Eesa (as) Ki Dobara Aamad Bator-e-Nabi Ya Ummati?

Younus AlGohar explains why Jesus Christ’s Second Coming will be as a prophet not an Ummati (follower of Islam), and the real reason behind the Second Coming.

Main points:

– It is said that in the era of Imam Mehdi Jesus Christ shall return as a follower of Imam Mehdi. Some people say this is because prophethood ended with Prophet Mohammad’s departure, therefore, there can be no new prophets. The most important thing to remember is that Jesus Christ was granted prophethood before the advent of Prophet Mohammad in this world. Jesus Christ is not a ‘new prophet’.

– Secondly, God said in the Koran [referring to Jesus]: Jesus shall be granted followers that are helpful to him, are Momin (true believers) and will be better than them. ‘Them’ here is referred to the followers of Jesus from his first advent, who were worse. Therefore, when Jesus Christ returns [his new followers] will be better than the previous ones which alludes to the fact that Jesus Christ will return as a prophet; only a prophet has followers.

– In the spiritual circles, it is said that Jesus Christ shall return as a follower of Imam Mehdi in order to obtain the Personal Name of God so that he may reach the Station of Seeing God. If that was the case, why does the Koran said, ‘Neither was he [Jesus] murdered, nor was he crucified, rather God raised him towards himself.’ This denotes that Jesus Christ was ascended towards God, therefore, he was in the company of God for 2000 years; why would he then seek to reach the Station of Seeing God in his Second Coming?

– Some [Muslims] believe that Jesus Christ shall destroy the cross and annihilate the swine. First of all, Jesus Christ has nothing to do with the cross, why would he destroy it? Crucifixion was the main form of Capital Punishment in the era of the Romans, therefore, ‘the cross’ existed before the advent of Jesus Christ. However, Christians believe that because Jesus died on the cross for the wages of their sins, the cross has now become symbolic to Jesus. Secondly, if there was just one pig in the entire world, it would make sense; however that is not the case. Do you expect Jesus to travel around the world just to kill pigs?

– The real reason for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is that so he may learn the method of Zam (Spiritual Infusion) for his most elite followers from His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi. Jesus Christ will be appointed by HDE Gohar Shahi to battle with the Dajjal (Anti-Christ); he will be the commanding soldier in the army of Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi. Jesus Christ will join hands with Imam Mehdi and establish the Religion of God.

Deedar-e-Ilahi Hadees-e-Jibreel se Sabit!
22nd March 2017|LecturesVideos

Deedar-e-Ilahi Hadees-e-Jibreel se Sabit!

Younus AlGohar explains how Seeing God is verified by the Hadith (traditions) of Gabriel. This explanation clarifies His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi’s decision to appear in this world as Imam Mehdi AS.

Main points:

– ‘When you worship God the quality of your worship should be as such that the substance of your worship is Seeing God. If you are unable to see God then God should see you.’ – (Tradition of Gabriel). This is God’s most favourable worship; this is the command of God for the entire nation. However, the religious scholars say ‘God is always watching you.’ This is a great injustice. If God is always watching you then why do you pray to him?

– How many people in the nation of Islam have you come across that are searching for this method of worshipping God? Nobody talks about this because people are not actually practising Islam. They have made their own personal sects [within Islam], they have their own interpretations and understandings. Whereas, [this Hadith] is the core of worship, otherwise prove this Hadith wrong!

– How does God see you? People believe that God is ‘All-Seeing.’ Then why has he appointed angels for various jobs? This was an unsolvable puzzle which HDE Gohar Shahi revealed the secret to. HDE Gohar Shahi said, ‘Round up all religious people and ask God whom he would like to look at?’ Then the Lord said, ‘Just as you see the stars shining in the night sky, whether or not you know the names, if something is shining you will see it. Whatever does not shine, you will not see it. In a similar way, God looks at the shining hearts, whether or not [those they belong to] practise a religion.’

– Those who have become enlightened have become visible to God. What about the common people? Occasionally, God wants to look at the hearts of common people. So, he appoints a spiritual guide. When God looks at the common people, where does he look? He will look for the disciples of the spiritual guide he has sent into the world. The hearts of those disciples would be shining.

– However, now that sainthood has ended, who will enlighten the hearts of humanity so that they become visible to the merciful glance of God? This is why HDE Gohar Shahi took this responsibility upon His shoulders and came to the world. The hearts that began to shine [with the benevolence of HDE], God would look at those hearts through the eyes of HDE Gohar Shahi. And the people who went against HDE Gohar Shahi and developed a bad conjecture about HDE Gohar Shahi, they fall from the merciful sight of God.

Sayedna GOHAR SHAHI Rab ul Arbab Kesay?
9th March 2017|LecturesVideos

Sayedna GOHAR SHAHI Rab ul Arbab Kesay?

Younus AlGohar explains why we believe His Divine Eminence Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi is the Grand God, even though there has been some confusion created about this matter.

Main points:

– Many people are confused as to why we say that His Divine Eminence Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi is the Grand God, when there are videos present in which HDE Gohar Shahi performed Salat and prayed to God. There are many things that create confusion in regards to the saints, prophets and messengers. For example, all prophets are innocent; despite this, Prophet Mohammad would repent 70 times a day. This makes no sense in the minds of people, but he did it anyway. As long as you do not have the missing link, it does not make sense.

– Prophet Mohammad would perform Salat even when he was severely ill. He did it as a role model for his nation; had he not done it, it is not as if God would confiscate his prophethood. Similarly, HDE Gohar Shahi first enlightened our hearts and taught us spirituality when we were completely naive to it. To encourage us on the spiritual path, HDE Gohar Shahi also engaged in Salat and Dhikr. All this was to safeguard our faith. Then, when we reached a certain level of divine understanding and enlightenment, we realised HDE Gohar Shahi is Grand God.

– We go to the washroom because the food here is mixed with the clay of this world. We are from the Realm of Angels (Alam-e-Malakoot), therefore the entirety of the food is not absorbed by our bodies. The nutritional elements of the food are absorbed and the rest would be excreted. Prophet Mohammad, being the Embodiment of God’s Light, also went to the washroom. If God himself had come down on Earth, he too would have to go the washroom. When HDE Gohar Shahi came and ate the sustenance of this Earth, He also went to the washroom.

– His Divine Eminence Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi did for us what no Sufi could have done. He gave us Dhikr-e-Qalb (Opening of the Spiritual Heart) without any conditions and without hesitation. We realised that He is not an saint or prophet. He took HH Younus AlGohar to see God’s Throne. The first one to tell HH Younus AlGohar that HDE Gohar Shahi is the Grand God, was the creator of this universe himself: God. If we had been lying, then by now God’s wrath would have been affecting us by now. We help those who seek God and his love; at the same time, those who want to reach HDE Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi are also welcomed by us.

Can Man Become God?
27th February 2017|ArticlesLecturesVideos

Can Man Become God?

There are three monotheistic, Abrahamic religions: Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Sikhism is also a monotheistic religion – Ek Onkar (‘God is one’) is their logo found on every single Sikh temple.

The oneness of God is the main theme of every religion which was founded by a Grand Messenger. The declarations of faith of Islam, Judaism and Christianity also point towards the oneness of God.

Somehow or others, followers of Judaism managed to believe some of their Messengers were either God or Sons of God; still they practised monotheism. In Christianity, the belief that Jesus is the Son of God is the main theme, although it is also known to be a monotheistic religion.

You will find more emphasis laid on the oneness of God in Islam in comparison to Judaism and Christianity, although Judaism and Christianity are monotheistic religions and it is verified by the Koran.

Yet, some of the followers from the era of Prophet Mohammad to date [revered] some of the saints of God like they were, in fact, God.

Even in Pakistan, it became common for followers of His Divine Eminence Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi to say ‘HDE Gohar Shahi is my God.’ It wasn’t a documented belief system nor was it considered to be a legitimate belief by a majority of think tanks within Anjuman Sarfaroshan-e-Islam (an organisation comprising followers of His Divine Eminence in Pakistan). However, some people continued to believe the fact that HDE Gohar Shahi is God.

On one occasion, while HDE Gohar Shahi was addressing a gathering in Pakistan, somebody stood up from the public and said, ‘I wanted to ask a question.’ HDE smiled and said, ‘Go on.’ He asked, ‘Some people in your circle say that you are God.’ How HDE replied was strange. HDE repeated the man’s words and said, ‘Are you saying some people say that I am God? Have you heard other people say, “He is a Devil”?’ The man said, ‘No.’

Then HDE explained, ‘If people say I am God, it doesn’t mean this is what I believe for myself. I never said that I am God.’

If the Divine Law says that man can be God, then we can officially adopt this practice. Since there are different types of knowledge, even in Islam, you do not know what knowledge grants you what. I have gathered from the writings of many Sufis in different books that the minimum belief a disciple must have for his Spiritual Guide is that he must consider him to be God and he must treat him likewise; otherwise, attaining spiritual grace from him is like daydreaming. This was to be adopted as an attitude, but it has never been documented.

The religious law (Sharia) is very strict in a sense that it doesn’t recognise inward faculties (Batin). Sharia will see you only as a human being; it doesn’t have any access to make an analysis of your inward faculties. Sharia is blind of spirituality, therefore no matter who you are talking about, Sharia applies one stereotype rule to all. Ask any Sharia master about calling a man God and he will say, ‘This is Shirk (appointing a partner with God).’

Ask yourself, ‘Can man be God?’ And you will say, ‘It is not possible.’

This is because we have always preserved the notion that God is almighty: he can do anything, he will not die and he doesn’t fall ill. He doesn’t need help from anybody; he doesn’t sleep or even yawn. This concept of God has been drilled into our heads [by religious scholars]. We cannot just assume a man can be God.

What caused every monotheistic religion to have this problem that some of its followers managed to call a man God? Does it simply mean these individuals who developed the notion that man can be God went astray, had lack of knowledge or purposefully became prototypes of Satan?

In Islam, I have found that Sufis who were the great preachers of the oneness of God agreed to this notion that man can be God.

They were those who were delegated by God; they had spiritual authority, backing and support from God. Still they developed this notion among their followers that man can be known as God. This boggles the mind and the question arises: how come?

We find in the Koran that God will forgive any sins but Shirk. If having a notion of man becoming God was Shirk, then why should a person [who believed man can be God] have been a Saint of God bearing divine authority and spiritual power? He should have been a sinner and have received wrathful reaction from God. [Yet this is not what happened]. Nobody has the answer to this because nobody knows the truth.

How can somebody be a Saint of God and agree to the notion that man can be God, while the Koran states God will not forgive the sin of Shirk?

It is very obvious that the physique of man has no value, therefore it cannot be God. Forget being God; your physical body cannot even be a Momin (enlightened believer). You become a Momin only when your spiritual faculties become involved in enlightenment. Your souls have the ability to absorb God’s light, [so] God can come inside your souls.

Prophet Mohammad said: ‘ The heart of a believer is the abode of God.’

Your heart can be a divine abode which means God will live there. It is amazing how God works behind the scenes. Now, there is a banner that man cannot be God; behind the banner there is a knowledge according to which God will manifest through a human being. Such a person becomes like a cinema screen.

Young children think the characters on the cinema screen [are real and present in that moment]. In a similar way, when a man thoroughly cleanses his heart and it is wonderfully polished, it shines like a mirror. Then, God manifests himself in the mirror of the spiritual heart. Those who will look at that heart shall see God; they will point towards that heart and say, ‘He is God.’

You become a spiritual container of God, an outfit of God. For example, the t-shirt and pants I am wearing are not me. I am inside this outfit, but it is housing me. In a similar way, God will come inside your heart.

A human being has not become God, however the souls inside that human beings have absorbed the presence of God.

If this is Shirk, then how come God [enters people’s hearts]? This is the issue today.

Wahhabis have been using this pretext that Sufis are heretics because they call their Spiritual Guides as God.

Let me remind you of a Tradition of Prophet Mohammad in which he said, ‘One who has seen me, he has only seen God.’

So if a disciple believes his Spiritual Guide to be God, do not jump to conclusions and do not declare him to be a heretic; because he is not saying that the body of his Spiritual Guide is God. He is referring to the presence of God in his heart.

The Kaaba (the black cubicle in Mecca) has no value in comparison to Prophet Mohammad, however in order to model the teachings of Islam, Prophet Mohammad circumambulated it [as part of pilgrimage]. He was going around that black cubicle; at one point the Prophet Mohammad stopped and looked at the Kaaba and said, ‘O’ Kaaba, I am aware of your significance. However, the significance of a Momin’s heart is a thousand times greater than you.’

Mevlana Rumi said, ‘If you have gained control of your heart, this is equivalent of performing Hajj-e-Akbar (The Great Pilgrimage).’ Such a heart which is enlightened and has God’s light in it, is greater than one thousand Kaabas.

This is not about every heart, but a heart of an enlightened believer. The Kaaba was erected by a friend of God (Abraham) whereas the heart is the passage of God.

Wahhabis are not aware of this Islam because the only form of the religion they are aware of is the ritualistic form of Islam. If Islam is an orange, than Sharia is the skin of an orange. The orange inside is Batin (the esoteric aspect). If you are only eating the skin of an orange, it will taste bitter to you; based on this, you will say, ‘Oranges are bitter.’ Oranges are not bitter – you need to peel it and eat the orange which is inside.

Now Wahhabis will say the above-mentioned Prophetic Traditions do not have enough authenticity. We know that because everything which reveals the existence of Batin lacks authenticity in the eyes of a Wahhabi Muslim.

The Wahhabi ideology is like a plague. It is full of hatred and based on loot and plunder. Their ideology is based on fanaticism and something worse than extremism. To a Wahhabi, all non-Wahhabi Muslims are considered to be polytheists. Abdul Wahhab Najadi gave them the authority [to kill non-Wahhabis, confiscate their properties and take their women as slaves].

Regarding himself, Prophet Mohammad said that he is light from God. [Maktoobaat Shareef Faarisee, Vol 3, p 191]

Wahhabis reject this saying. According to the Koran, you must have the light of God in your heart to be an enlightened believer. If the light of God doesn’t enter your heart, you are totally and explicitly misguided and misled in the eyes of God. Having light in the heart is a must to become a true devout believer. So how do they not consider Prophet Mohammad to be light? According to the Koran, God’s light is part of God. When it comes in you,  partially, God comes into your heart.

God’s light is part of God and it is a must for every common follower to believe this.

‘They are devastated and destroyed, those whose hearts have become so hard that God’s name does not enter into them. And that is an explicit misguidance.’ [Koran 39:22]

Man cannot be God, but man can have God in him.

It is a must for connection with God for you to absorb God’s light in your heart and souls. If you do not manage to do it, neither do you know God nor does God know you. You only become familiar with God once you have God’s light in your heart; there is no familiarity without it. When you have it, you have some portion of God in you because God’s light belongs to God and is part of God.

Can you separate an enlightened believer from God? It is his light in your heart that turns you into an enlightened believer. A true believer cannot be separated from God, let alone those individuals who become a divine mirror in which the disciples observe the splendour of God.

God can manifest his beauty and compassion upon any human being; he is not bound by any law.

He must manifest his beauty. For example, when you dress up nicely, don’t you want people to look at you? In a similar way, God wants to show himself off; otherwise nobody will know who God is and how handsome he is. He does manifest his beauty on a shiny mirror: an enlightened heart. An enlightened heart becomes so transparent that whoever comes in front of it will reflect in it, whether it is Prophet Mohammad or God.

Tareekh-e-Tasawwuf

Tareekh-e-Tasawwuf

Younus AlGohar explains what true Sufism is and its role in Islam.

Main points:

– Before the advent of Imam Mehdi, spirituality was to be found in religion. It started with Adam the Eminent One (Adam Safi Allah), the last Adam. 13 999 Adams comes before Adam the Eminent One, but none of them had spiritual knowledge, therefore their souls were kept dormant and they couldn’t reach any spiritual rank. Adam the Eminent One, whose body was made with the clay of Paradise, was the first to receive spiritual knowledge. He was a Grand Messenger; there were four other Grand Messengers who came after him.

– After Adam the Eminent One came Abraham, Moses, Jesus and then Prophet Mohammad. With Prophet Mohammad, prophethood and messengerhood both ended. Through Adam, the hearts of people were revived and God began to send revelation. With Abraham, knowledge of the soul was given. Moses and saints from his nation were able to speak with God. Prophet Mohammad was able to see God.

– God sent these Messengers in order to cause a spiritual evolution and gradually bring human beings closer to him. However, the evolution didn’t happen. When Adam the Eminent One came, he gave people knowledge of the heart. However, by the time Abraham cam, people had forgotten the knowledge Adam introduced to them. Furthermore, the Grand Messengers didn’t emphasise on spiritual knowledge for one reason or another.

– His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi explained that if you want to test your fate, then you should try to obtain Dhikr-e-Qalb (Opening of the Spiritual Heart). With the method given by His Divine Eminence, you find out who you are within seven days. If God allows his name to enter your heart, it means he is merciful upon you.

– A majority of people think Sufism is separate from Islam. However, Sufism is the core of the religion. A true Sufi focuses on God’s name entering the souls, and reviving the souls with Noor (divine energy). There are two ranks in the Stage of Ehsan. People at this stage are those who see God while worshipping. To see God, you need to see him with the ethereal soul in your head, the Ana

– If one is unable to see God, then it is decreed that for them to be at the Stage of Ehsan, they have to make themselves worthy of being seen by God during their worship. God does not look at the bodies or deeds, but at the hearts and the intentions therein. It is false to say that God is watching everyone. If he was, then people wouldn’t engage in bloodshed and mischief.

Amar Bil Maroof Wa Nahi Anil Munkar Ki Tashreeh (Part 2)
5th February 2017|LecturesVideos

Amar Bil Maroof Wa Nahi Anil Munkar Ki Tashreeh (Part 2)

Younus AlGohar explains how Dhikr-e-Qalb is the key to fulfilling a famous phrase in Islam: Amar Bil Maroof Wa Nahi Anil Munkar.

Watch Part 1 Here.

Main points:
– Dhikr-e-Qalb (Invocation of the Heart) is only granted with God’s will. A Prophetic Tradition states that whoever says the Declaration of Faith in their last moments will enter Paradise; when you have Dhikr-e-Qalb, your spiritual heart repeats God’s name constantly even after you die. It is a rosary that doesn’t stop.

– When God allows his name to enter your heart, it means he wants to make you his friend. Dhikr-e-Qalb is minor sainthood. When God sees that a person is to be his friend, he ensures that he has Dhikr-e-Qalb; the constant repetition of God’s name in his heart ensures that he will never be heedless of God. Amar Bil Maroof means to push towards goodness; this is what a heart enlightened with God’s name does. Such a heart pulls one towards God. In a verse of the Quran, God says that heedlessness is directly linked to hearts being deprived of God’s Dhikr (invocation).

– All the celestial books relate to a particular name of God. Bring Ya Rehman in your heart and you’ll be given understanding of Moses’s religion and book revealed upon him. Invocation of the name Ya Quddus will result in the verses of the original Bible being revealed to your heart. Bring Ism-e-Allah in your heart and the entire Quran will be put into your heart. Similarly if you are granted the name Ya Muhammad you can distinguish between authentic and inauthentic Prophetic Traditions.

– Dhikr-e-Qalb is the key to making man completely obedient to God. When Noor (divine energy) produced from God’s name enlightens the entire body, the man submits to God in total. This is the rank of a Momin (true believer). A saint is one who has prepared his souls, and through the medium of Prophet Mohammad has reached Moqam-e-Mehmood. He witnesses God’s splendour after which a reflectory image of God comes onto his heart. Then God looks at his heart over 300 times a day and theophanies fall upon him. A single theophany of God burns seven major sins. Those in the company of such a saint will come under those theophanies and be inclined towards goodness automatically.

– Nahi Anil Munkir means to stop from bad things. The root of all evil in you is your Nafs (Carnal Self). By stopping its Naar (negative energy) intake and giving it Noor, you’ll stop it from badness. When the satan inside you has become obedient to God through this method, you won’t be inclined towards doing wrong.

Khudayi Fassad Aur Aloohiyat-e-GOHAR SHAHI
30th January 2017|ArticlesLecturesVideos

Khudayi Fassad Aur Aloohiyat-e-GOHAR SHAHI

Food for thought about how God behaves with his creation and the new option offered to humanity by Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi.

Main points:
– In rapturous love, there is equality between the two parties involved; however God always remembers he is the creator and that human beings are his creation. How can he engage in rapturous love then? When human beings wanted to love God, he did not tell them how to love him; rather they said he would do the loving himself. Human beings are practically helpless in his system. It is time for humanity to demand their divine rights from God.

– God has a lot to answer for. On the Primordial Day, when a multitude of souls leapt for the modelled luxuries of the world, there was no Carnal Self to influence them towards the world. It was the nature God created them with that pulled them towards the luxuries of the world; therefore it is not their fault they will enter hellfire, but rather God’s.

– The true Lord is the one who came on Earth and went through the human journey. He is the one who feels what human beings feel. God did not do this; but Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi did. If anyone obtains God today, it is because of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi’s bounty.

– Whoever seeks paradise will enter paradise, but whoever seeks God will also enter paradise. It should have been that those who seek God should be put with God. Some people have sacrificed everything to reach God, and in the end they’ll go to paradise. However Lord Ra Riaz says that whoever seeks Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi will stay with Lord Ra Riaz forever. This is a sincere offer.

– Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi is the Lord whose claims are offers are sincere. He does not do anything out of greed. He never created any creation to worship him; he gave his creation all sorts of liberties. God however, did create his creation to worship him. On the Day of Judgement, we will find out whose kingship is in effect. On that day, all will want to bow before Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi, but only those will be able to who have bowed before Him in the phenomenal world.

Martaba-e-Nabuwat Aur Risalat Zaat-e-Muhammad Mein Yakja Kese?
19th January 2017|LecturesVideos

Martaba-e-Nabuwat Aur Risalat Zaat-e-Muhammad Mein Yakja Kese?

What is the difference between messengerhood and prophethood, and why is it important to know in the case of Prophet Mohammad? Read the full transcript of this video in Urdu here.

Main points:

– In terms of prophethood, all prophets are equal in the eyes of God. However, there is more to Prophet Mohammad than his prophethood. For example, the body of Adam was created with the clay from Paradise while Prophet Mohammad’s body was created with God’s light (Noor). God didn’t declare for any other prophet besides Prophet Mohammad, ‘I have sent you as mercy for all mankind.’

– Messengers are sent to establish a religion while prophets are sent to reform what has been adulterated within their religions. Prophet Mohammad is both a messenger and a prophet. After Prophet Mohammad, God declared that there would be no more prophets. Prophet Mohammad’s benevolence as a messenger was granted to immediate followers while his benevolence as a prophet was reserved to be distributed to the saints of his nation as need arose. The saints who received this benevolence would reform the religion as prophets had done in other religions; they enlightened the hearts of Muslims.

– Prophet Mohammad received two types of revelation: one as a messenger and one as a prophet. The revelation related to his prophethood was not used immediately but kept for when the religion would become subject to mischief. Mujaddid Alif Thani, the Grand Reformer, came 1000 years after establishment of Islam. He received a small amount of benevolence from Prophet Mohammad’s rank as a prophet. The rest of the knowledge and blessings of Prophet Mohammad’s prophethood was kept for Imam Mehdi. A Prophetic Tradition states that Imam Mehdi would renew the religion completely after Islam would come to an end.

– There is even more to Prophet Mohammad than him being a prophet and messenger. He possessed two extra souls which originate from God: Tifl-e-Noorie and Jussa-e-Taufiq-e-Ilahi. They relate to Faqr (spiritual poverty) and Ishq (rapturous love) respectively. Different Companions of Prophet Mohammad were granted benevolence of either Faqr or Ishq. Furthermore, Prophet Mohammad’s soul was created to witness God’s splendour; there, his soul says God’s name and God says its name. His subtlety of Ana, called Mehmood, also has its own station.
