Why Should Wahhabism Be Banned? || By Younus AlGohar

Excerpt from ‘God’s Terrorists’ by Charles Allen:

The tenets of Wahhabism were first set down in a treatise entitled Kitab al-Tawhid (The Book of Unity), originally little more than a series of notes but afterwards worked up by his successors into four thick volumes. It reduced Islam to absolute monotheism (tawhid), rejected all innovation (bidat) and declared there to be but one interpretation of the Quran and the Hadith – Al-Wahhab’s, by virtue of his competence to exercise independent reasoning. The rise of Islam had been accomplished only by jihad against idolaters and polytheists. It followed that there was only one course of action open to those who regarded themselves as true Muslims. They had, first, to swear absolute loyalty to their religious leader; secondly, to follow his teaching in every respect; thirdly, to join him in armed jihad against all apostates, blasphemers and unbelievers; and fourthly, to hate those same apostates, blasphemers and unbelievers. In return, they were promised the protection of God and the love and companionship of their fellow believers, and were assured of an immediate ascent to heaven should they die as martyrs while striving for Islam. There was no other path to salvation.

There are a few points that every Wahhabi abide by. If you abide by these principles set by Wahhabis, you will be regarded as a true Muslim. If you do not abide by these principles, you are not a true Muslim; rather, you are a blasphemer, unbeliever and/or apostate.

In order to be regarded as a true Muslim, every Wahhabi must abide by these principles set by Wahhabis themselves.

They have first to swear absolute loyalty to their religious leader.

Secondly, to follow his teachings in every aspect.

Thirdly, to join him in armed Jihad against all apostates, blasphemers and unbelievers.

This is something for the governments of the world to take into serious account. Wahhabism must be banned, because one the principles of Wahhabism is that if their religious leader is demanding from them to join him in armed Jihad, they must do it. To carry out armed Jihad is a principle notion. How can you allow such an intolerant, militant philosophy in your country?

How can you say that you cannot ban Wahhabism, when Wahhabism consists of principles which spread terrorism and militancy in your country? Is this not against your constitution?

A Wahhabi is bound by his allegiance made to his religious leader. If his called to join in armed Jihad against any country, he will do it. For example, if the religious leader of Wahhabis living in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States of America or Canada asks them to join him in armed Jihad, they must do it.

The religious leader tells them, ‘I want you to go and kill 14 people in San Bernardino, California,’ and the they do it. If they tell them, ‘Go blow up four or five double decker busses in London (the 7/7 London Bombing),’ they do it. If they say, ‘Go crash the plane into the World Trade Center, New York (9/11),’ they do it. This is happening.

If his religious leader asks a Wahhabi to join with him in armed Jihad, then he will forget that when he was being naturalised as a British citizen, he was vowing to be loyal to the Queen. Or, when he was being naturalised as an American citizen, he was vowing to be loyal to the United States of America and the constitution. He will forget all these promises made under oath. He is a traitor.

All Wahhabis are potentially traitors in every country.

This is a valid reason to ban Wahhabism.

Fourthly, every Wahhabi has to hate those same apostates, blasphemers and unbelievers [against whom they carry out armed Jihad]. Hate preaching in England is a crime; hate preaching is part of Wahhabism! Is it not a double standard that when hate preaching is carried out alone, it is a crime – and when hate preaching is part of Wahhabism, it is ignored?

Nothing can be more as a solid, concrete reason to ban Wahhabism than to know the fact that Wahhabis are bound by an explicit treatise which explains that a Wahhabi, whether he is a British, Canadian, American or European citizen, is loyal to his religious leader, not his country. When the time comes, he will blow himself up with another hundred British, American or Canadian people.

If you hate apostates, unbelievers and blasphemers and you join your religious leader in an armed Jihad against them and abide by all his commandments; if you have absolute loyalty to him, then Wahhabis make a promise to you that you are now under God’s protection. Every Wahhabi will open his arms and love you. They also promise that your place in heaven is guaranteed. Now you die and you will be a martyr; as soon as you die, your dead body will land in the lap of 70 virgins.

They say, ‘Only through Jihad you will find salvation. There is no other path to salvation.’

According to Christian beliefs, salvation is through Lord Jesus Christ. According to Muslim beliefs, salvation is through Prophet Mohammad’s love. What religion is this where you will find your salvation by killing people? It is written in God’s Terrorists, ‘There is no other path to salvation other than being a martyr and killing apostates, blasphemers and unbelievers.’

And who is a blasphemer? No book from God will decide; Wahhabis decide who is an unbeliever, a blasphemer or an apostate!

Excerpt from ‘God’s Terrorists’:

‘The only way’, wrote Al-Wahhab, ‘is by love to those who practise tawhid of Allah, by devotion to them, rendering them every kind of help, as well as by hate and hostility to infidels and polytheists.’

This new vision was badly received in Nejd. It placed Al-Wahhab at odds with other contemporary religious teachers, including his father and uncle. ‘He claims’, declared the latter, Sulayman, ‘to follow the Holy Quran and al-Sunna [the example of the Prophet and his companions as accepted by Sunnis] and dares to deduce from their teachings, paying no heed to any opposition. Anyone who opposes him he calls a heretic, although he possesses none of the qualifications of the mujtahedeen [those who exercise independent reasoning].’ In his home village of Uyainah he was denounced as a schismatic and ordered to leave. He went to join his father, who had moved to the settlement of Huraymila, but there too his teachings so angered his new neighbours that he was ordered to keep his views to himself, which he did until his father’s death in about 1740. He then took over as judge and began to act and pronounce judgment in accordance with his new teachings. Increasingly outraged, the populace finally turned on him, and an attempt was made to kill him under cover of darkness. He fled Huraymila and sought refuge back in Uyainah.

Younus AlGohar explains how Seeing God is verified by the Hadith (traditions) of Gabriel. This explanation clarifies His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi's decision to appear in this world as Imam Mehdi AS.

Main points:

- 'When you worship God the quality of your worship should be as such that the substance of your worship is Seeing God. If you are unable to see God then God should see you.' - (Tradition of Gabriel). This is God's most favourable worship; this is the command of God for the entire nation. However, the religious scholars say 'God is always watching you.' This is a great injustice. If God is always watching you then why do you pray to him?

- How many people in the nation of Islam have you come across that are searching for this method of worshipping God? Nobody talks about this because people are not actually practising Islam. They have made their own personal sects [within Islam], they have their own interpretations and understandings. Whereas, [this Hadith] is the core of worship, otherwise prove this Hadith wrong!

- How does God see you? People believe that God is 'All-Seeing.' Then why has he appointed angels for various jobs? This was an unsolvable puzzle which HDE Gohar Shahi revealed the secret to. HDE Gohar Shahi said, 'Round up all religious people and ask God whom he would like to look at?' Then the Lord said, 'Just as you see the stars shining in the night sky, whether or not you know the names, if something is shining you will see it. Whatever does not shine, you will not see it. In a similar way, God looks at the shining hearts, whether or not [those they belong to] practise a religion.'

- Those who have become enlightened have become visible to God. What about the common people? Occasionally, God wants to look at the hearts of common people. So, he appoints a spiritual guide. When God looks at the common people, where does he look? He will look for the disciples of the spiritual guide he has sent into the world. The hearts of those disciples would be shining.

- However, now that sainthood has ended, who will enlighten the hearts of humanity so that they become visible to the merciful glance of God? This is why HDE Gohar Shahi took this responsibility upon His shoulders and came to the world. The hearts that began to shine [with the benevolence of HDE], God would look at those hearts through the eyes of HDE Gohar Shahi. And the people who went against HDE Gohar Shahi and developed a bad conjecture about HDE Gohar Shahi, they fall from the merciful sight of God.
