The USA Tour 2019: A Total Success

The USA Tour 2019: A Total Success

We had a tremendous few weeks here in the USA during our tour of the West Coast! Our international team of delegates travelled between Mount Shasta (Yreka, CA), Los Angeles (CA), Phoenix (AZ), Sedona (AZ), Taos (NM), Tempe (AZ) and Ojai (CA) for a series of events promoting the Messiah Foundation International’s universal message of divine love and spirituality. The CEO of MFI, Sufi Spiritual Revivalist Younus AlGohar, was the keynote speaker at the programmes. The President of MFI UK, Rev. Shaykh Steve Bell, and the President of MFI USA, Shaykha Azucena Avila, also addressed our audiences.

It is with bittersweet feelings that we wrap up this incredible tour – while our international team of delegates are sad for it to end, we are equally excited as we look forward to our upcoming events around the world.
2019-July to August-TOUR-USA Summer 2019

Here are some of our favourite moments from this tour.

Mount Shasta Spiritual Heart Activation Event (With 5D Events) was the first event of our tour. It was located at the sacred grounds of Mount Shasta in Yreka. This two-day seminar was attended by spiritualists from all around California and Arizona. Sufi Younus AlGohar and Rev. Steve Bell spoke about topics like Spiritual Without Religion, Liberating Your Inner Person and The Living Jesus. Free spiritual healing and Activation of the Heart were offered. The Ring of Love on the final day – where all participants gathered to dance and sing in a joyous celebration of love and unity – was particularly powerful.

One member of the audience grasped Sufi Younus AlGohar’s hand and declared, ‘Thank you. Jesus was here, I just know it.’

Another participant exclaimed, ‘As soon as I saw your aura, I knew you were the real deal.’

The Opening of the Spiritual Heart Ceremony (Unity of Sedona) was arranged by the Unity of Sedona catering especially to the Native American community of Sedona. Shaykh Nadeem Siddiqui sang Sufi songs and Rev. Shaykh Steve Bell granted every member of the audience the Activation of the Spiritual Heart.

Universal Sufi Dhikr at the Lama Foundation was one of the most significant events in the history of the Messiah Foundation International. For the admirers of His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi, there is nothing more memorable than the scenes from the Dome at the Lama Foundation spiritual retreat centre (Taos, New Mexico). His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi, in His majestic splendour, had been seated at the centre of the room. People of all colours, religions and backgrounds had joined hands as they circumambulated around Him. The sounds of their voices as they chanted ‘Allah’ in unison were not just pleasant to listen to; they represented the undeniable truth that in the presence of His Divine Eminence, humankind could be unified. That was July 1997.

In July 2019, 22 years later, we returned. For our team, going to the Lama Foundation was a spiritual pilgrimage of sorts.

We were warmly welcomed by the residents of the Lama Foundation. Sufi Younus AlGohar first gave a short speech on Sufism. Then, in an act of exceptional spiritual bounty, Sufi Younus AlGohar personally granted every individual Activation of the Spiritual Heart.

What followed was a short Sufi Dhikr. Shaykh Nadeem Siddiqui and members of MFI USA then performed a Sufi dance to the majestic name, ALRA.⁣ To end this wonderful ceremony, a Q&A session was held, where many of the aspirants enthusiastically asked questions one after the other.

Every single person who entered the Dome that evening left it transformed. Divine power, might and rapturous love overwhelmed the spiritual senses of everyone there.

Sabina Jones, a volunteer at the Lama Foundation, said, ‘I am forever grateful and I will remember the things that were said…During the Dhikr, when I was sitting there and you were all dancing around us, I closed my eyes and I felt myself with God.’

Another resident at the Lama Foundation exclaimed, ‘During the Dhikr when one of your members was in the centre, the way the voices felt – it felt like his voice was surrounding the Sun – like the Sun was here and his voice was reaching up there.’

NUWTC’s Leaders in Action for Global Transformation Symposium was a special event held in Phoenix, Arizona where over 25 spiritual leaders from different communities came together to discuss how to work together for the betterment of humanity. Sufi Younus AlGohar delivered a very special talk on how to improve our global society practically with the help of the spiritual sciences, leaving an everlasting impression on the audience. Rev. Steve Bell conducted the Heart Activation Ceremony and Shaykh Nadeem Siddiqui led the Ring of Love where everybody joined hands in chanting, singing and dancing.

The Shrine of Holy Wisdom Heart Activation Ceremony in Tempe, Arizona was another hugely successful programme. Suf Younus AlGohar spoke about how to transform the human heart into a Shrine of Holy Wisdom practically. This event was attended by local leaders and aspirants of the spiritual path alike. Spiritual healing was performed followed by the Dastar-e-Fazilat Ceremony welcoming two new members to the rank of ‘Shaykh’. ⁣

Sufi Younus AlGohar then led an impromptu Transcendental Meditation session and all attendees were invited to join hands in a circle. Sufi Younus AlGohar explained his intentions to introduce everybody to individuals in the spiritual realm. He led the chanting of ‘ALRA’ and then the mantras ‘RA’ and ‘MA’ (relating to the Sun and Moon respectively). Thereafter, the mantras ‘RAMA’ and ‘ALRA’ were chanted again. The feeling of the room was very trance-like and everyone was engulfed by the immense divine energy and love in the atmosphere.

Urban Wellness Center Heart Activation Ceremony was organised by Shaykha Azucena Avila in Phoenix, Arizona. Rev. Shaykh Steve Bell delivered the opening talk, explaining the mission and message of the Messiah Foundation international.

Thereafter, Sufi Younus AlGohar took the stage to discuss applied spiritual sciences. A questions and answers session followed and a Dastar-e-Fazilat ceremony was held to award a wonderful gentleman with the title of ‘Shaykh’.

John Hinton, a spiritualist who had the honour of hosting His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi in his home in 1997, was overjoyed to be there. As fate would have it, he had attended this programme not knowing it was arranged by the followers of HDE Gohar Shahi. He embraced Sufi Younus AlGohar and tearfully told our team about his fond memories of HDE Gohar Shahi. We were honoured to partake in this delightful reunion with such a wonderful person.

The Iman Cultural Center for Peace and Tranquility in Los Angeles, California, was the venue of our penultimate programme with 5D Events. This event was attended by many members from the local Iranian and Turkish community as well as the broader spiritualist community. Every member of the audience was individually granted Activation of the Spiritual Heart and given extra special blessings by Sufi Younus AlGohar.

An individual who had been watching ALRA TV, the MFI’s official channel, specifically travelled from San Francisco to meet our team and Sufi Younus AlGohar.

The Ojai Center for Spiritual Living in California was the final event in our hugely successful tour – and what a wonderful way to end it! The turnout for this programme exceeded all expectations. It was as if all the residents of this charming town were eagerly awaiting this event. The proverbial red carpet was rolled out as the ceremonial horn was sounded upon Sufi Younus AlGohar’s arrival at the premises. ⁣The whole audience was entranced by Sufi Younus AlGohar’s speech about the celestial form of spirituality. Everyone seemed energetic and enthusiastic during the entire event. A Dastar-e-Fazilat Ceremony was performed for Shaykha Paula and Shayka Helen as they were given the prestigious title of ‘Shaykh’. All participants joined in with a Ring of Love with great enthusiasm and received the Activation of the Spiritual Heart.

Shortly after the ceremony, Sufi Younus AlGohar individually granted several individuals including Shaykha Paula and Shayka Helen special permission to activate hearts.⁣

Shaykha Helen told our team after the event, ‘’I felt I was with my family. I came home. I was crying: I am home, I am home! This was very beautiful to me.’

Shaykha Paula said, ‘’We send His Holiness [Younus AlGohar] with all the love and energy of Ojai as he tours around the world!’

Reverend Marilyn Miller, the Minister of the Ojai Center for Spiritual Living said, ‘It was a beautiful experience – we knew it would be. It was so very special. We appreciate all you coming. We appreciate your consciousness, your gift and your presence. I really enjoyed the discourse. I am glad [Sufi Younus AlGohar] is making a world tour.’

Special thanks to Shaykha Azucena Avila, Steve Bell, Saeed David Farman, Dr Sarah Larsen, Robert Newton, Sandie West, Fatima Gonzales, Shaykha Helen, Shaykha Paula, Reverend Marilyn and all others who painstakingly took it to help us with reaching out to people of all walks of life. Thank you for all your support and love as we take our message across cultures and nations.

Kindle The Flame of Love – Iman Center, Los Angeles, USA

The following is a transcript of Spiritual Sufi Revivalist Younus Algohar’s speech at the Iman Foundation for the spiritual heart opening event in Los Angeles, USA.

I would like to share my energies and whatever spiritual knowledge I have with you. I hope today that as we share our energies and we go back home the hope that you have in your hearts in increased and love blossoms more. I hope you take this responsibility individually upon yourself to bring a change in international societies, in this world.

Peace is a ring of love.

This will happen when the hearts are united and each one of us knows, ‘I am not greater or better than others’. When we realise that we all have the same potential invested in us by the supreme power who created us. When we come to this realisation that we are all one and equal in the eyes of the one who created us.

Initially, all humanity was one. When God created Adam and Eve, there were no differences. They were all brothers and sisters to each other. With the passage of time, when God introduced more prophets, one after the other, we happened to be diversified.  We were divided into many different religions and races. With a widespread progeny of Adam, languages evolved, differences increased to a point where now, we have forgotten that we are the creation of the same God.

On one side of the story, we have become so scientifically advanced. We have set our foot on the Moon and we are thinking about going to Mars. On the other hand,  spiritually, we have become so shallow-witted. We cannot see that everybody is calling upon the same God with different names. Whether it is Ram, Wahe Guru, Bhagwan, Elohim, Yahweh or God.

All these different religions were not created by God to make differences. They were like different pathways leading to one singular destination ultimately God.

Whether it was Abraham, Moses, Jesus, or Prophet Mohammad, the purpose and the principal was always the same: to love and worship God – and also to love humanity, and take care of each other.

God granted every messenger two different types of knowledge: knowledge of the exterior and knowledge of the interior. The knowledge of the exterior teaches us how to discipline our body, live physically and live in perfect peace and harmony with our fellow men. Then interior knowledge was to enable us to recognise God, connect with God and find peace in our hearts.

It has been very unfortunate that in every religion, after some time, the most important knowledge, spiritual knowledge, became extinct. Their practices of religion became futile.

Let me quote here Prophet  Mohmmad, the Prophet of Islam. He said, ‘O’ Sons of Adam, there is a lump of flesh in your body. If it is set right, your entire body will be set right. But if it is corrupted, your entire body will remain corrupted. Remember well: it is your heart’.

We have God’s name on the tip of our tongue, but we have no place for the name of God in our heart, where God is supposed to be.

We can easily give our heart to our girlfriend, wife and/or our children, but we never think of giving our heart to the Lord. The place of love is our heart. I must tell you what my master said about love.

My master, Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi said, ‘if you want to love somebody, bring that somebody in your heart, because the place of love is your heart. Whoever comes inside your heart, you will begin to love them’.

But we do not know how to bring God in our hearts. We do not even know where God is. No offence to any religion but according to all celestial books, ‘God is everywhere’.

We have faith, we believe that, but that belief is out of fear. This faith is not based on our observation. If God was everywhere, there wouldn’t be so much strife in this world. But then again, since all the divine dignitaries in the world said that God is everywhere, you feel really shaky and shivery to deny the fact. At the same time, we can’t even accept it because we don’t see God everywhere. We don’t see God in any place, let alone seeing God everywhere.

We’re supposed to have faith, but this faith is not going to help us until our faith is based on our observation.

Feeling, personal experience. If God is not inside you then he is nowhere. The first place where God must be is your heart.

According to the Quran, God said, ‘I am nearer to you than your jugular vein’.

That’s good news, but if God is nearer to everybody than their jugular vein, why is there so much hatred in this world? How can you have God in you and still behave evilly and selfishly? Did God’s presence have no impact on you?

We have this problem because those who interpreted the religion were not spiritually competent enough to interpret the divine word. We have to bring God in our hearts, only then will God be nearer to us than our jugular vein. This will not happen before bringing him in our heart.

I do not see any difference between the Bible, Quran, Talmud and Torah because they are all God’s word. It came from the same God.

All these wonderful, beautiful celestial books have been misinterpreted. On top of that, we have been deprived of spiritual knowledge. The intuitive understanding of the Quran and the Bible is missing. Intuition doesn’t come by reading books.

In this day and age, a majority of those who come to you in the garb of a Sufi are businessmen. They do not know what Sufism is. Religion has become a wonderful business: you dress up like a Sufi, go around the world collect donations, come back home and have a wonderful lifestyle. You are as hateful as ever and the people who rely on you spiritually have been misguided. They kept their faith in you and they are getting nothing out of this practice. This has been going on.

I’m not a priest, I’m not a religious man, but I am a Sufi. When I was in college, I did my masters in Organic Chemistry. I never went to a religious school. This is not my job that I’m doing right now, but I had to take up this job. When I was introduced to His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi, I was completely fed up with my religion. I grew up in a Muslim family, and the reason I was completely fed up with my religion was because of the different denominations. There are so many different sects and every single sect has a different ideology. My mind was confused. I didn’t know what was right and what was wrong.

It was not the only religion made subject to sectarianism. The same thing was done to Christianity and Judaism. This all happened when spirituality was denied in those religions.

When spirituality is forgotten and you are deprived of the only knowledge which can connect you with God, you become a godless man.

When you become a godless man, you lack empathy and compassion. In place of love you, develop hatred. In place of forbearance, you develop an intolerance. You cannot coexist with others. That is the ‘gift’ of having a lack of spiritual knowledge.

We are living in a very, very strange world where everything is upside down. We have been diversified into different nations. We are known by the colour of our skin. What a pity! We are known by our races. What a pity.

The soul doesn’t have a colour. The soul doesn’t have a race. The only colour the soul will have is the colour of love.

The element of unification is inside our hearts and souls. We are divided simply because our hearts and souls are not awakened and enlightened.

The element of unification is not sinking into our character because the source of unification is dormant.

The soul is not enlightened or awakened.

Every word of the Quran, Bible, Torah and Talmud is very powerful.  But today, we don’t see that power.

If you have pain, you take painkillers. You take two tablets of Panadol and anticipate the pain to disappear within 30 minutes. What if the pain doesn’t go away? Will you keep taking the same tablets? No. You will wonder why the tablets are not working.

Suppose you have been following and practising your religion for 10-20 years and you still hate people, lack empathy and are cruel. In that case, you have to ask yourself: what happened to your religious practice – your constant repetition of God’s name? How can you claim to love God while you still hate God’s create and live a fraudulent lifestyle?

Don’t you anticipate the pain will go when you take two Panadol tablets? Yes, you do. Then why don’t you anticipate love will arrive when you practise a religion?

We practise a religion today, not because we know why we should need a religion, but because we seemed to inherit the religion from our parents. We should ask ourselves, ‘What benefits will I reap out of following this religion, why should I practise it?’

If you don’t know why you practise a religion then it’s very pitiful. This is exactly what’s happening today. You need religion to reach God. You need religion to open your heart. You need religion to get rid of the evil presence in your body. You need religion to connect with God.

If the practice of religion doesn’t help you connect with God, then you are better off without having any religion at all.

But I’m also telling you why religious people are hateful people these days. Why religions have become monsters. This is because the knowledge of spirituality, which is responsible for connection with God, is absent in the church, mosque, synagogue and Hindu temple. If that knowledge which connects you with God is introduced again – and with the power of spirituality, once again you feel connected with God, I’m sure you will be proud of who you are.

Lord Jesus Christ said, ‘I am the way to God’.

Similar things were said by all the messengers. The main purpose of adopting a religion is to make that religion a bridge between you and God so that you may become a Godly person.

When you eat an orange or banana, you peel off the outer peel first. Similarly, the outer practice of religion is its outer skin; and inside is spirituality.

I have come here to tell you that today that we have a new form of Sufism: Sufism without a religion. Direct contact with God through spiritual means: Neo Sufism.

In order to feel and be connected with God, the true gateway is the heart.

There is a dedicated soul sitting dormant on the physical heart. It is responsible for connection with God. A true Sufi is one who has the authority and ability to enlighten and awaken it. Every single human being has this soul in their breast.

Some people have their souls enlightened. They are the people who show compassion, empathy and love. They want unification. They do not hate anybody; they embrace everybody.

Why are some people like that – while others talking about division and hatred? Those who talk about compassion, empathy, love and forbearance are those who manifest the divine characteristics in their character. Their hearts and souls are enlightened. Those who promote hatred, who like divisions, are those who have been deprived of the activation and the enlightenment of the soul. As a result, the divine characteristic do not manifest in them.

This soul, upon its enlightenment and awakening, will not only repeat God’s name constantly (even when you are sleeping), but this will also produce divine energy. It will then mingle in your bloodstream and reach every nook and cranny of your body. It will purify, energise and illuminate your entire body.

Once this happens, all the attributes and characteristics of God will manifest in your heart. You will have an enormous amount of compassion for everybody.

God equally blesses those who believe in him and those who do not believe in him. A Sufi is the same; whether you praise him or swear at him, he doesn’t hurt or harm anybody. You will reap the benefits of his presence, whether you like it or dismiss it.

So I’m here today – not just to tell you that there is a soul sitting on your heart and it is dormant – but also to tell you that I have some people with me who have been delegated to awaken that soul. This is not my business. I’m not going to charge anything. There is no commitment here.

This is a simple message of love: a message of unification, of finding God again. It is about the purification of the heart and elimination of negativity and all evil from our character. This will happen when that dormant soul on the heart is awakened. I’m telling you today that we have the method. I am not just talking about the disease, I’m also giving you the medicine.

I’m not asking you to adopt any religion. If you are a Christian, remain to be a Christian. If you are a Jew remain to be a Jew. If you are a Hindu or a Sikh, remain to be a Hindu or Sikh. Everybody is right, but what is missing in everybody’s life and religion is spirituality. So I am just here to talk everybody up with spiritual knowledge: to fill the gap and to fill the hearts with the divine energy.

A Hindu needs to be a good Hindu. A Sikh needs to be a good Sikh. A Muslim needs to be a good Muslim. A Christian and a Catholic need to be a good Christian and Catholic.

All of these religions are good. However, today, religions are sick. They need medicine: the medicine of spirituality.

Spirituality is more important than religions because our reality is not our body. Before we were born into this world, we did not have this physical body. After our departure from this world, we will not have this body. It is only with us for a brief period of time. Our reality is our soul.

Isn’t it foolish to just concentrate on our body? To make our body say ‘Allah’, ‘Ram’, ‘Jesus’, ‘Moses’ or ‘Abraham’ while our souls are kept in the dark? When we have done our time in this world, we return to the higher realms and we are asked who we are but our souls are dormant. It is our souls that need to be awakened and need to take God’s name.

My religion is love and humanity. I love all and I want all to love all. I know this is difficult, but this difficulty can be removed if you embrace spirituality. We need to learn to love.

Love is a big word. Love is not easy. You need to make a lot of sacrifices for love to survive.

When we make sacrifices for love to stay, we are troubled. When we are troubled and tested, we grow tired; then we gain our strength from our heart.

There is a constant battle between the mind and the heart; intellect and love. Whatever in you is stronger will win the race. Let’s make our heart stronger so that love finally wins.

QUESTION: There are some major dark forces that have hijacked this planet and are taking control of every system here. What do you say about that?

There are so many dark forces. So we need to become part of the light forces. Only then we can combat darkness. The more hearts are enlightened, the bigger the force [of light] will become. We will only be unified and united when our hearts are united. When our hearts have this divine energy then we will not see any difference between each other. Otherwise, if you keep sitting idle, and we do not become part of the love forces – then obviously, the dark forces will take over one day completely.

We have to do something practical. What you can do today is take one step towards becoming part of the light forces – the forces of love – by initiating your heart. Let your heart be introduced to divine energy, divine light, divinity. Become part of this love force, enlighten the heart.

You have that spark of love in every heart. All you need to do is light it up. Kindle it today with the Activation of the Heart.

It has always been prominent and stronger than the positive forces. Negativity is all around us. Even though we have this potential, we are not inclined towards becoming part of the love force; we will embrace love only when our hearts are enlightened. Without the enlightenment of the heart, without finding a source of energy, we will always be spiritually sick and weak.

Today we are afraid of the dark energies because we do not have light in our hearts. When we have light in our heart and we are connected with God, we will develop confidence. No matter how strong the dark forces are, we will win. We will keep lighting the flame of love in all the hearts. We have to hurry, and light up the flame of love in all hearts one by one – until we see the entire universe is lit up with the flame of love. We only recognise love, we do not look at each others colour of skin, races, and nationalities. The bond of love is in the heart.

Love will anchor in the heart, not outside the heart.

No matter how many times we say the name of God with the tip of our tongue, it’s not going to help us. The only time God’s name will help us is when God’s name is inserted in our heart.

This is what the Bible said, ‘Love your lord, love your God, with all your heart, with all your soul’. Luke 10:27

We read it every day, but we don’t understand it. We don’t know how to love the Lord with the heart and the soul. We take it for granted that we love God in our hearts, even though the hearts don’t know anything. This is where we make a mistake.

If the heart is supposed to love God, then we should know how the heart should love God. Do you think in the Bible God asked you to love him? No, he’s asking your hearts and souls to love him. Our souls are in some kind of wilderness of ignorance and dormancy while our bodies are active. This is why we claim we love God, even when our body is engaged in hatred.

We need to kindle the flame of love in the heart.

That’s the most important thing.

QUESTION: What techniques do we use to kindle the heart?

It is a spiritual transmission. On this physical heart, there is a soul, the Spiritual Heart, that is especially dedicated to communication with God. What we do is transmit divine energy spiritually.

For a mobile phone, we need two things: a connection and power. If the phone is not charged, we cannot use it. If it has no service, we cannot make calls. Similarly, for the Spiritual Heart, we need a service provider who will connect the heart with God, and we need to keep our heart fully charged and energised. Messengers like Jesus, Moses and Abraham were like connection providers. The power in the heart comes by repeating God’s name.

There is a system provided by God, and that is the basis in Sufism: the remembrance of God, glorifying God. When we repeat Gods name inside the heart, it generates divine energy. It charges up the heart and then, with the connection, we communicate with God. Whatever we have in our hearts – all our ideas, thoughts, everything – through the heart, will reach God. God will reply and his replies will come onto the screen of our hearts. This is how we will receive messages from God.

The Shrine of Holy Wisdom – Tempe Arizona

The Shrine of Holy Wisdom – Tempe Arizona

The following is the transcript of Sufi Spiritual Revivalist Younus AlGohar’s speech at the Shrine of Holy Wisdom in Tempe, Arizona.

I feel ecstatic to be here with all of you today, who are sitting in the Shrine of Holy Wisdom. That’s is really wonderful and let’s try and discover yet another Shrine of Wisdom within ourselves. Because we have been equipped divinely to hold and preserve an eternal shrine of wisdom and each one of us has that potential. The Shrine Of Wisdom that we carry within our own being is the Spiritual Heart.

When the physical heart has been spiritualised, energised, awakened, enlightened and the divine energies and the divine light has been restored in the heart, it turns into a Shrine Of Holy Wisdom.

Only God is wise. When God is there everything that has to do with God also arrives in that place. The heart becomes an eternal abode of God in the body and you become an embodiment of divinity. In this day and age, where the signs have been working miracles and we’re all reaping the benefits of this scientific technology, I wonder how people still do not believe in Spiritual Sciences.

Sufism is the path of love, the path of revival. And it has nothing to do with any particular religion. Sufism is a way which starts within ourselves and culminates within ourselves. Sufism is for everybody, everyone, those aspirants who want to find God, love God and become a mouthpiece of God. It is so wonderful to see how many different types of tribes and nations have been created by God.

In the very beginning, human beings were all one nation and then with the passage of time when different religions were introduced by God, we were dispersed into many tribes and nations. Some of the human beings who were able to differentiate between tribes and nations, also they were able to know the purpose of these tribes and different nations, took this difference as an identity. Those who did not have spiritual authority and power misinterpreted it and they generated hatred out of this difference.

With the help of Sufism, we can once again find unification. Leaving behind the colours of our skin, and finally, the initial purpose of God which is to love and to be loved. God created man in his own image. God did not mention skin colour. Brown, black white they’re all God’s images, different images.

There is no colour of the soul, there is no colour of love.

This is what we want to understand, but the problem is with all the religious books that we have in our hands today in different places of worship. Muslim mosques, Christian Churches, Jewish Synagogues, Hindu and Sikh Temples. In different places of worship. The knowledge we have in those books doesn’t really spiritually guide us towards spiritual unification. It tells us, that only you are right. A Hindu thinks only he is right, a Muslim thinks only he is right, maybe a Jew will think only he is right. But my Master said ‘No, you are all right if you are connected with God, you are all right, whomever you are’. Through whichever Messenger or Prophet, you get connected to God. It doesn’t really matter, because religion is not the destiny, it’s just a path.

Your destiny and my destiny, and everybody else’s destiny is God and Divine Love.

Spirituality is such a fascinating word, but then I don’t think there is anything that hasn’t been misinterpreted in this world. Love has been misinterpreted. Religions altered, adulterated, fabricated and now even spirituality also hasn’t assumed to the wounds given to it by perpetrators within the religion. Let me remind you, spirituality is to do with spirits. Even in this Holy Chapel today, there are many angels and spirits, some of which are ready to bless us and some others need to be blessed. But are we spiritual enough to witness their presence? No, although we all have souls and spirits in our body. What are our souls and spirits doing? Why our souls cannot see other souls in the same place? Why the spirits in our body are not able to see other spirits which are present at this moment in time? In the wilderness of ignorance, with a blindfold on our eyes and intellect, we tell ourselves to believe even what we cannot see, but then when it comes to seeing the other souls and other spirits, which we believe are present, and we cannot see them it only tells us that either our souls are dormant. They are not awakened, or we don’t have enough spiritual knowledge.

With spiritual knowledge, the souls and spirits become able to communicate with other souls and other spirits.

A Sufi loves all. All religions. Even those who do not believe in any religion, because a Sufi sees all as one creation of God. Divinely he is programmed not to discriminate among different creations of God, and as a Sufi, I have come here to share my knowledge, energies with you and to render to you what I can. And also, to take benefits of spirituality that you practice. It’s like a give and takes. I’ll take with me some of your energies and I’ll give you some of my energies so that it becomes an infused spirituality.

Obviously, you must know some western kind of spirituality and I come from the east where we have our own brand of spirituality. Any type of spirituality is good as long as it is able to revive the souls and awaken them. A guy asked me a question: if there is no spirituality you shouldn’t be able to communicate with other souls and spirits in the spiritual realm, why do people that are not spiritual tend to hate others? That’s a very good question, and the answer is even greater than the question.

The problem is only with the help of spirituality we are able to revive the souls which are responsible for generating love in our body, and without spiritual knowledge, we cannot tame one particular negative soul in our body which, if not tamed, will produce hatred and that is our Lower Self. So in order to make sure that the element of hatred and negativity is removed, eliminated from our character, we need to purify the only one soul, which is responsible for all negativity and is the root of all evil and that is our Nafs (Lower Self) according to Jewish kabbalah. Does the Lower Self, that’s here in the belly button, behind the belly button. Only with the help of spirituality we tame it, we purify it and when it is purified, peace is restored and we don’t hate anybody. In order to avoid hatred, we must be able to tame and to purify this negative soul in our body.

In order to learn to love human beings, unify with human beings and love God, we need to revive and awaken the soul of the heart.

The revival of the soul of the heart is a mystery. There have been many different ways through, which in history people have been reviving and awakening their hearts. There have been different ways. Sometimes an aspiring heart needs to follow a very strict discipline. After only a very strict discipline he or she is able to awaken the heart. Some other times he or she is fortunate enough to find a Spiritual Master and those who find Spiritual Master, their Spiritual Master has done it for them, without them making any effort. This has been the course historically in spirituality from the east, Sufism.

Today we are happy to tell you that our master Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi has delegated us to open your heart, to enlighten the heart, to awaken the heart without you needing to make any effort. And this is to do with servitude, this is a labour of love. In order to unify the entire humanity, we are serving humanity with this knowledge of Spirituality and Sufism. So that we all are able to awaken our lost spiritual senses of the heart and soul, and once again we are unified and we only recognise love and we all become wise.

We will all become wise when the wisdom is restored in our hearts.

Wisdom is not obtained by reading books, whether the book has been written by a man of God. Wisdom is only acquired when the heart becomes the domicile of God. When the heart is connected with God through Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Prophet Mohammad, anyone. The heart must be connected to God. Only then your heart will become a Shrine of Holy Wisdom.

Man and woman, they are nothing but houses of God. We are houses of God, but we need to house God. You’re a house of God but when God enters your heart it will become God’s home. A building, a room or a house without people is a house, but when you live there it becomes home. When God is in your heart you become home to God. And this is what we need today, rather than discriminating and hating each other. We need to revive our God gifted potential with which we can find God again, become Holy again. Each one of you has this potential that you can house God in you. You can turn your heart into the Divine Temple.

When God is in your heart, God will not fall asleep in your heart, he will become very active, and how does God become active when God is inside you? God will take control of your hands with which you will make use of your hands. God will take control of your eyes and then God will peep through your eyes, he will look at people, but it is God who is looking at people through your eyes. God will take control of your tongue, on occasions the time will come when you will speak but the words will not be from you, the words will come from God. You will become a mouthpiece of God. And the time will come with the help of spirituality where God will take control of your inner and outer, and you will become a complete embodiment of God on earth. That is the type of knowledge we profess and share to you.

Question: How do we identify the right timing for spiritual action, if our heart is guiding us for planetary liberation for the integration of star knowledge, for the timing was not correct at some point, it was to accelerate, to fast. The timing of a supernova on earth of light?

Actually all the souls in our bodies and this universe, this cosmos that we are living in, our planet Earth and then out neighbouring planets. All these planets, all these galaxies, milky ways they all come under cosmos number one. And then we have yet another universe and then yet another universe. We have 7 universes. Most probably the timing that you are seeking to know is to do with this particular universe that we are present right now with our bodies, that will come right when the soul responsible for reaching out to different planets of this universe, becomes spiritually available.

And that is our Lower Self. We need to purify our Lower Self when the Lower Self is purified. After the purification of the Lower Self, it needs coordination with our minds, eyes and with our intellect. When it is well coordinated with all five senses, then you will have the right time. This is when the timing becomes perfect. When the Lower Self is purified and it is coordinated with all other senses.

Question: There is a driving force when inviting spirits to reveal the secrets of magnetism, light, frequency and geology and crystal energies. And the driving force inside of us becomes a challenge at points, through knowing when to unfold those secrets as action, as technology, as solutions. Where there is great opposition to it. But I see that some things have changed now?

In crystals, in all other objects. All these crystals, you have more energy in your body, in your bones, than the crystals. But in order to have that driving energy, that driving force, we need to enlighten these souls in our bodies. In order to obtain expertise and mastery, over crystals and all other objects and the driving force, which of course is moving all these energies around. We need to enlighten our Mineral Soul, which holds life in stones, mountains, crystals and all these things. And then the Botanical Soul which holds life in trees. And Animal Souls, which holds life in all the animals. We also have all these three souls. When we have the expertise of all these three souls, then you are in the driving seat and you have expertise and mastery over the driving force of the world.

The Spiritual Sciences – Leaders in Action for Global Transformation

The Spiritual Sciences – Leaders in Action for Global Transformation

The following is the transcript of Sufi Spiritual Revivalist Younus AlGohar’s speech at the NUWTC’s ‘Leaders in Action for Global Transformation’ symposium in Phoenix Arizona.

I’m here to share my thoughts, my energies, and some divine spiritual philosophies from the East. There are spiritual philosophies from the West and then we have our own brand of spirituality which may be slightly different, but we can benefit from both. Today I will be sharing with you the spiritual sciences with the help of which we may be able to awaken our spiritual subtleties in the body.

We believe there are seven different souls inside our body.

For a long time, as a student, I used to think there is only one soul in the body. One day, I met with a boy who was not able to speak; his parents took him everywhere [to get cured] but his power of speech was never restored. Then we went to see a Spiritual Master.

The Spiritual Master said, ‘The soul which is responsible for sustaining the power of the speech in the body is defective.’

Then I came to know that there are more souls in the body that just one.

In the East, there are a lot of people who exemplify Sufism. They have their own ways and culture; most of the time, spirituality is mixed with the culture. That is why it becomes difficult for everybody to embrace it. For example, in India, we have a different brand of spirituality. Gandhi used to be known as a ‘half-naked fakir’ because this was his spiritual attire. Then we have Hindu spirituality and Muslim spirituality.

The majority of people who are interested in spirituality in the West are aware of Rumi. He always spoke about love and the beloved and how to live your life with all the blossoms of love and harmony.

When I met my Spiritual Master, he made a cocktail. He took bits and pieces from all different cultures and came out with a brand new spirituality. This was so everybody is able to embrace it and reap the spiritual benefits and grace out of it.

Religions Have Lost Their Glory

A lot of people today have become wary of religion, God and Jesus. I understand this is not because they have any grudge or personal vendetta against God or Jesus Christ. This is a pretty natural phenomenon. [This happens when] you practise religion for many, many years, and you do not get anything from that practice. Rather, you feel like you have been caged with different philosophies and you find very little space to manoeuvre your own life. You are told that the things you want to do to enjoy your life are sins and that you cannot do it.

On the one hand, people are not getting anything out of the practice of the religion, so they become non-recipients of any spiritual grace that may be rendered by the practice of that religion. On the other hand, they are caged by different laws – societal and religious laws – [telling them] ‘you cannot do this, you cannot do that’. They become wary of this concept of sin.

People call upon God when they need help and God doesn’t reply. Then one day they lose hope. We call upon Jesus to help and Jesus doesn’t help, so we lose hope. When religions do not do anything good to improve the quality of our life, we become wary of these religions. And sometimes religions become monsters.

The ideology of religion can be adulterated in a way that it becomes a monster.

Sometimes religions have a very limited perimeter for us to manoeuvre. Sometimes, we see that religions are creating divisions and problems rather than assessing our spiritual needs and necessities. Bearing all this in mind, we tell ourselves, ‘I am better off without religion.’ This has been a trend for the past 100 years now.

People in the West have shunned the practice of religion, but where I come from in the East, people have a blindfold. They don’t get anything out of the practice of their religion but still, they are clung to that practice.

Some of them are given radicalised views. They are told, ‘Do you want to go to paradise? Wear a jacket full of bombs, blow up somewhere and let 100-200 people blow up with you. This will be a gateway for you to enter paradise and 72 virgin damsels are waiting for you.’

This is terrorism. But terrorism is just a branch of a monstrous religion when the religion loses its glory, meaning, spiritual power and regime. When spirituality is missing from religion, then that religion becomes a monster.

When we call upon Jesus and Jesus doesn’t attend to our call [multiple times], we will have a very bad and negative conjecture about Jesus. We will think, ‘Jesus is just a character from mythology because when we need him, he doesn’t reply, he doesn’t help.’

In order to know the truth, you have to adopt spirituality. We heard it on the grapevine that there is somebody and he lives somewhere above the skies. We heard about it, but seeing is believing.

When we go to the mosques, churches and synagogues, we are told to believe in what we cannot see and sustain that belief. Sustaining that belief is known as faith. Even if he doesn’t ever help you, we have to have faith. Now this slogan is fading away. We are living in the 21st century.

We have all the luxuries and comforts of life – we can make it rain, we can reach Mars, we have been to the Moon, we can fiddle with human genes, we can know in advance what diseases a baby will have by studying the gene – we are so advanced so do we need God now? Do we need Jesus? If we need Jesus, why do we need him? Is he going to buy us a mobile phone or improve the quality of our internet?

We cannot deny the existence of God. The proof is our own self. Somebody must have created us. Our existence cannot be a coincidence.

The problem is the messengers and the great spiritual masters who would teach us how to spiritualise our life, how to enlighten and awaken our souls and then find the spiritual proximity with God – those masters are here no more. What we have are just orators who tell us stories, ‘When Jesus came this happened, when Prophet Muhammad came that happened.’

We talk about the miracles – things which our intellect cannot even perceive. We keep reading these far fetched stories. We are bemused by the study of the miracles which took place in remote history.

But this is what it is. This is the story is every religion. If you go to a church, they will tell you stories of Christian saints, Lord Jesus Christ and Mother Mary – but why don’t we see those miracles working today in our age? We have stories from the era of Moses in which God would send food from above the skies. We have stories on the era of Abraham and Adam. But we do not see these things anymore. This is why we do not relate to Lord Jesus Christ. This is why we do not relate to the miracles worked by Jesus in history – because we do not see them today.

When you go to church, you [will be] just thinking about God but you are told that you are speaking with God. So many different things have been added to the academic side of religion which never existed. Everything has been glamorised.

Often times we talk about meditation, well the very word ‘meditate’ means ‘to think deeply’. Do we have to learn how to meditate? We already know how to think deeply.

True meditation is a transcendental spiritual journey. This happens when the souls are enlightened, energised and have been localised with divinity.

As a Muslim, I was told, ‘On the Night of the Ascension, Prophet Mohammad physically flew from his bed. He went to Jerusalem and he went up to the sky. Physically, he went to see God.’

It’s difficult isn’t it, to relate to all this? Because we have never seen such things happen in front of our eyes. Our intellect only accepts things that we can see and experience. What we cannot see or experience doesn’t really fit in our head.

We say, ‘Yes, okay. I must believe because this is my religion, so it must have happened.’

But we cannot relate to such things. All these different beautiful people, like Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, they all went. And we are just living in the wilderness of ignorance.

Today I have come here to tell you that we have found the truth. What Adam, Abraham, Moses and Jesus said was right. What Jesus did was right and what Mohammad said was right.

We do not know the right knowledge and we do not know the whereabouts of divinity – this is why we are left in a lurch. We have no clue how to love God.

The Heart is the Place of Love

And love is the most misinterpreted and misunderstood word. You will meet a man one day, fall in love and after some time, you will find out that he was sleeping around. So, where is the love? That’s not loving, is it? We have assumed that if we take care of somebody, we actually love them. But what about nursing homes where nurses take care of the elderly people and get paid for that care? That’s not loving.

It’s funny. We always enjoy it when we hate somebody – but we don’t get to enjoy it when we love somebody. We have to sacrifice a lot in order to keep that love alive. You have to admit: love always demands a lot of sacrifices. How much will you sacrifice in the name of love? There is a limit. One day, finally when you see that you are left with nothing, you let go of this [so-called] love.

Love is a substance. Love is divine. The place of love is the Spiritual Heart.

My mobile phone doesn’t work without power and connection. In a similar way, this Spiritual Heart has very profound potential. When it is revived, awakened, spiritualised and energised, this will work with divine energy. When it is energised with divine energy, it starts to show off its spiritual functionality. This heart works like a mirror.

Rumi said, ‘If you polish your heart, which is like a mirror, then anyone who comes in front of your heart will reflect in your heart.’

And my Master [HDE Gohar Shahi] said, ‘When the heart is awakened and enlightened, this will be our tool of communication with God, with Jesus.’

I didn’t believe it until I found it.

I’m not a very religious man. I used to play cricket in college (I still do), but then one day I was totally fed up with religions. I was a very religious boy; because at a very young age, my father used to tell me, ‘You have to go to the mosque every day, five times a day, or you will go to hell.’

So, as a child, I had this fear instilled in my heart that I must go the mosque five times a day or else I would go to hell.

Then one day, when I went to the mosque, the Muslim priest was telling us a story of Prophet Muhammad.

He said that Prophet Mohammad said, ‘If you take a shower five times a day, will there be any dirt on your body? No. So going to the mosque five times a day is very similar to taking a shower five times a day. When you go to the mosque five times a day, there will be no sin on you. There will be no dirt on your heart.’

I did it for years and years but I still found there was dirt in me, I still had my crooked ways. I felt I was still bad inside my heart. I felt I still wanted to deprive others of their possessions if I didn’t have them. That was really alarming. I was asking myself the question, ‘Was what I was told really right?’

These practices of religion appear to be so important and essential but without spirituality, no religion will work any good on any of you or me. Because spirituality is the soul of religion.

Spirituality is greater than any religion. If you have adopted spirituality, then you do not need any religion.

Celestial Spirituality

Spirituality is all about enlightening and awakening souls. Some people in the East said that yoga was a spiritual practice and I was really confused.

I asked my Master, ‘Is yoga a spiritual practice?’

My Master said, ‘Why do you ask?’

I said, ‘Because I don’t see any soul getting involved in the practice of yoga. We are just stretching our body – are we stretching our souls as well?’

And my Master said ‘No, no. Yoga is good for the body and mind, but the enlightenment of the soul is a different ball game.’

I said, ‘What is spirituality then?’

I did a masters degree in Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry, so I was very argumentative at times. I used to think the function of the soul is to sustain life in the body, that’s all.

But my Master told me, ‘No, no, no. There are two different sets of souls: celestial souls and terrestrial souls. We share terrestrial souls with animals and all other different kinds of creatures, like stones, trees and animals.’

We share the same types of souls with all these living objects. The stone and mountains have the mineral soul. The trees have the mineral soul plus botanical soul. The animals have [the mineral and botanical soul as well as] the animal spirit.

If we only have the same amount of souls as animals do, then why do we have intellect? Why do we speak and animals do not speak? We have some different souls in human beings because if we [only] have the same souls that animals, trees and stones do, then why don’t they speak or have the [same level of intellect as us]? Well, there is always room for argument. You can say ‘They are intelligent,’ but no animal was a scientist.

We have something superior given to us by God in comparison to what has been given to the animals. The additional thing we have in us as human beings is a set of celestial souls. When it comes to sustaining life in the body, we have similar amounts of souls that the animals do: the botanical spirit, mineral spirit and animal spirit. We have all these souls too in our body. These three terrestrial spirits are responsible for the growth and for sustaining life in our body.

But the set of celestial souls that have only been given to human beings – their function is different.

It was so fascinating when Jesus said, ‘God created man in his own image.’

Ever since I read this I thought, ‘I am like God because God created man in his own image. If I have fingers, God must have fingers. If God didn’t have fingers, I wouldn’t have them. God must walk the same way that we walk because God created man in his own image.’

That was really fascinating. I said to my Master, ‘[If] God created man in his own image, then why do we need any religion? We are God’s image already.’

Then my Master said, ‘God created you and everybody else in his own image, but you need his character now.’

We don’t behave like God. What was missing is God’s character. God is oftentimes forgiving. God is love. God is full of compassion and empathy.

A lot of people are losing their grip on empathy, sympathy and compassion these days. This is not because they have shunned the practice of the religion; this is because the divine characteristics in us are diminishing day by day because we have stopped the practice of spirituality.

In order to behave and live like God, God has given us a set of celestial souls: five in our breast and one lies in our head (the Third Eye). When the [soul in the head] is awakened and enlightened, then we are able to see God. We are able to see Jesus, Abraham and Moses – all these great personalities were the wonderful teachers of spirituality.

When I met my Master, I was exposed to naked spirituality in which your heart and all the spirits are awakened and enlightened, and with them, you make spiritual journeys. You think about making a spiritual journey and they come out of your body. You will be sitting in your chair and they come out of your body. They look like you and they take the shape of your body.

One day Rumi went to the mosque and he was praying. His Master came and said, ‘You are praying alone. Where is all of you gone?’

Rumi said, ‘What? Where is all of me gone?’

‘You are not just one, you are many.’

He was really intrigued by this knowledge. ‘What? Am I many? I just know myself.’

When he was exposed to the spiritual sciences, he was told that there are seven souls inside his body and yet another nine different souls are given birth by these seven souls [to make a total of] sixteen. With spiritual nourishment and spiritual practice, all these souls – one after the other – develop this ability to come out and make journeys.

Then one day, Rumi went to the mosque again after 15-20 years and he was in the prayer. His Master came and he said, ‘Now you are many.’

He said, ‘how?’ and he saw that there were 16 men like him standing behind him.

If one of your souls was nurtured and fully grown when you were 20 – and it came out – then that soul will stay, forever, 20.

So, you have these souls in you. Then when you have attained this spiritual status, then you think about God, ‘Where is God?’

Then one of the souls will leave your body. You will be sitting in your chair or in meditation and one of the souls will leave your body and see God. These souls will reach God and access God. These souls will access Jesus. These souls will change our lives and our lifestyle.

Acknowledging the Divine Presence – Lama Foundation

Acknowledging the Divine Presence – Lama Foundation

The following is a transcript of Sufi Spiritual Revivalist Younus AlGohar’s discussion with residents of the Lama Foundation in Taos, New Mexico.

I’m very happy spiritually to see all of you turning your faces away from the luxuries of the world and living here in a spiritual retreat. Obviously, that endorses the fact that you are in search for the divine. This effort you are making of shunning the world, turning away from the desires of the world and making this remote area as your abode, is something which can only be a gift from God to you. Not many people who seek the path are able to do what you are doing.

When we live in luxury and comfort, we become accustomed to it. It is very hard to then take your hands off that luxury and comfort.

We are Sufis. My Master Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi was here in 1997, 22 years ago. In the same hall, sitting in the middle on the armchair, supervising the Sufi Zikar. This is what brought me back here – to share my Sufi thoughts with brothers and sisters like you here.

I was always inspired by Murshid Sam Lewis who said, ‘The Sun will rise from the West.’

It is remarkable to see how people in the United States of America are turning away from the luxurious and glamorous lifestyle and living here. This is an absolutely impeccable Sufi practice and it is wonderful to see how dedicated you are. What you are doing today – living away from the charms of the world and negating yourself – that is the first lesson in spirituality.

In the Sufi path, the most important things are purgation and purification of the Lower Self (Nafs) – which is the root of all evil – and at the same time, Activation of the Spiritual Heart. It is the Spiritual Heart which actually lets us connect with God. With the Activation of the Spiritual Heart, we are able to communicate with God and receive messages from God. The first step towards the spiritual journey is the awakening of the Spiritual Heart. This is the threshold of sainthood.

When I say, ‘The heart must be awakened,’ it means the spiritual functions of the heart must be restored. The spiritual consciousness of the heart has to be obtained. That, of course, comes with the help and teachings of the Spiritual Guide. A Spiritual Guide is delegated by God to implant the seed of love in the hearts and souls.

Rumi said, ‘Your heart is like a mirror, you just need to polish your heart. When your heart is polished, anyone that comes in front of it will reflect in it.’

So finding God has been made really easy by our great Sufis. [We have to] polish our hearts and bring an eternal shine upon the screen of the heart. When the heart is perfectly polished, then the divine manifestation takes place.

The heart is always covered with a lot of layers of heedlessness, worldly desires, lust and many other things. When you are courageous enough to part with the comfort of the luxury, you’re already half a saint.

This is why Prophet Mohammad said, ‘Cleanliness is half of the faith.’

When the body is dirty, we wash it with water and apply soap. When the hearts are dirty, that dirt is of heedlessness, desires and comforts [of the world].

I would like to salute the determination of the individuals who are already living like hermits. They’re really courageous people. Once you become accustomed to the luxuries and comforts of the world, it’s a trap. It’s not easy to come out from the customary luxury and comfort.

Half of the job is already done when you are living in such remote places.

Now what you need is to learn to polish the heart. When the heart is polished, you don’t need to find God. With a polished heart, wherever God is, he will show up in the mirror of your heart. In order to polish the heart, what we need is eternal remembrance of God which is conducted by the heart itself.

According to the Koran 13:28, ‘You will find content in Zikar Allah (in the remembrance of God)’.

Those who are not Sufis often misunderstand this verse from the Koran and they carry out the Zikar (invocation0 with their tongue. It is to do with the heart.

The Sufi path starts with the Activation of the Heart.

Mevlana Rumi said, ‘If the heart is polished and Zikar Allah is established therein, then your heart is like the house of God (Bait ul Rab). Your heart is the Divine Empyrean.’

To bring God in the heart is very important in spirituality.

Most people think that bringing God in the heart is just a metaphor. How will God come in the heart? We don’t know where God is. Well, we don’t know where God is, but Murshid Sam Lewis knows where he is. My Spiritual Guide, HDE Gohar Shahi, knows where he is.

They tell us, ‘Before we are able to bring God in our hearts, we need God’s permission – whether or not God likes us. Whether or not we are worthy of his friendship. Whether or not we are worthy of his love.’

It is the Spiritual Guide who communicates with God, presents his disciple and asks God if he wishes to love this disciple.

God’s name that we say with our tongue is just a word. But when it is granted by God himself, through a Spiritual Guide, then that word has divine energy, light and a spirit. That name of God can talk and walk. It is then implanted in the throbs of the heart and then the divine chemistry starts to work. Articulation of the name of God starts with the synchronisation of the name in the beating system of the heart.

When it is implanted, you have your heart remembering God nonstop – whether you are sleeping, talking to somebody else [or] engaged in any other activity. Even if you are not thinking about God or making any effort to remember him – when the word God, Ram, Allah [or] Bhagwan is implanted in the heart, the heart learns to say the name of the God. Ram, Bhagwan, Elohim, Yahweh are all beautiful names of God. Some people are more prone to word Allah; others want to say Yahweh and the others want to say Elohim. Whichever name of God you have in your language and in your religion, it doesn’t really matter.

What matters is that the name of God must enter the heart because the heart is the place of love. Love is not a verbal claim.

You people – such wonderful, beautiful people you are. You have left behind all the luxuries. This is a practical example that you have that spark of divine love in your heart. You have that spark. All you need to do is to kindle and give rise to the flame of love inside the heart.

In no time, you will recognise the presence of God within yourself. Nothing is outside of yourself.

God said, ‘I am within you, but you do not know how to see me’.

So we need to learn to acknowledge God’s presence. We need to learn to have this ability with which we can spot the presence of God. All Sufis may be sitting quietly and people think they are saying nothing – but their heart is engaged in the remembrance of God. When the heart is activated and it is engaged in the eternal remembrance of God, then we turn to the soul and we activate the soul as well.

There are seven souls inside our body. Each of them must be awakened and activated with the name of God. There are so many names of God. According to the Koran, there are 99 names of God. Then we have different names in the Bible, Torah and Psalms of David.

All names which we use to call upon God are worthy of great respect. However, in order to obtain the spiritual grace of the remembrance of God, we want to make sure that Zikar enters the heart.

If you try to eat food but your lips are sealed off, do you think the hunger will go away? No. If you put the food in your nose, your eyes and your ears, you will still be hungry because the food must go through your mouth to enter your stomach. If the food doesn’t enter the stomach, it is not going to benefit you. In a similar way, the remembrance of God must enter the heart. Only then will it show it’s exuberance, magnificence and it’s a manifestation.

Today we are very happy to tell you that we have been delegated to share the method of implanting the name of God in your heart. It is so romantic! You will just be sitting but your heart will be repeating ‘Allah’. Even when you are not thinking about him, your heart will be pounding his name.

This practice, in which your heart engages in eternal remembrance of God – there is a purpose for it. It’s not just a form of worship.

There’s a reason we eat. Some people eat because they want to enjoy their food, others eat so that they can stay alive and continue their spiritual journey. If we do not eat, we cannot survive.

Similarly, this eternal remembrance of God is divine food to your heart and soul. When this eternal remembrance takes place in the heart and God’s name is synchronised; the heartbeats repeat the word ‘God’ one after another which generates divine light. That divine light is food to our heart and soul.

Then starts the process of spiritual progression. We eat food physically so that our body is well. But for the heart and for the souls, we also need food. They are ethereal beings, their food is divine light.

All of us have energy in us and we benefit from each other’s energy, but divine light is different. Divine light is something that our heart and soul will live on. Our heart and soul will be nurtured with divine light. That divine light will come from the remembrance of God when it is conducted in the heart.

There is a lot to say about Sufism and a lot to discuss spirituality. But the most important thing in a Sufi’s life is that his/her souls are energised and spiritualised in a way that, even if you are sleeping, your real you are awake.

Sultan Haq Bahu said, ‘Some people are awake and they are engaged in worship but in the eyes of God, they are sleeping’.

Although they appear to be awake and are engaged in worship, in the eyes of God they are heedless.

Why? Because it is not your body that God looks at, it is your heart that God looks at. But your heart is not engaged in God’s remembrance, only your body is. Some peoples’ hearts are engaged in God’s remembrance and they are sleeping – but in the eyes of God, they are awake because their hearts are awake.

This is the threshold of a Sufi, that he or she is able to engage in God’s remembrance in such a way that he or she doesn’t have to make any physical efforts. Even if you make physical efforts, what will happen when you fall asleep?

Sultan Haq Bahu said, ‘A lover is never heedless of the beloved.’

When we fall asleep,  we are heedless of everything, even ourselves. So, a Sufi is a true lover because when a Sufi’s body sleeps, his or her souls do not sleep. They are still engaged in the remembrance of God. A Sufi’s heart becomes the true recipient of the divine messages.

There are many Sufi orders in this world: Naqshbandi Sufi order, Sahaurwardi Sufi order, Chishti, Qadri etc. They have different names, but the principles and teachings of each and every Sufi order is the same: Activation of the Heart.

With this message and gift of God, we are here to serve you. We believe you are our brothers and our sisters in love and on the Sufi path. We are here to unify with you in love, peace and to commemorate the Sufi path given to the people in the West.

The Living Jesus – Mt. Shasta Day 2

The Living Jesus – Mt. Shasta Day 2

The following is an excerpt from Sufi Younus AlGohar’s talk and Questions and Answers session with the audience at the Mount Shasta Heart Activation Event.

Is Jesus Christ a Metaphor?

In this world today the most educated people turn out to have a conspiracy theory behind every occurrence – behind 9/11, behind 7/7 London and behind Jesus Christ. As a man who believes in God, you believe in God even when you haven’t seen God. That is faith. So, Jesus Christ is not a metaphor.

Jesus Christ is a reality and the endorsement on this reality is that Jesus Christ was initially God’s Word.

The Word was with God and then he was decorated with flesh and bones but that flesh and bone is not Jesus Christ’s reality. Flesh and bones are our reality so that we can relate to Jesus Christ.

That is the only singular purpose Jesus Christ came into this world in flesh and bones. Flesh and bones are our reality and we only understand realities that we can relate to. Jesus Christ is not a metaphor.

The problem with us and our intellect is that our intellect will only reflect things that we have seen. What we have not seen, no matter how hard our intellect juggles with it, we’ll never trace a clue [to it]. In the end, it all comes down to having a very strong faith. When I say have faith, it doesn’t mean you put a blindfold on and blindly believe in everything which is presented to you.

Faith is an abstract feeling. You will feel Jesus Christ’s presence in your heart – you won’t see him – and that feeling in you will compel you to have faith in him. The feeling of his love, the warmth of his love, his spiritual association, his presence in your heart and his reflection in your characteristics will establish the truth to you at least.

Even though the presence of Jesus Christ is abstract, I can see him through my feelings. Through my very profound, very deep spiritual sense.

So I would like to rule out the possibility of Jesus Christ as a metaphor. He is a very concrete reality.

The Living Jesus Christ

If Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Jesus Christ must have the divine attributes of the Father. The Father is eternal and the Father has no death. The Father has been there forever and he will be there forever.

It doesn’t make sense to a common mind that a father is eternal and the son is not eternal.

What happened on the cross happened to something which was just a figure that looked like Jesus Christ. You can call it a lookalike Jesus Christ. It was the entity that came out from the Lower Self (Nafs).

Because of the presence of the Lower Self, you are drawn and prawn to the luxuries and contents of the world. Upon spiritual activation of that particular soul in your body – the Lower Self – it gives birth to four individuals and they look like you. This is the established truth according to Sufism and also according to Kabbalah, which is Jewish Spirituality.

On that day, what transpired was, one of the spiritual entities of the Lower Self of Jesus Christ was put on the cross. Jesus Christ himself, physically and spiritually, was not on the cross. The blood that was dripping through his nails, palms and feet – and was dripping into the Holy Grail – was not coming out from the body of Jesus Christ. It was coming out from a lookalike of Jesus Christ which was a spiritual entity of his Lower Self.

According to the Bible (Romans 6:23), ‘For the wages of sin is death.’

We all understand that, but Jesus Christ is not a sinner. You can say he died for our sins, but God doesn’t have to die for our sins; he can simply forgive us.

Jesus Christ used to make pigeons out of the sand; he would blow upon them and they would fly. So it is an established truth that Jesus Christ gave life to those that were non-existent.

So the one that gives life to others cannot lose his own life. It is impossible for Jesus Christ to taste death.

Jesus Christ is divine. What happened there [on the cross] was a test for the believers as to whether or not they believed in the true and esoteric personality of Jesus Christ. I firmly believe that Jesus Christ is omnipresent. I firmly believe that Jesus Christ is the light of the heaven of the world. I firmly believe that if you find the right spiritual way, you can still connect to Jesus Christ and become united with the reality of Jesus Christ; through Jesus Christ, ultimately, you will find the Father, God.

The Spiritual Cross

I would like to translate, ‘Take up my cross and follow me.’ (Matthew 16:24-26, Luke 9:23)

We have seven souls in our body. When you are following a spiritual path and you are enlightening and awakening your souls, all these souls in the breast make a straight horizontal line with the light of God.

In a similar way, from the soul in the head to the one on the navel point (the Lower Self), a straight vertical line is drawn with the light of God. This is how a cross is established with the divine light in your body. You will only follow Jesus Christ when you make a cross in the body with all these souls.

When Jesus Christ said, ‘Take up my cross and follow me,’ he referred to this cross which is inside your body – not the cross made of wood where people are put to punishment.

When all of the souls are activated, they make a holy cross; this is the cross that you need to follow. The cross is not outside; the cross is within you but you have to find the right spiritual coordination between all these souls. This is how a spiritual cross is formed inside you. That is the cross that Jesus Christ wants you to follow.

Liberating Your Inner Person – Mt Shasta Day 1

Liberating Your Inner Person – Mt Shasta Day 1

The following is an excerpt from Sufi Spiritual Revivalist Younus AlGohar’s speech on Day 1 of the Mt Shasta Heart Activation Event.

In the world we are living in, people have different goals. Initially, I used to think love is befitting to all but after 20 years of travelling around the world and meeting different people, I have come to know that love is not befitting to everybody.

There are loving souls and only the loving souls will embrace love. Then, there are those whose aims in this life are to obtain power, wealth and rule the world. Whoever they are, whatever religion they practise, they are the ones who currently are controlling our lives.

This is a world of reasoning. This world is not eternal. It will perish one day.

The knowledge that I am talking about is divine knowledge, it differs to individuals. With the help of the Activation of the Heart, the only wealth you would obtain is the divine wealth. You may obtain a reflection of God in you. This knowledge of the Heart Activation will not let you have control of the world or give you any monetary benefits. This is purely spiritual.

It is all about your aims and target. There are people who want to control the lives of others. There are only a few who are powerful and control everything – but do they represent God? Is the power that they have eternal? If they control the world, are they going to leave any pleasant impact on the lives of people? No.

Jesus and Moses are still remembered in people’s hearts with respect and they did not control people’s lives. For example, Moses was a liberator. He liberated people and gave them freedom. There are people who think that if they have power, they are God – but that is very temporal.

The peace of the heart is not in controlling people’s lives. It is in controlling our untamed desires.

When divine love enters the heart, you will love yourself and the entire world. The satisfaction, bliss and ecstasy that you will find in love – you will not find it in power, money, strength or controlling the lives of people.

Question: How do we become sincere with ourselves? How do we deal with enemies before and after the heart is activated?

People who are naive to spirituality often get confused about how the heart is activated and what actually happens to the heart when it’s activated. They want to know the substance and what change is brought to the heart. They want to know what it is in the heart which isn’t already activated. These are very common questions.

Then, when we tell them about the spiritual functions of the heart, they become very confused and tell themselves, ‘The heart is a lump of flesh and its function is no more than pumping the blood flow of the body. The most it will do is oxygenate the blood, that’s it. But when a Sufi speaks about the heart he speaks so highly of it.’

Spirituality explains that this physical heart itself can not do anything, but there is a spirit which is sitting on the heart. That spirit is dormant; it’s in a sleeping mode – it’s inactive. That spirit needs to be introduced to spiritual consciousness. It needs to be revived. When that spirit is revived, it is revived with the name of God.

In the actual, factual world, the name of God, when pronounced by the mouth, is nothing. But when it is granted by God through a Spiritual Master, that word has a soul inside it. It has energy.

Do not forget, initially, Jesus Christ said that he was ‘the Word’ and ‘The Word was with God.’ (John 1:1) Then, ‘The Word became flesh.’ (John 1:14) So this is the same type of ‘Word’ we are talking about.

When this word – God, Allah, Elohim, Dios, etc. –  is granted by Spiritual Guide, it carries a small soul with it which is given to the spirit that sits on the heart. With the light of that name, that spirit is revived. Thereafter, that spirit is synchronised in the throbbing system of the heart. With each throb of the heart, it repeats God’s name.

Why is God’s name practised inside the beating system of the heart? Because this is how the divine energy is produced. When two stones are rubbed together, it produces a spark. In a similar way, when God’s name is repeated in this fashion, it creates divine energy. So, we become a source of energy by ourselves. It is like a generator. Many Sufi’s used God’s name as crude oil for this generator. So, God’s name is like oil to a generator. If you want electricity because you don’t have a connection, you would use a generator but in order to run the generator, you would need oil.

Similarly, this heart is like a generator and it needs crude oil. That crude oil can be God’s name, the name of Jesus Christ, Moses, Abraham or Mohammad – any name which has come from God. That name is then implanted in the beating system of the heart and it keeps generating divine energy. Our heart is constantly supplied with this divine energy. In three years’ time, this spirit is completely nurtured and it will take after your shape and that is the ‘spiritual you’.

In three years time, when it’s completely grown up and takes your shape, it becomes able to come out of your body. When it is able to come out of your body, that’s when you are able to establish a transcendental meditation. You sit with your legs crossed and then, you want to perform transcendental meditation. That spirit, which after three years has grown up and looks like you, can leave your body. Then it will ascend and reach its respective realm.

This is just one example. There seven souls in your body.

According to Kabbalah, the heart will reach the Realm of Angels (Alam-e-Malakout). Then we have the Main Soul which is your reality. It comes from The Realm of Souls (Alam-e-Jabarout).

The transcendental meditation will only take place when all these souls are nurtured, grown up and have taken your shape. They will look like you when they are grown up and appear in your dreams. When you become a Spiritual Master, these souls will come and then guide you. When you need [your Spiritual Guide], you call upon him and he will come and help you – not his body but his souls.

I’ll tell you a story of Great Saint Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani. One day, 800-900 years ago, many of his disciples invited him to dinner. His disciples were really confused because every time somebody would come and tell him, ‘You are invited to my house,’ he would say, ‘Yes I will come.’ and people said, ‘How many places would you go at the same time?’ but he kept on smiling.

He went to 17 different places at a time but physically, he stayed at home. His wife asked him, ‘You’re not going to all these places? You promised the people.’ and he said, ‘No, forget it.’

But he went to the homes of everybody he promised to visit; he sat with them, ate with them, etc. The question is: who was he? The body was at home while all these souls that he was able to nurture came out of the body and went [in his place].

You and I also have this ability in ourselves. You and I can also attain these spiritual levels. It’s not just about consciousness.

Consciousness is a very elementary level in spirituality.

After consciousness, you need strength, power and ability to make spiritual journeys. All these messengers were gifted with this knowledge. Adam was the first one; God gave him the knowledge of the heart. When Abraham came, subsequent to the knowledge of the heart, Abraham aided to the knowledge of the soul as well. This is why we say in spirituality, ‘The place of Abraham is in the Realm of Souls.’ He was given the practical knowledge of activation of the soul.

Then came Moses. He was equipped with the knowledge of three different souls: the heart, the soul and Siri (The Secret One). Then came Jesus. He was given the knowledge of the four souls. Then came Prophet Mohammed and the knowledge of five different souls came to culmination. Five dimensions of spirituality.

The [Abrahamic] religions are interlinked with each other. For example, Muslims must believe in all these prophets. If you are a Muslim and you say, ‘I don’t believe in Jesus.’ God will kick you out from Islam. You have to believe in all the Celestial Books, respect all and love all. What we see in the form of Islam today is not Islam. It is something else, it is a monster. Islam is a beautiful religion that taught people how to speak with God, how to respect Jesus, Moses, Adam, etc.

It is a sad story that those who truly represented religions are no more among us and we are left with corruptions in the religions.

Now we have an opportunity through the divine methodology granted to us by His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi – without needing religion, we can still reach God and find ourselves.

Spirituality Without Religion – Mt. Shasta Day 1

Spirituality Without Religion – Mt. Shasta Day 1

The following is an excerpt from Sufi Spiritual Revivalist Younus AlGohar’s speech addressing attendees on the first day of the Mount Shasta Heart Activation Event.

I feel very lucky to be around all these people who love to love, who are very humble and who are following the cosmic energy. In recent times, everything [has become] messed up.

Everything is either adulterated, tampered with or modified. We are almost in the wilderness of forced ignorance upon us.

It is very heartbreaking to sometimes see people distancing themselves from God – from religions, from Moses, from Jesus. I do not blame them for it because those who have represented them were fake people. If a religion and its ideology are corrupted, the entire humanity has to suffer.

When religion is corrupted, it turns into a monster.

Intolerance, hatred, supremacy, and this urge of being the best of all kills the fundamental purpose of religion. Unfortunately, in recent times, all three Abrahamic Faiths – Judaism, Christianity, Islam – have suffered at the hands of people who didn’t deserve to represent these religions.

Religion is like a human being. Every religion has two dimensions: inner and outer. The more important aspect of human life is the inner dimension: your soul, your spirit. This body is like a container and these souls that we have are contained in this body whilst we are here in this world.

This body is not our reality. Our reality is our soul.

Religion must provide spiritual assistance to its followers, with the help of which they can establish a connection with God and regain consciousness. When the inner aspect in every religion was either rejected, overlooked, forgotten or it was made subject to corruption, the religions started malfunctioning and became monsters.

Terrorism, extremism, and fanaticism are the result of corruption in the religion.

No religion mandates the murder of a human. No religion will tell you to take the life of a human being in the name of God. If God were to allow you to kill another fellow human being in God’s name, then most probably, I would stop believing in God. This is out of the divine character.

Either the colour of [our] skin is brown, black, white or any other colour, we are the creature of the same divine, supreme entity. To him, we are all one. Nobody is greater than the other. Nobody is lower than the other.

At least God doesn’t discriminate. If he did, we would have to stop believing in God. But he doesn’t.

Our destiny is God. God sent all these messengers, prophets and saints for our help so that they can teach us to connect with God.

No prophet, messenger or saint is greater than God.

You and I are to connect ourselves with God and we need some assistance. This is the only purpose of a messenger, prophet or a saint sent and anointed by God.

All these religions that were established by different messengers and prophets have lost their glory. The messages of these religions have not been articulated and didn’t have proper representation. But today, every religion is bad. Why?

When we eat fresh food, we enjoy it. Let’s assume you made a lot of fresh food and ate some of it, but still have a portion left over. What would you want to do with it? You would want to preserve it. So you put it in the fridge to eat the next day. However, the fridge cannot keep the food fresh for too long. When the food goes stale, we throw it away because we don’t like it [anymore].

Similarly, the early believers of any messenger were great because they received the divine connection directly from their messengers. After the messengers and prophets left the world, there were people were in contact with God. They worked like a refrigerator to keep the religion fresh. They were substitutes to prophets and messengers.

Now when we have no prophet, messenger or saint of God, there are many who would want to claim that they are very close to God – but when it comes to practicality, the Sufi practice of a majority of Sufis today is based on bookish knowledge. They do not have this connection which God. This is why they are confined to their respective religions.

A true Sufi represents God. He doesn’t represent a religion.

To God, all are equal whether you follow Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism or no religion at all. A Sufi is divinely equipped with spiritual instruments to connect people to God without requiring the religion. With a Sufi, you do not need a religion. You can directly get connected with God. Sufism is a direct contact with God.

There is a very small divine tunnel after the Opening of the Heart and that divine tunnel leads you and me to the destination: to the supreme power.

You can call him any name – Elohim, Allah, God, Dios – it is all the same.

Somebody asked Mevlana Rumi, ‘What is God’s true name?’ and Rumi said, ‘It doesn’t matter.’

One of the people with him was from Iran, he spoke Persian. Another person was from Arabia and another was from the West. Rumi showed them water.

[He said], ‘In Persian, they call it aab. In Arabic, it is called maa. In Hindi, they call it paani and in English, it is water.’

When you give the water to them, they will all get what they wanted. Someone will call it aab, someone will call it maa, somebody else will call it paani and I will call it water, but it is the same substance. The same goes for God.

These religions are different highways. For example, if you want to go to Los Angeles [from here], you can get onto Route 5 or 395. Many highways lead to Los Angeles. That is the similitude of these religions. The religions should not make us fight and hate each other.

I understand that in recent times people have given rise to hatred and discrimination, but they are wrong. God wants to love all, whomever you are.

When Jesus came, he said, ‘I am the light of the world, I am the only way to God.’ – John 5:9

Then Prophet Mohammed came and he said the same thing. So, now people were confused as to who to follow. However, they are [both] right. They said these things at different times. At the time of Jesus, he was the only way to God. At the time of Abraham, he was the only to God. It was the same for Adam. Now, we have different highways – through Jesus, Mohammad, Moses, etc. you can reach God.

The point is, do you have access to Jesus?

When people who represent Jesus do not have a connection with Jesus and tell you stories, you get fed up with the name Jesus. You have been hearing stories for the past 20 years about Jesus but nothing worked for you because people who are representing Jesus are corrupted in the heart. They are making money; they don’t have a connection to Jesus or God.

Our message is the message of love and practical spirituality. We promote divine love.

There are two types of love: the general type of love which is like a Hollywood movie type of love. You don’t need to learn anything, you just need to claim that you love someone. That is not loving. You are after their [physical] beauty.

Unfortunately, God today is not being represented in the mosques, churches and synagogues. Humanity has been left alone, religions are null and void of spirituality. Mosques, churches and temples have turned into shopping malls. Again, humanity is on its own. We have to find our own way to enlighten ourselves, illumine our hearts, and purify our negativity.

I’m not claiming to be a great Sufi Master, but I would like to share the same methodology with the help of which I obtained light in my heart. We’re not here gazing at your pockets [for money], we are not here to sell anything, but to share what we have. I’m not a spiritual mentor, but I can tell you how I got where I am now. Maybe, if you tread on the same path, you can get there. It’s not a matter of pride, it’s a matter of satisfaction. I have this passion in my heart that the spiritual path that I have been treading on, is a trustworthy spiritual path which has been through tests and trials. Thousands of people who have been treading on this spiritual path have acquired their spiritual quest.

This spiritual path is without any commitment. There is no religious pollution, no personality cult, no bondage and no discrimination on this path. It doesn’t look at your skin colour. It doesn’t look at your background. We understand that the souls have the same colour, only our bodies differ in colour. I may be dark brown and you may be reddish-white, but that’s only the colour of the skin. The soul was created by God and it has only one colour: the colour of love.

Let’s turn our souls into a pigeon and teach our souls to dive into the vast ocean of God’s love. Abraham, Moses, Adam, Jesus and Prophet Mohammad are all true representations of God. Through them, an enormous amount of people reached God. Today, if these religions are malfunctioning and not producing results, it is not their fault. It is the people who are corrupted.

The corruption is of two types: corruption of mind and corruption of the heart. The corruption of heart most dangerous corruption.

There is a Sufi saying, ‘O’ Sons of Adam [meaning the entire humanity] there is a lump of flesh in your human body. If it’s reformed, your entire body will become reformed and if it is corrupted, the entire body will remain corrupted. Remember well, it is your heart.’

We need to revive spirituality in our hearts. The heart is like a satellite; like a telephone operator. The most important factor in spirituality is the activation of the heart.

The heart is the divine gateway. When the heart is enlightened and activated, you will find yourself in the presence of God.

It’s like an iPhone. When the colour of the message is green, it means you’re paying for it. If the colour of the message is blue, it means it is free. Similarly, when the heart is activated, God becomes not only your friend but your guide and mentor. You will receive messages directly from him. You will find him within you.

When you are connected with God, you no more behave like a human being. That’s how you recognise whether you are connected to God or not. If I am connected to God but in character, I behave like a devil, it’s easy to understand that I was telling you lies.

If a bottle is hot, nobody should tell you that it is hot. If you bring your hand closer to it, you will feel the heat. Would you believe me if I said, ‘This is really cold,’ but when you bring your palm closer to it, you feel heat rather than coolness?

Similarly, you make mighty claims that you are a divine person but you have the characteristics of the devil. A devil wants division, a corrupted heart, hatred, killing, carnage, bomb blasts, terrorism and extremism. This is all evil! But it is all part of religions now. It is so sad.

We need to work on different levels of consciousness – a consciousness that tells us how to recognise a true man and how to recognise the true representation of God. Before we are able to recognise God, we should be able to recognise ourselves.

‘One who has known himself, he has only known God.’ – Prophetic Tradition

So, to know God, we need to know ourselves. The reality of ourselves is buried deep down in our hearts. All goodness will come after the heart is connected with God.

We do not need thick books. We do not need mighty temples, churches and mosques. We need to turn our hearts into temples. We need to turn our heart into the Bible, the Koran, the Torah. If these books are not inside the heart, then outside, these books are worthless.

We need to activate the heart because the heart knows its true source. Our body doesn’t have any consciousness. The consciousness is granted to the body by the heart. When these spiritual faculties are dormant in our body, we do not know what to do, we are blind. Our ability to see each other is useless.

We need the divine ability to see and hear God – but that will only come about when the heart is activated.

Today I feel proud to tell you that to love and connect to God, you do not have to follow a religion. All you need to do is to activate your heart. If you have this knowledge and methodology, without religion, you can become divine. You can dig into your reality and you can find this supreme-self within you.

25 July: MFI Returns to the Lama Foundation After 22 Years

We at the Messiah Foundation International are utterly delighted to announce Sufi Younus AlGohar’s upcoming visit to the Lama Foundation retreat centre in Questa, New Mexico, on the 25th of July, 2019. This visit marks the first time in 22 years that the MFI are returning to the iconic Lama Foundation centre.

For Messiah Foundation International, the Lama Foundation has always had a special place in our hearts. His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi first visited the Lama Foundation in July of 1997. It was here that members of the community – from all walks of life – joined hands in invocation of God’s name while circumambulating HDE Gohar Shahi. It was also near the Lama Foundation site that HDE Gohar Shahi and Lord Jesus Christ held their momentous meeting.

Sufi Younus AlGohar and his team will participate in the Lama Foundation’s activities and lead the group Zikar at the Lama Foundation on the 25th of July. For further information, visit the Lama Foundation Website.
