Unitarian Spiritualism Conference in Toronto, Canada 2017

Unitarian Spiritualism Conference in Toronto, Canada 2017

The Unitarian Spiritualism Conference, hosted by Messiah Foundation Canada and the Universal Great Brotherhood, was an amazing experience for all involved. We were pleased to see the positive response and meet with so many people whose lives have been spiritualised through His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi‘s blessings.

Steve Bell, President of Messiah Foundation UK, spoke beautifully about the importance and practicality of spirituality in modern-day life. Master Paul Acuna from the Universal Great Brotherhood also shared an admirable perspective on life and human connection.

Celebrity guest Waqar Zaka also spoke about his personal experience with members of Messiah Foundation International.

‘My personal experience with [HH Younus AlGohar] is that this is a method of bringing spiritual elements in your heart. I think it is amazing that [His Holiness] has a method that actually creates the atmosphere where you can go anywhere in the world, but still, your heart will be connected to God. I think this is a great service to humanity.’ – Waqar Zaka on Opening of the Spiritual Heart

His Holiness Younus AlGohar, the keynote speaker and CEO of Messiah Foundation, delivered a mesmerising speech on divine love, the history and relevance of spirituality and the state of religions. The audience was fascinated by his wise words and wholeheartedly embraced his unique message for humanity.

Many people from different religious backgrounds participated in the conference. Mr Sufi Nadeem and his musical band performed many popular Sufi songs which further added to the spiritual atmosphere. A number of people from the crowd even got out of their seats to engage in a Sufi dance while he performed.

We would like to thank Mr Hugh Reilly (Host of Liquid Lunch, ThatChannel.com) for hosting our programme and honourable guest Waqar Zaka for providing social media coverage of the Unitarian Spiritualism Conference.

Messiah Foundation UK at the Croydon PrideFest 2017!

Messiah Foundation UK at the Croydon PrideFest 2017!

Messiah Foundation International UK participated in this year’s Croydon PrideFest to show their support for the LGBT community. Our team had an amazing time! Many of our delegates took part in various activities such as face painting, dancing to the live music and much more.

The LGBT community has been marginalised from the society and is subjected to discrimination even today. However, we at Messiah Foundation do not care whether you are transgender, bisexual, homosexual, heterosexual or anything else. Our message caters for the souls, not the bodies! We simply love and respect humanity. Therefore, the Croydon PrideFest was a wonderful opportunity to introduce our message of love, peace and equality to members of the LGBT community.

More than 3000 festival-goers saw the Divine Signs and merciful images of HDE Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi and Jesus Christ. Our members held up banners near the entrance of Queens Gardens where the parade culminated. Over 100 copies of the Messiah Herald Magazine, a monthly publication by Messiah Foundation, were also distributed at the pride.

Mr Steve Reed, Croydon’s Labour MP, issued a statement in support of Messiah Foundation’s labour of love. Here is what he said:

‘We’re all minorities in this community, and we have to look out for each other. It’s good to see you all out here tonight and I am delighted to support you!’

Another festival-goer stated,

‘Wow, it’s great to see and hear something new and exciting. Your organisation is doing a wonderful job towards the betterment of our society!’

Overall, the festival was sensational. We will continue to participate in such events in the near future as we spread HDE Gohar Shahi’s message.

Do Our Hearts Break? | The Illusions Of Love

Do Our Hearts Break? | The Illusions Of Love

Younus AlGohar explains how the illusions we create affect us and how to find out who you are in the mirror of the truth in order to adopt a lifestyle which agrees with your nature. His Holiness gives a guideline on how to overcome your failures and live a balanced lifestyle.

Main points:

– It is very rare that any relationship is crystal clear, however, when the illusion we create of a relationship shatters, it can be painful. Some people are addicted to bottling up their emotions out of fear of exposing their flaws to the public and damaging their perfect image. Even this fear could be illusionary. Most people in this world are pious because they are hiding their true character; they have two faces.

– Most of the time people already have a self-fabricated stories about us in their minds which they use to judge us. It is very important to find out the intention behind somebody’s action before you judge them. Some people’s intentions are clear through their actions, however, some people struggle to convey their thoughts and talk backwards; this happens when you do not know what you want, you suppress yourself because you adopted a lifestyle that doesn’t agree to your nature.

– Knowing yourself in the mirror of the truth: how does your mind react to emotions? To weakness? To strength? When the mind doesn’t react to weakness perfectly, we are most likely to fall into the ditch of inferiority complex. Failure pushes you to feel inferior, but you need to learn: you are not inferior because you failed. You need to rectify the mistake and move on.

– HDE Gohar Shahi said: ‘Neither inferiority complex nor superiority complex is a good thing. Stay in the middle.’ You should attribute your successes to the important decisions you made in your life and your failures to the mistakes. This is balance.

– Before finding faults in other, keep a check and balance of yourself. We should know who we are. We should know how balanced or imbalanced – spiritually or emotionally – we are. There are physical diseases which we know the symptoms for, but what about the emotional, mental and behavioural diseases? These are the issues nobody knows how to deal with.

One who loves God will definitely – by nature of love – involuntarily love humanity.  If you have no respect for humanity, it simply means you have no respect for God. – Younus AlGohar
