divine laws – God-laundering.’ God has been transferred from one heart to another.

This is a spiritual transfer. This is what we do.

Divine love is something that you, involuntarily, are not capable of. Your heart must learn to love. It is very unfortunate though, that in order to hate somebody, you do not need to learn. People are so obsessed with hatred and everybody is a champion. If you ask them, ‘Did you go to university, do you have a master’s degree in hatred?’ they will say no – but they know how to hate. But love? You need to learn it.

You don’t need to learn to hate. But you need to learn to love. Because love is precious; God doesn’t want every Tom, Dick and Harry to have the luxury of love.

When you learn to love and you acquire it, you become an honest lover. Between a boyfriend and girlfriend, the love is not really pure; they can cheat on each other [easily]. Similarly, every single religious person is cheating on God every time he sets foot into a mosque, church or temple. They’re cheating on God because they are saying the name of God and worshipping God, but they have something else in their hearts; their intentions are polluted. They are not honest with themselves. They are not honest with God.

God doesn’t just want to make you worship. God wants to love you and God wants to be loved by you.

There must be individuals sitting here who must have known the feeling of being loved. The moment you realise somebody loves you – somebody has been following you – the very fact that you are being loved is wonderful.

When somebody says to you, ‘You look wonderful,’ you go back home and look at yourself in the mirror. You know yourself, but you want to see your face again when somebody tells you that you look beautiful. This is called recognition.

You are only worshipping God; God wants to know that you love him. The only information that people receive about God is through books. [Muslims are told], ‘Go to the mosque five times a day. If you don’t, you are a non-believer. Fast in the month of Ramadan. If you don’t, you are a non-believer.’ This is all true, but then again, what is the purpose of the religion? The purpose of the religion is a connection with God.

It doesn’t really matter what religion you follow. Christianity, Judaism and Islam are monotheistic religions and they all come from the same source: they are all Abrahamic faiths. Jews, Christians and Muslims believe in the same God. We have everything today: the Bible, Torah, Talmud and Koran. There are many thousand mosques all over the world, beautifully built. There are huge churches, synagogues and temples. But are we connected to God? No, we are not. If you are not connected to God, then the purpose is lost.

We are in the business of connecting people to God. The rest is secondary issues.

The primary issue is a connection with God.

Questions and Answers Session

Q: Once your heart is activated with God’s name, how do you maintain the number of times the heart does mention God?

A: It is not in your hands. The number of times a heart can say the name of God is 144 000 times a day. That is the maximum. Only God will decide how many times your heart should be allowed to say God’s name. This is how it is because God is almighty. It is up to him how much love he wants to grant you. In front of God, we’re all beggars and beggars can’t be choosers.

Q: If you wish to love, God has to grant it to you?

A: God is our creator and he knows what dose of love should be given to our soul. If you take an overdose, you will become a Malang (someone intoxicated in God’s love).

Q: You wouldn’t believe how things went in my favour so that I could come here. I came to Toronto from Windsor to meet you (370 KM). I believe that me being here [is a sign that God] has granted me more love. How do I get enlightened?

A: During the daytime, you are more inclined towards the mundane aspect of life so the pace of the heart gets slow because you are busy with other stuff. But during the night when there is nothing for you to do and you are more focused on your heart, that is the time when your heart performs more of its Dhikr (invocation of God’s name).

Q: How do I reach out to Prophet Mohammad? I want to be enlightened and see God. When I started meditating, I was in so much pain.

A: People often talk about the Third Eye. With the help of the Third Eye, people can see things which they are not normally able to see. There is no Third Eye [per se]; there is only an eye. That eye will open up once your Carnal Self is completely purified.

The Carnal Self (Nafs) is at the bellybutton. It is the Ego. When this soul is completely purged and purified, your eye is open forever. What you cannot see with these two physical eyes, with that, you will be able to see everything. Even prophets and angels; everything that you cannot now see with the physical eyes.

The Third Eye is actually the purification [of the Carnal Self]. When this happens you will be able to see, but it takes time.

*His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi reveals that the history of mankind did not begin 6000 years ago with Adam and Eve. The Adam and Eve we know from the Torah, Bible and Koran was the final pair sent by God. Prior to this, different Adams were sent into different localities around the world – which is why the skin colours and temperaments of different nations vary. Learn more about the true history of humankind in His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi’s book, The Religion of God (Divine Love).

God’s Point of View

God’s Point of View

God’s Point of View

The following is an excerpt from a speech Younus AlGohar delivered to a gathering of spiritual leaders in Mexico before the Amor Universal Conference.

Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi said, ‘Those who are spiritual – who are Godly – are always happy. They never look sad.’

When I went into the depth of knowledge pertaining to God, I found out that God is more romantic than Romeo and he wants his friend to act like Juliet. However, when we become spiritual and religious, we become so serious.

When it comes to becoming a spiritual person, there should not be any difference whether that seeker is a woman or a man. There are so many people in the world who talk about spirituality; however, their definition of spirituality is very fake.

The point I want to raise today is how do we, the creation, think – and how does God think? What is God’s point of view? How does he think about us and what does he want?

Both parties should be aware that there is a relationship between them. For example, if you love me, you should tell me. If I love you, I should I tell you. If I love a woman, and everybody else knows but her (or vice versa), what is the point?

So in a similar fashion, if we want to love God, we should tell him. If I want to tell a woman that I love her, but she is not here, then it is like talking to the walls. When you are in a mosque, church, temple or synagogue and you say, ‘God, I love you,’ you are telling walls.

The temples, churches, mosques, etc. are not the true houses of God. In these worship places, we do some sort of worship. That’s it.

The true house of God is the heart.

There was a man at the time of Moses. He heard that Moses spoke to God on the Mount of Sinai. So he went to every mountain and yelled, ‘God, where are you?’ There was no reply. When there was no reply, he became really depressed. He said, ‘God, I looked for you everywhere. You spoke to Moses on this Mount of Sinai. I came here and called out your name, but you didn’t reply.’

Then, [sometime later], it was his calling. he was about to die. The angels who were taking out his soul asked him, ‘Why are you so sad?’

He said, ‘I wanted to speak with God all my life. I wanted to love him all my life, but I couldn’t find any way.’

Then, in that last moment, the angels said to him, ‘Speak to God now. He is listening to you.’

He said, ‘God, where are you? I looked for you everywhere.’

God replied, ‘You looked for me everywhere but you forgot yourself. I was in your heart.’

So we need to find out this heart’s door and how to open it.

This is the important organ in our body, whether it is about our physical life or whether it is about our relationship with God.

People want to love God. Some people want to love God while being a Muslim. Some others want to love God as a Christian. Every religious person wants to love God within their religion. This is why everybody loves him differently.

But now, God wants them to love him with uniformity. All should love him with the heart.

Unitarian Spiritualism Conference in Toronto, Canada 2017

The Unitarian Spiritualism Conference, hosted by Messiah Foundation Canada and the Universal Great Brotherhood, was an amazing experience for all involved. We were pleased to see the positive response and meet with so many people whose lives have been spiritualised through His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi‘s blessings.

Steve Bell, President of Messiah Foundation UK, spoke beautifully about the importance and practicality of spirituality in modern-day life. Master Paul Acuna from the Universal Great Brotherhood also shared an admirable perspective on life and human connection.

Celebrity guest Waqar Zaka also spoke about his personal experience with members of Messiah Foundation International.

‘My personal experience with [HH Younus AlGohar] is that this is a method of bringing spiritual elements in your heart. I think it is amazing that [His Holiness] has a method that actually creates the atmosphere where you can go anywhere in the world, but still, your heart will be connected to God. I think this is a great service to humanity.’ – Waqar Zaka on Opening of the Spiritual Heart

His Holiness Younus AlGohar, the keynote speaker and CEO of Messiah Foundation, delivered a mesmerising speech on divine love, the history and relevance of spirituality and the state of religions. The audience was fascinated by his wise words and wholeheartedly embraced his unique message for humanity.

Many people from different religious backgrounds participated in the conference. Mr Sufi Nadeem and his musical band performed many popular Sufi songs which further added to the spiritual atmosphere. A number of people from the crowd even got out of their seats to engage in a Sufi dance while he performed.

We would like to thank Mr Hugh Reilly (Host of Liquid Lunch, ThatChannel.com) for hosting our programme and honourable guest Waqar Zaka for providing social media coverage of the Unitarian Spiritualism Conference.
