Importance of the Spiritual Guide

Younus AlGohar explains the pivotal role a divinely ordained Spiritual Master plays in taking a seeker of God’s love to their destination.

Main points:

– There are certain things that God gives to humanity without them needing to ask for it. Then, there are certain things you have to work hard to obtain. The most precious thing that God has to offer is his love. If you want luxuries of the world, God will give them to you but he will be put off; you will just have to work hard business-wise to obtain it. If you want luxuries of paradise, God will still not be happy but he will give it to you as long as you adopt a religion. Religions are the means for human beings to obtain luxuries of the paradise.

– We’re visitors here. Death is not end of life. Your soul is the real you. It is ethereal. This world was not meant to be compatible with your soul. To this world, your soul is a foreign living. This is why you need a body. Your body is the container and it is dense. It is compatible with the atmosphere here.

– This life is a mixture of two different types of life: Eternal Life (which is in the background) and Temporal Life (which we tend to think is everything). In the time here, you’re meant to enlighten your souls. The more you strengthen them, the better place you’ll avail in real life hereafter.

– Spirituality is to do with enlightening your souls, strengthening them and enabling them to perform a journey to the realm from which they come. The most important thing in spirituality is your Spiritual Master. Without them, you cannot move an inch in spirituality. The Spiritual Master awakens your soul. He is the first one to communicate with your soul, before even you communicate with your soul.

– The body is like a spiritual dormitory for the soul. The Second Birth is Spiritual Birth: when your soul is awakened by Jesus or a Holy Master. The condition of the soul in the body is like a baby chick in an egg. The egg enclosing the soul is known as the Terrestrial Egg. To hatch a hen’s egg, the hen provides heat. To hatch soul out of the Terrestrial Egg, the Spiritual Master provides Divine Energy.

– When God put the soul inside that Terrestrial Egg, God was the last one it saw. When it is awakened, the Holy Master is the first one the soul sees. The soul’s understanding develops that the Holy Master is its Lord since the last one it saw before being put in the Terrestrial Egg was God. When a baby is born, it cries. The first thing the soul does is say the name of the Lord when it is awakened. Then, a wire of Divine Energy from the Holy Master’s heart will be inserted in disciple’s heart. That’s how the soul will be nursed spiritually.

Why Have Religions Been Intolerant of Homosexuality?
29th June 2016|Articles

Why Have Religions Been Intolerant of Homosexuality?

In 1996, when I lived in Manchester, United Kingdom, I used to drive a taxi. In the middle of the city centre, there was a village called Gay Village. I was the only driver from a Muslim background who was happy with them. They would often ask for me to pick them up. I found that these gay people to be very mellow and soft-spoken. They were not violent at all. That was my experience.

I have spoken at length on how the Islamic law was formulated and the harsh punishment which we see in Islamic law was prescribed for a specific reason. The problem is: the world is not aware of the background information. When you don’t know the background information and only rely on what you see in front of your eyes, the chances are, you will be greatly mistaken. Sometimes, even what your eyes can see can be deceptive.

Before I continue on this subject, I would like to tell everybody: do not ever think that I am either in favour of homosexuality or against homosexuality. I am discussing the background information: how homosexuality has been abhorred in religious text of Christianity and Islam. What was the reason such a harsh punishment was prescribed by God for a crime which involves two individuals pleasing their bodies?

Human beings today are more aware of their rights in comparison to times in history. 1400 years ago, the human population was scattered and people lived remotely. They were not in contact with each other. There was no concept of cosmopolitan cities. Today, we are more busy with gadgets. We are spending more time at our job, and then we come back home and watch television or use our iPhones, laptops, etc. It is quite safe to say that we are now living in a virtual world. We have distanced ourselves from practical life as science advances. Interaction with people is being done more online rather than in face-to-face meetings. The entire world has become one global village.

Some years back, it was so hard to keep in contact with my family in Pakistan. Every time I  would think of calling them, I would visualise spending £2.50 per minute; I would think, ‘That’s a lot. Forget about it.’ Then, in 1996, a friend told me to open an email account. I opened an email account with Hotmail.com and was able to email a friend in Pakistan. I was so happy; he got it and replied. I was all free from Pakistan.

It was so difficult to be in contact with people who lived in other countries. Even in Pakistan, if you were calling from Karachi to Lahore, it was a lot of money. About 15 years in the United States of America, if you were calling from one state to another, it was a long-distance call. So [in the past] you were in contact with people who live nearby you. We’re living in times today where even in one home, with our family members, we do not communicate really well. Forget about people living in your neighbourhood.

1500 years ago, towns and villages were like a home. Everybody knew everybody. You couldn’t disappear. If you became a homosexual, then the problem was that this would spread like fire. The chances were that everybody would be afflicted with this type of lifestyle. The Bible is 2000 years old whereas the Quran is 530 years younger than the Bible. There is a lot of time between the Bible and the Quran. The Quran is the latest of God’s word. In the Bible, God talks about homosexuality in a disapproving manner.

When it comes to Islam, there are many things you do and you have to die, not just homosexuality. If you talk bad about the religion of Islam, Muslims say that you must die. If you do not respect the Prophet, Muslims say that you must die. Then if you want to leave Islam, they say you must die. In Islam, things are really on the edge. Being a Muslim is like you are walking on a tightrope. Islam is the most difficult religion. I am not saying it is bad.

If somebody wants to become a Muslim, tell him, ‘Bear in mind, if you having become Muslim decide to become homosexual, then you will be beheaded. If you speak ill of the Prophet or talk bad about Islam, you will be beheaded. For 90% of the wrong-doings you want to do, the punishment will be a death penalty.’

It will be like a medicine that you want to take as a cure for a disease. You want to read the information provided with the medicine. There are hundreds of side effects mentioned there [such as blood pressure and heart attacks]. By the time you finish the leaflet, you will say, ‘I don’t want this medicine.’

Homosexuality Among Muslims

People in the west who think Islam has said, ‘Homosexuals should be killed,’ are not fully aware of what Islam is and what Muslims do. I can bet my life on it: there are more homosexuals among Muslims than in any other nation.

I heard that the King of Oman is gay. He is gay for a funny reason. Somebody told him, ‘If you marry and have a son, your son will kill you and become king.’ So he never touched a woman; he decided to have sex with men because men will not produce a son.

I do not know how many Muslim priests are not homosexual. In Pakistan, over 90% of Muslim priests – who lead prayers in the mosque five times a day and who teach kids how to recite the Quran – are homosexual. There is a very thin blue line. Being homosexual is different, but there is one more aspect. Among Muslims, Muslim priests want to rape children and men. They do not want [anything done to them physically in return].

Many Saudi princes are homosexual. Sometimes, the Quran appears to be slightly funnier; there is a verse in the Quran in relation to having sex with your wife. God says, ‘You can enter into your wife from wherever you want to.’ This verse has been misinterpreted at a very high level. People thought they could have anal sex with their wife.

Among Muslims, there is a very common problem: people want to do everything, but they don’t want to talk about it.

If somebody is a homosexual in Pakistan, he doesn’t want to admit it in public because he feels ashamed, but not because he feels guilty. He thinks, ‘What will people say?’ Whereas, in the western world, they want to do it and they don’t want to hide it.

In the olden days, there were few people living together. The problem was that [they feared], ‘If one man is afflicted, others will do the same. Then what will happen?’ If there are only 50 men living in a village and all become homosexual, what will the women do and how will they have kids?

Today, the human population is in billions but there was a time in history when people would live remotely and they were not aware of others’ existence or presence. If there were 50-100 men in one village, that was the entire world for them.

The Quran was revealed for people of the Arabian peninsula, whose temperament is very hot. If you do not swear at them or beat them, they don’t listen to you. They do not understand the language of love. They have been warriors. Killing among Arabs is a pastime. They used to kill each other over tiny issues like water. They would start enmity over it and the killing would continue through generations.

Now, through evolution of intellect, civilisation, and people’s own prescribed values for their life, humanity has come to a point where they want to make a choice for themselves.

They want to lead a happy life for themselves. Sometimes you make a folly decision and only after you have come to some kind of harm, you learn a lesson and then you revert. However, we are living in a different time. It should be allowed for people to let them choose what they want for their life.

Some people do not want to see or love God. I think it is useless teaching them or even forcing them to believe in God. Let them be the way they want to be. Nothing should be done by force; nothing should be imposed. It should come from acceptance of the heart. If your heart accepts something, then you do it, believe it and act upon it.

If you force some ideology on others, and under fear, even if they do it, they won’t enjoy it.

So Islam, Christianity and Judaism do not allow homosexuality in their religions, but these religions have failed. So now, there is no point. You are doing every other thing wrong, but when it comes to homosexuality you want to follow the Bible. You’re deceiving others, depriving them of their belongings and your lifestyle is based on a lie. You’re not an honest man, you do not honour people and you do not respect humanity.

You don’t do anything that your religion teaches you to do, but only when it comes to homosexuality, you want to be a Muslim and a Christian. Then you say, ‘This is bad. I cannot see this.’

My point of view is, even according to Islam, God has been recorded to say that he will forgive all your sins for except one: if you find a partner with him (known as Shirk in Islam). God is very intolerant to this.

Messiah Foundation International’s Views on the LGBT Community

Messages Image(48420533)

The spiritual values we represent have no problems. This message of love and peace is for everybody, whether you are homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual or asexual. These things belong to your body.

The message of the Messenger of Love, Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi is for the entire humanity, for all communities including the LGBT community. The LGBT community has a rainbow on their flag, seven colours. I want them to add another seven colours of the soul on their flag, so that the seven souls inside the body are also enlightened.

The message and teachings of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi are so profound and broad. Lord Ra Riaz says, ‘Even if you do not follow a religion, come and obtain divine love. You will be better than those who follow a region but they do not love God.’

If somebody does not practise any religion, do you think he will understand that homosexuality is bad? If he is a homosexual but he wants to learn to love God, will you tell him to go away? No. The message of Lord Ra Riaz is for everybody: love for everybody.. Whether you are a gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual or transgender, we have nothing to do with your gender; our message is for the soul.

So Messiah Foundation International does not have a problem with LGBT community. We consider them as our brothers and sisters. We have love for them like we have love for anybody else, without discrimination.

If you want to become a homosexual or not, it is entirely up to you. It has nothing to do with your soul.

Does God Love Everybody?
28th June 2016|ArticlesLecturesVideos

Does God Love Everybody?

I want to tell you everything in detail, with reason, rationality and understanding of the truth. It is a very sensitive matter. What I am going to tell you is going to make you worry in a sense that you might have thought of things differently, and when you come to know the background reality, it will surprise you.

The knowledge that comes from God is true knowledge, but when knowledge about God is coming through a religion, it is censored and it doesn’t tell you everything about God.

For example, what Jews know about God and how they believe in God is different from the Christian perspective, and what Muslims think about God is entirely different to what Christians and Jews think about God. We the Quran, Bible and Torah come from the same God, so then the question is why do they have different perspectives about God? For example, Christians think God is all love, while Muslims are very scared of God.

Although the Bible talks about paradise and hellfire, it is very rare that a Christian talks about hell. This means their divine perspective is painted with the colour of love. They don’t talk about paradise or hellfire, they talk about hope. They say, ‘If you believe in Lord Jesus, all your sins are gone.’ They also say, ‘Jesus Christ has given his life and as a result of this, all our sins are washed away.’ The Bible says, ‘For the wages of sins is death.’ Their belief is that Jesus died on the cross and he is the saviour.

Muslims are scared of God in a sense that if God is upset with them, he will send them to hellfire and they will stay there forever. If they worship God, go to the mosque and follow their religion dedicatedly, then they have greed of going into paradise. A Muslim doesn’t talk about God’s love. Either they talk about the torment in the grave, burning in hell or the virgins of paradise.

The knowledge about God was given to every religion. People have different perspectives of God because the knowledge of God which was given through religion was censored; they didn’t have the complete knowledge. For example, if there is a snake behind me and I am not aware of it, I’ll be okay, but the moment I find out that there is a snake, I won’t be able to sit there anymore. Similarly, when you are unaware of the truth, you are not scared; but when you come to know the truth, then you go through a shock.

True knowledge about God will come from somebody who has seen God. God speaks to him and he speaks to God – they can see each other. Then in that friendship, God will reveal the ultimate truth upon him.

In Islam, they say that God loves his creation more than 70 mothers can love a child. What I heard is, ‘God must love us, this is why he created us.’ However, then, I saw people dying. People were born on the streets and they lived all their life on the streets. Some of them do not have legs, some don’t have eyes, some others don’t have arms and their lives are a complete misery.

Many million people in Africa do not have access to clean water. In the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada and other modern countries of the world, we waste water and food; but there are millions of human beings on this world who have no clean water to drink. We drink water but we do not say, ‘God, thank you, you gave me clean water to drink.’ If you go to Africa, and you give them a glass of clean water, they will say, ‘Thank you God!’ a thousand times. People are dying of starvation.

The question is: if God loves all his creation, then why are some human beings living a life of luxury and why are others suffering? Nobody has the answer.

When you are actually in front of God and you know how his behaviour is, what his ethical understanding is, what type of love he has for his creation, how he is pleased and how he gets angry, then you shall say, ‘I will never get to know about God if I trust this knowledge [about God that comes through religions].’

What people know about God is that he is a creator and that he has strength and power. They do not know anything else about God.

For example, if a loved one dies at a young age, we are so sad and it is not easy for us to bear the pain of the unexpected departure. Do you not want to know how God feels when somebody dies? When young babies are dying because they don’t have food or milk, how does God feel and where is his power?

The Bible and Quran say that if God wants something, he just says it and it is there. So why doesn’t he just feed all the dying children in the world?

When I see people suffering, I feel badly; then, I feel badly when people use the name of the religion and kill innocent people. I don’t know how God feels. However, I don’t think God loves everybody.

If God loves everybody, then everybody would be good. They wouldn’t be killing each other.

There would be no bloodshed or hatred. If I love you as a human being, my love can be fake; but God’s love is not fake. How can this be possible that God loves somebody and he is not a good man?

If I have God’s love, I cannot be bad; I cannot hate, kill anybody or harm anybody.

If you hate people; you kill them, shed their blood and don’t let them survive, how can we believe God loves you? If God loves you and it doesn’t change you, then I think that kind of love of God is useless!

Being loved by someone is a luxury. When you come to know, ‘Somebody loves me,’ you feel special. If God loves you, why have you never had this feeling? When a woman loves you, you are a different man. If God loves you, why don’t you feel any different about God? The answer is: you just believe that God loves you [but he does not].

When God loves somebody, that somebody is a special person. Their feelings are different, their behaviour changes. The way they look at the world is different, the way they behave with people is different. They don’t harm or hurt anybody; they help everybody. Even if they have to sell every single drop of their blood, they will sell it but they want to see people happy because this is the creation of God who loves them.

God’s love will fill their heart with love for the creation.

This is not what I have gathered from my own understanding, rather, this is what I have come to know by dealing with God; it is the result of experience.

God does not love everybody, he loves some people. Some people were not meant to be loved by God because God decides what you will do.

God created some souls for his love and some other souls who do bad things. If you are bad, it is not because you are bad; it’s because God wanted you to be bad. You cannot overcome God or overrule the purpose of God. If God wanted you to be good then the only chance you could be bad is when you would be stronger than God. God is stronger than you, so you must be good if God wants you to be good.

Christians have a sense of freedom; they think, ‘Jesus will take care of everything, let’s do whatever we want to do because all their sins are washed away.’ Muslims either have fear of hellfire or greed of paradise.

What you see today as terrorism is the result of the greed of paradise. They think, ‘It’s very easy to get into paradise, all we have to do is just kill some people. We will become martyrs and go into paradise, God will not ask us any questions.’

This terrorism is based on greed and lust, it is an unholy war. God cannot allow for one to kill another person in his name! This is the problem.

On the other hand, Jews are still waiting for their land and that is on top of their agenda because God promised the Jews, ‘I will give you the land that belongs to you.’ They are still thinking about that, their prayers are for their land.

There was a Sufi woman called Rabia Basri. One day, somebody saw her holding fire in one hand and water in the other, and she was running. They asked her, ‘Where are you going? Why do you have fire in one hand and water in the other?’ She said, ‘I am going to put out the fire of hellfire with this water, and with this fire I will burn the paradise.’ He asked her, ‘Why do you want to do this?’ She said, ‘I get really upset when I see people worshipping God out of fear for hellfire. Or, they don’t worship God for God; they worship him for the greed of paradise. When hell and paradise both are gone, then people will love God with sincerity.’

Some people developed such attitudes because they became pure. They loved God without a reason, not because of fear or greed. God said that those who become friends with God and who love God, God removes all types of fear from them. They become fearless.

When spirituality was the core of every religion, it would take care of all the issues that develop in religions. Since spirituality became absent from these religions, they became a problem.

Today if you have spirituality, you don’t need a religion. All you need is to love God. If you have God’s love, you are better than those who have a religion but still don’t love God.

How do we know if God wants to love us?

For example, if you want to court woman, you have to approach her and talk to her. You sit together and talk. If you see someone and you want her but the woman doesn’t know you or want to love you, it will never happen. Similarly, you need to approach God and send the message to God, ‘I want to love you, what should I do?’

You don’t know God’s address, you don’t know where God is. In spirituality, this is the way God sends spiritual masters with authority, power, light and positive energy.

When we initiate the hearts of people, we ask them to close their eyes and repeat the name of God three times. Then, Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi takes that person’s image to God. God asks, ‘Why have you brought him here?’ The master says to God, ‘Because he wants to love you.’ If God doesn’t want to love him, very straightforwardly he says, ‘No I don’t like him.’ That is the end of the story. That person cannot become a spiritual man.

However, if God says, ‘Okay, if I grant him my love, who is going to train him?’ The master says, ‘I will train him.’ God says, ‘Okay, let my name enter the heart.’ Then, God’s name enters the [aspirant’s] heart and starts to produce divine energy. This is the initiation of spirituality. This is the point from where you begin to generate divine energy in your heart.

If God’s name has entered your heart, this is God’s permission that he wants to love you and he wants you to love him.

This is the common practice, but in some rare cases, God enters his light in your heart and you don’t even know it.

In this moment in time, God is not bothered about any religion, God just wants to love those who want to love him. We have to take this message to humanity, and this is how the process of unification will start. This is how the entire world will enter into a universal brotherhood.

Purpose of Religion: A Message To Young Generation
26th June 2016|ArticlesLecturesVideos

Purpose of Religion: A Message To Young Generation

The following is an excerpt of Younus AlGohar’s talk aimed at young people living in the West whose parents are religious.

You should not do anything blindfoldedly. Don’t just do everything that your parents have done. You should know what you are doing and the consequences of what you are doing. Before you do it, you should satisfy yourself that what you are going to do is good; it is not going to harm or hurt anybody and your hard work is not going to go into a waste. It should mean something.

If I am going to a mosque, I better make sure that by doing so, I please the Lord. If I am doing things incorrectly and imperfectly, and this action is not going to please God, then it is a total waste. Some people go to the mosque just for the sake of going there. They think, ‘If I don’t go there, maybe my friends will say, “He is a Muslim and he doesn’t even go to the mosque!”’ Or they worry about what their fathers will say. However, you want to go there if you think, by going there you will be pleasing the Lord.

The goal of practising a religion is to please the Lord, so then when he is pleased with you, he grants you with his love and you become a holy man.

Inquisitiveness of the Young Generation

When I went to the mosque for the first time, I didn’t want to go there. My father forced me. I didn’t even know why we should go to the mosque. When I grew up and I studied, I started to understand what means what. As a child, if your father is a Hindu, he will take you to a temple. If your father is a Christian, he will take you to a church. If your father is a Jew, he will take you to a synagogue. If your father is an alcoholic, he will take you to a bar.

What I am trying to tell people is: if you practise a religion, you must know why you practise a religion.

Sometimes, our mind doesn’t tell us what to do. The necessity tells us what to do. For example, if I am thirsty, my thirst will prompt me to drink water. If you ask somebody, ‘Why do you drink water?’ They will tell you, ‘Because we are thirsty’. If somebody says, ‘I don’t know, I’m just drinking,’ it doesn’t make any sense. We go to a restaurant to eat food, but if you don’t know why you are going to a restaurant, you’ll go there, watch people eating and drinking, and come back.

This is the case today. People ritualistically follow a religion, but they do not know why they should follow a religion.

As a child, I was obsessed with cricket. I played cricket all day. My teachers didn’t like it. They used to tell me, ‘You only play cricket when there is a free period. Everybody else is in the class; you are alone playing cricket.’ One day, he asked me, ‘Why do you come to school?’ I really didn’t know why.I had thought, ‘We go to school so that we put our books in the class and then go back into the ground and play cricket.’ Then after a few years, I found out that we come to school to study and cricket is just a game.

The educational system of the young generation in the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and America, is different from the one we have in Pakistan. In Pakistan, where I grew up, people know everything, but they don’t know anything. For example, they memorise the words of the Quran and if you ask them, ‘What does it mean?’ They say, ‘Why should I know? I just know it.’

The educational system in these countries will stimulate your brain. In Pakistan, the teacher will hold the book and read and you listen. In the West, they ask you to do it. They guide you, but they don’t do it; they make you do things. This is when you learn.

In the West, the teacher will tell you, ‘I want to know what a mango is. So go into the library and collect as much information on mangoes as possible.’ Then you go there, do some research, make notes and bring it back to the teacher. This is how you learn. Back home in Pakistan, the teacher will explain everything and he thinks you have learned everything. In the countries where the educational system is good, they stimulate your brain.

This new generation wants to know, ‘Why should I go to a synagogue, why not a church or mosque?’

We are living in western society; it is not a Christian or Jewish society. It is based on secular values made by human beings; it is not Christian or Jewish values.

For example, you’re a student in school or college, and you have a girlfriend. If you both agree to sleep together, there is no harm in this according to secular values – whereas in Christianity, Islam and Judaism, this is not allowed. There is a system. If you want to have sex with a woman, you must marry them legally first.

So when this generation goes to school, they have this system where they can do anything; when they come back home, their Christian or Muslim mother and father say, ‘This is wrong.’ So they are confused about what to do now.

They have been brought up in an educational environment where they are only taught to have protected sex with anybody. Whereas in Islam, you can’t do that. Parents from Pakistan do not educate their children, but expect it from them to know everything. Sex is a taboo subject; they don’t want to talk about it. This is where they go wrong.

Parents need to discuss everything with their children. This is where they will train and educate their children.

In a similar way, we do not teach children the necessity of practising a religion because we do not know it ourselves. It is very unfortunate: we were born in a Muslim country, in a Muslim home, so we think that we own Islam, we have all the rights and we don’t need any knowledge. We think, ‘We have knowledge in our blood! This is why we are having problems.

I want to address the young generation: before you do anything, you must know what you are doing; whether it is good for you or bad for you. Whether you are making a genuine effort. Whether you’re doing it for the sake of God or you’re just doing it to please your father. If you worship God to please your father, God will be really disappointed.

Paradise and Hell

Paradise is material. This solar system has many planets. In addition to this solar system, there is another solar system: it is called the Angelic Solar System. Each paradise is a like planet, like Earth, Jupiter, the Sun or the Moon. Paradise is not a building or a garden. There are seven planets [for each paradise].

There are seven hells [which are each different planets] in another galaxy.

When you die, your body is buried or cremated here, and comes to an end. The angels will take your soul and you will be assembled before God for accountability. God will decide who he will send to paradise or hell. When it is decided by God that, ‘This person will go into paradise,’ his soul will be placed in a new physical body. That body will have no diseases or illness; it will never die.

This concept of life in paradise is a little different as it has been told. People go there, live there forever, and whenever they wish for something, it will be there. If I were in their shoes, I would get bored. It would be the same thing over and over.

Without love and companionship of God, this idea of luxurious life in paradise seems to me a bit dull.

It doesn’t suit me or fascinate me. I want to be with God, rather than being in paradise. I want to be in the Lord’s company day and night for eternity.

The way religions are being promoted and projected these days, more and more emphasis is being laid on rewards, not love of God. They say to serve and worship God for paradise. Even while you’re worshipping, you’re thinking about paradise. God is not even a secondary object.

The Primordial Times and Choice of Souls

God created souls with a specific purpose in his mind.

He created a group of souls and the purpose was that these souls should love him. Now, when they are born into this world, they don’t need to go to any college; the natural instinct in their soul will be to look for God.

Nobody will tell them, ‘Go love God.’ They will feel the thirst of God’s love. They are special people.

Then, God created some other souls with a purpose: to guide others. So they have this natural instinct in them to guide other. They were regarded as prophets, messengers and master.

So there are many different types of souls and then God created some ordinary souls. He created them all.

They were all assembled before him and then he showed them luxuries of the paradise and luxuries of the world. Then, God said it unto them, ‘Choose what you want.’ So a multitude of souls chose the luxuries of the world. Some other souls chose luxuries of paradise.

Then, for those who chose luxuries of paradise, God said to them, ‘In order to get this, you need to follow a religion.’ For those who chose luxuries of the world, there was no condition.

All these souls came into this world and then religions were established. Now, many souls who did not choose the luxuries of the paradise, they also became Muslims, Christians and Jews. They will never get to paradise because they never chose it. As a result, they never follow the religion perfectly. They create problems.

Primary Objective Of Religion: To Connect With God
25th June 2016|LecturesVideos

Primary Objective Of Religion: To Connect With God

Currently, there are three major religions in the world which are famous, which have a spiritual and religious background; at the same time, they have a political aspect also. Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all monotheistic religions and they are all under the umbrella of the Father of Prophets, Abraham.

The State of Religion Today

Right now, the world, there are millions of Christians and millions of Muslims; even the Jews are in the millions and their religion was fantastic. However, the world is not at rest. We do not see any impact of those religions on humanity today. We talk about the Torah, Bible and Quran. People are serving God, praying to God and worshiping God in synagogues, churches and mosques all over the world. However, the purity in hearts of people is a big question mark today.

The hatred they carry with them against each other is still to diminish. Their religiosity, servitude to God and the knowledge they have about their religions, somehow or other is not helping them get rid of this hatred.

Obviously, a Jew will speak very highly of his religion. A Christian will definitely speak very highly of his religion. Then you have Muslims who will speak highly of their religion. The problem is: if everybody’s religion is the best religion, then why is it that the people who follow that religion are not the best people?

If I say, ‘I have the best car in the world,’ and others who have lower quality cars are going faster than I am and even with the best car I cannot compete with them, then I will have to reconsider my claim.

According to the Quran, Muslims are the best nation on Earth. This is where the confusion pollutes minds. The question is: are all Muslims best, or which specific Muslims are the best of all? Are we the same type of Muslims as the early Companions of the Prophets were, whose religiosity and servitude to God were pure, who were in the blissful and blessed company of the Beloved of God, who spent days and nights sitting in the presence of the Beloved of God? How can I claim to have the same quality of faith as those had who were in the presence of Prophet Mohammad?

Then, Muslims only remember that Quran declares them as the best of all nations; however, they ignore what else was said by the Prophet. For example, he said, ‘One who lies is not from my nation.’ Then Prophet Mohammad said, ‘One who promotes racism is not from my nation.’ He declared, ‘One who praises somebody for false is not from my nation.’ He also said, ‘If you are a Muslim and your neighbour goes to sleep without food, I will not take you as a Muslim.’

So the problem is, the religion and its practice, unfortunately has been confined to the books. We do not see the best of the religions in practice today.

There is one narrative from God in the Holy Quran which states, ‘In the beginning, you were all progeny of one Adam. Then I divided you into many tribes and nations for the sake of recognition.’ So, he sent prophets like Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad. 124 000 prophets were sent into this world in order to guide people towards God. Different people were given to keep company of different prophets.

Those who belonged to a prophet formed a nation. There were the nations of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad. They were introduced with division, however the source was the same. The messages given to Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad came from the same source, the same God.

In different languages, countries and nations, you call upon God with different names; however that supreme being who sent Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammad – and all other messengers and prophets – is the same. Even the Sikh community in India believe in one God. When they say, ‘Ek Onkar’, it means ‘One God.’ There is not another God; there is only one God.

For example, a Canadian citizen lives in Canada; a British citizen lives in England and those who live in the USA are American citizens. The fact that they are citizens of different countries does not make a rift between them or invite them to fight each other.

In a similar way, a Jew reaches God through Abraham. A Christian will reach God through Jesus, and a Muslim will reach God through Mohammad. The destination is the same. Then why are these people killing and hating each other?

The Universal Brotherhood is on the top of God’s agenda. This is how the world will come towards it culmination towards the end. All will be united under the umbrella of God’s love. All will love God. All will become truthful devouts, upon principles of God’s love.

There is a verse in the Holy Quran which says, ‘When all these people who follow different religions deviate themselves from these religions and shun the religions, God will send down on Earth his nation. They will love God and God will love them.’ This is a clear cut instruction about the end times.

Towards the end times, the only religion which will be established will be the religion of God’s love.

Prophets and messengers have done their best. We live in an era where we do not have any prophet or messenger guiding us. All we get to know about these prophets and messengers is through the books. The books have become so untrustworthy; the words written there might have been adulterated, altered or opinionated. There are 50 000 different version of the Bible. It is God’s word, but people adulterated, modified and altered not just the interpretation, but the original text too. The human mind is full of corruption.

When a human mind and heart are corrupt, the religions suffer.

Today we have Jews, but we do not have good jews. We have Christians, but we do not have good Christians. We have Muslims but we do not have good Muslims. It is very unfortunate. When the bad Jews, Muslims and Christians do bad things, people do not say, ‘These Jews, Christians and Muslims are bad,’ they say, ‘Their religion is bad.’ How can they be bad when they were introduced by God through a prophet?

People over 60 start to have problems with their internal organs. The kidneys may not be working properly, the liver may have problems or the heart might struggle; we understand that this is because of age. As you grow older, the organs in the body are also getting used up every day. There is not too much you can do about it medically, because there is wear and tear. They are getting used up.

Everything is getting used up, even the Sun. The Sun is the ultimate source of hydrogen, and it has been covered by the ozone layer. Now, a lot of hydrogen is being released through rifts in the ozone layer. Due to this, people are beginning to have problems such skin diseases and sunburn. We’re told to wear sunglasses and a cap to protect against the UV rays while we are in Canada, because the Sun rays come directly to the eyes.

We’re running short of water. If you go to the washroom in any 5-star hotel, they say, ‘Please do not use water generously. Save water.’ There is global warming. Icebergs in the North Pole are melting, as a result of which oceans all over the world are soaring up. There is more torrential rain, more storms and more trouble. So everything is getting used up.

Similarly, when you grow old, your internal organs also grow old. If you die at 80-90, it makes sense because you’ve been using your heart for 85 years. There is no servicing. You don’t change your oil filter or air filter of your heart like you would a car. After every 10 000 miles, you take your car for servicing; but you don’t take your heart for servicing.

It is understandable if somebody who is 80-85 years of age dies of a heart attack, kidney failure or liver failure. However, sometimes, we see that people who are 20-25 years of age die of a heart attack. That is a problem. The body is young but inside the body, the organs have failed.

So it is not the body that the life rests; it is the internal organs which keep the body moving.

Similarly, the body of every religion is so beautiful still, but the internal organs of the religion – which is spirituality – has failed.

Spirituality was part of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. In Islam, it was known as Sufism, the knowledge of the heart.

Prophet Mohammad addresses the entire humanity in a particular Tradition of the Prophet. He calls upon all human beings, ‘O’ humanity, there is a piece of flesh in your body: if that is right, your entire body is right. If that piece of flesh in your body is corrupted, your entire body is corrupted. Remember well: this is your heart.’

Enlightening, reviving and awakening the heart is the art of Sufism. This is the gist of the Bible, the Quran, Talmud and Torah.

‘Whosoever believes in God, God guides his heart.’ – the Quran.

People have forgotten why they practise a religion. When you marry, you do so for many reason: for pleasure, offspring, progeny, a life partner, etc. If you marry a woman and you don’t see her and she doesn’t see you, what is the use of that marriage?

Today, people do not know why they’re Christians, Jews or Muslims. If you ask a Jew, ‘Have you seen God?’ They will say, ‘What are you talking about?’ If you ask a Christian, ‘Have you seen God,’ they will say, ‘No. Why should I?’ If you ask a Muslim, ‘Have you seen God,’ they will say ‘It is not in the Prophetic Traditions.’ People don’t know why they follow a religion. The most they know is that they follow their religion so that when they die, God sends them into paradise.

The recent wave of terrorism is coming from an Islamic faction, Wahhabism. What they are hammering into the brains of young people is that if they blow themselves up and kill many other people along with, that will be the most favourable act in the eyes of God. They say, ‘The moment you blow yourself up, you will enter into paradise, and there will be 70 young and beautiful female damsels of the paradise waiting for you.’ This is how people are lured into these things.

Only those are being trapped into this kind of hateful ideology who do not have knowledge of Islam or the Quran. Suicide is prohibited in Islam. Throwing away your life is not allowed by God. You cannot do that, but this is happening. Some people say this is because of hatred; I say, ‘No, this is not because of hatred; this is because of lust and desires.’

The primary objective with which you follow a religion is to connect to God.

You should be able to hear God and God should be able to hear you. However now, whether in the case of Christian people or in case of Muslims, the wrong interpretation of the divine book has played havoc. It has destroyed their ability to understand the true meaning of God’s word.

The Quran 3:38 says, ‘O’ Lord, you listen to our prayers.’ What does it mean? People think God has the divine calibre to see and hear everything. That is true. God has the power to do anything, but at the same time, there is a system manufactured by God. God said that he does not look at your faces, actions and deeds; he looks at your hearts and intentions thereabout.

There is a system in which you say things with a different tongue and only then, God is able to hear you. We have a body and we have a soul. Our reality is not our body; our reality is our soul.

It is the soul that God created. The body was not created by God; it was formed in the womb of your mother. God will hear your voice if your soul is able to speak.

If I ask you, ‘Were you able to speak before you were born in this world or will you be able to speak after your death?’ You’ll say, ‘Yes, you could speak before you were born and you will be able to speak after you die.’

However, after your death, you will speak not through your body but with your soul. God is ethereal. He is the creator of your soul. You have to revive your soul. When your soul is revived and awakened, then God will hear your soul and your heart.

The lack of spiritual knowledge has misled people all over the world.

We’re trying to raise awareness of spiritual knowledge. Some people who are short-sighted and who lack knowledge think that I am against Islam or Christianity. However, I’m not against Christianity, Judaism or Islam. I respect all religions because they come from God.

When foods are adulterated, your stomach will suffer. When religions are adulterated, your heart will suffer.

God’s Love: Superior to All Religions

The Universal Brotherhood is our aim, that all are bound by the rope of God’s love. All all united under the umbrella of God’s love. This is what we are aiming for.

Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi invited all humanity to become unified with the bond of God’s love. His approach and his message is so universal. It is not limited by any religion, creed or book; it is purely divine.

I give you one of the messages of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi about spiritual revolution.

He said, ‘In order to reach God and recognise God, learn spirituality no matter what religion you practise.’

Spirituality is for all. All those who want to love God are invited, whether they follow Islam, Christianity, Judaism or any other religion. Those also are invited who do not follow any religion but they want to love God.

Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi said, ‘The best human being among all is one who has God’s love in his heart even if he does not practise any religion. God’s love is superior to all religions.’

Let me give an example from the time of Prophet Mohammad. A time came when the Prophet Mohammad told his Companions, ‘You cannot drink alcohol anymore, it is being prohibited by God. Islam does not allow consumption of alcohol.’ A Companion of the Prophet was found drinking alcohol, so the other Companions caught him, punished him and then released him. After a few days, he was caught drinking again; they punished him and then released him. For the third time when he was caught drinking alcohol, the other Companions got angry and were cursing him. Prophet Mohammad was inside his room; he heard it. He came out and said, ‘Do not curse him even if he drinks alcohol, because he loves God.’

Now you can see that God’s love is superior to religion. According to religion, he was bad, but Prophet Mohammad said, ‘Do not curse him because he loves God.’

How did he obtain God’s love? This is very interesting. Religious people go to the mosque five times a day, fast during the month of fasting and they carry out all the instructions of the religion. Religious people do all sorts of worship and rituals and they observe all the prohibitions of the religion. However, this particular man was not very good in the religion.

What he did was that he used to come and sit with the Prophet every day. There used to be many problems at that time. There were many enemies of the Prophet and of the Companions of the Prophet. People were trying to attack on Islam. They wanted to destroy Islam. When Prophet Mohammad would hear about those problems, he would become sad. This man would approach the Prophet and tell the Prophet a joke. The Prophet would laugh and forget about the problem. He used to do it every day. By doing this, he became so dear to the Prophet and this is how he obtained God’s love. He didn’t do anything.

There are two different ways of God’s love. One way is that there is a group of people who want to love God. They try to please God. When God is pleased, then God grants them his love. Then there is another group of people: they are those whom God loves. They don’t have to make any efforts.

So there are people who want to love God and then those who are loved by God.

There was a Sufi called Ibrahim bin Adham. One night, he was sitting alone and he saw an angel who was writing. So Ibrahim asked the angel, ‘What are you doing?’ The angel said, ‘I am writing the names of people who love God.’ He asked him, ‘Is my name there on the list?’ The angel looked at the list and said, ‘No, your name is not here.’ He became really sad. The next night, the angel came back again; this time, the Sufi was so sad that he was not bothered by the presence of the angel. He didn’t ask because his heart was put off.

When the next night the angel came, he was writing on a piece of paper. The angel asked him, ‘Are you not going to ask me tonight what am I doing?’ He said, ‘Does it really matter?’ The angel replied, ‘Well, ask me.’ He then said, ‘What are you doing?’ The angel said, ‘I am writing the names of people that God loves.’ He asked, ‘Is my name there?’ The angel said, ‘It is on top of the list.’

So in the Universal Brotherhood, there will be two different types of people. There will be the people who love God. They will have to make a lot of efforts to please God and obtain his love. Those who are loved by God don’t have to make efforts.

While you are serving this mission, you will see some people who come and join and will make a lot of efforts; they will be those who want to love God. Then you will see some other people who are so good, but they don’t make efforts; maybe they are those who are loved by God. This mission is for both.

In reply to Younus AlGohar’s article regarding the distortion of the concept of Jihad and the truth about Ibn Taymiyyah, a reader, Chris, had this to say:

Very interesting article. I had a Muslim friend share this with me. I was not aware that the lesser jihad was supposed to be over. This is the first time I’ve ever heard that.

In light of terrorists attacks that have occurred here in the United States, I’m guessing that those terrorists still subscribe to the lesser jihad? Would they know that it has been declared invalid?

Thanks

Mr Allen, in reply to Freedom of Choice: God’s Decision for Humanity, said:

I really like this article. This is very strong and straight comments on this sensitive issue. “God doesn’t force people to believe in him, how can a man force others to follow a religion”.

In short I can say it’s a beautiful article in social and religious context.

In reply to The Power of a Willing Heart, Ms Anne said:

I have just found you Younus. I have just watched your video on how to awaken your heart in order to speak and receive from God and Jesus. Do I need a spiritual master ? And if so, how do I go about it? Many thanks for your wise words. You cannot know how much I needed to hear what you had to say.

In reply to the same article, Mr Brian said:

I love your story, and I hope you can share it with as many people as possible.

Ms Angela responded to Younus AlGohar’s article, God and Water by saying:

What you said is very well, I agree with your point. I also think that we can’t circumscribe God according to the name.

Freedom of Choice: God’s Decision for Humanity

Freedom of Choice: God’s Decision for Humanity

We have been discussing homosexuality in the light of religions and also in the light of people making their own choice.

As far as my knowledge is concerned, and given my research and study, I assert that God does not force anything on people for various reasons.

Firstly, if God were to force anything on you, then your accountability would be useless. You could not be held responsible for anything wrong and right you would do in this world. There would be no concept of accountability on the Day of Judgement.

God said, ‘There is no compulsion in the religion.’ With regards to the religion, the Quran itself asserts, advises and makes it clear upon all Muslims that you cannot compel people to believe in certain things. Contrary to this, in Saudi Arabia there is a religious police that make you go to a mosque and worship by force.

The ordinary translation of what Quran says is, ‘There is no compulsion in the religion.’ The word used in the Quran is ‘Akrah’ which comes from the family of the word ‘Karahiya.’ In other words, If you are worshipping because you have to, but you do not like it and you’re doing it without your heart in it, then God doesn’t like it. Therefore, he declared if anything makes you feel bad doing it, then don’t do it because this is not part of the region.

In religion, you only do things once your heart is convinced to do it.

This is why a prerequisite in Islam is declaration by the tongue and verification by the heart. If it does not come from the heart, it does not reach divine acceptance.

Those who force others to worship can make them worship, however that worship will be futile because it will never reach the divine acceptance. The reason being that God does not like anything done for him without your heart in it.

If you are in the business of pleasing the Lord, then it is very important that while you’re doing it, you yourself are pleased with it. If you are aiming to please God and are unhappy doing it, that won’t make any sense to any sound mind.

There are loads of things Muslims are doing today which are not endorsed by the Quran. For example, forcing people to observe fasting in the month of Ramadan. You cannot force anybody! You cannot force people to go to a mosque. You cannot force your wife to have sex with you, but we hear from so-called Islamic scholars that you can force her, and if she refuses, then angels curse her all night. These are stories; a woman is a human being too and you cannot do that. But this is what Muslims are doing today.

It is very unfortunate that the western world is unable to differentiate between actions and deeds of Muslims and the decree of God in the Quran.

Muslims are not doing anything that formulates the original Islam. Islam has been greatly misunderstood and misinterpreted.

I remember very vividly when I was talking to Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi. Lord Ra Riaz was in New Jersey, USA. There was a discussion between me and the Lord. I suggested out of my own folly to the Lord, ‘I think you have to be a little strict on people. You are too kind.’

So in reply to my suggestion, Lord Ra Riaz said, ‘My message is the message of love. It has to come from the choice of your heart. It cannot be forced on you.’

A message of love will be given to people with love; It will be offered to them following their own choice.

The message of Lord Ra Riaz is the best message that has ever come to this world. However, this message, like any other message, cannot be forced upon on anyone. It is very nice, but it will only work for you when you accept it with your own choice. You cannot force it.

Looking at the face of the Lord was the best action or deed I could ever imagine doing. When we would be in the presence of the Lord, no matter how perplexed or worried we were, the moment we’d see the face of the Lord, we would forget all our problems. It was so relieving and relaxing to look at the Lord’s face. It was food to the eyes. You’d just look at the Lord’s face and your heart and soul would get drunk; your heartbeats would rise out of sheer happiness and excitement.

I could never believe that I was in the company of Lord Ra Riaz. I would be sitting there with certainty, but with so much uncertainty; I would think, ‘How is it possible that I am sitting here with the Lord?’

Looking at the face of the Lord live was the best possible indulgence available in the world; it was something out of this world. You would instantly feel your soul uplifted.

When we would sit in the presence of the Lord, we would feel the heart filled with divine energy. A sense of accomplishment would be felt inside the secret chambers of the heart. We would feel satisfaction, spiritual tranquility and serenity. That serenity and spiritual tranquility made us forget all worship. The eyes were in constant worship.

Having sat in the company of the Lord and having been able to be in face-to-face meetings with the Lord, so much so was the influx of the divine energy with an unmeasurable intensity of love that would emanate from the pores of the Lord’s body.

When you have been exposed to naked divinity, why would you want to worship? The souls were so saturated with the spiritual tranquility, serenity and satisfaction that there was left no desire to engage in worship.

One day, I complained to the Lord. I said, ‘What should I do? My heart does not find any spiritual solace in the practice of worship.’ The Lord smiled and asked, ‘Where will you find it then?’ Now it was my turn to be a little timid and shy, but I had to say it. So I said, ‘I find the ultimate solace of my soul when I am in your company.’ It was then said, ‘Then do not enter into worship with a disinterested heart. Whenever you worship, worship with an interested heart.’

So nothing is forced. If I force you to become good, how can you become good? Goodness cannot be practised; it has to come from the heart. You can play a game with sweet words, but then your actions will reveal that was a fake exposition of goodness; it wasn’t meant to be good.

The point I want to make here is that actions of those who force others to worship or become Good are not supported by God. It cannot be part of the religion because there is no compulsion in the religion. If somebody wants to be a homosexual, you cannot force them to be a heterosexual, because God doesn’t like it.

When God created all the souls, he then assembled them in front of him. He showed them the luxuries of the world and the luxuries paradise; he did not say, ‘You will be good and you will be bad.’ He did not say, ‘You should have luxuries of the world and you should have luxuries of the paradise.’ He gave them a choice. He showed them luxuries of the paradise and he showed them luxuries of the world. Then, it was said unto them to make a choice. Whatever choice they made in the Primordial Times was written in the book of their fate. There was a group of souls: what they did was neither did they even look at the luxuries of the world nor did they look at the luxuries of the paradise. They fixed their eyes on the splendour of God. This was their choice. God accepted it. They are those who became saints.

So when God is not forcing upon his creation anything from him, who do you think you are forcing anything on people?

As a human being, you have the right to be whoever you want to be. Now, whether God likes it or dislikes it, he will decide it later on.

For example, you don’t feel well and you see a doctor. You are diagnosed with something and then medicine is given to you. Now it is your choice whether you take the medicine or not. Have you seen any doctor beating you up, trying to convince you to take the medicine? The choice has to be yours. Now, the choice you are making: if it is a good choice, you will be rewarded. If you take the medicine, you will get rid of the disease and get well again. If you don’t take the medicine, your health will deteriorate and you will suffer. Regardless of the consequences, it is entirely left onto you to make a choice. You should be wise enough to make a good choice. If you are not wise enough and you are making a bad choice, nobody should be able to stop you. You can only be advised, ‘This is bad and this is good,’ but the choice has to be made by you.

You are completely free to make a choice, but it comes with responsibility. You are responsible for it.

In the light of the Quran and after how God conducted himself (he did not force his ideas on creation), it has become vividly clear that you cannot force any ideology or worship upon people. You can tell them what is right and wrong, and leave it to them to make a choice.

Forcing others to do good or bad things is not allowed in any religion. Extremism in religions today is completely against the conduct of God. It is completely against the spirit of the religion.

By the same token, if somebody wants to be a heterosexual, you cannot force them not to be a homosexual. Everybody is free to make a choice. I am not saying it considering this notion as a secular point of view; rather I am telling you that this is the wavelength upon which God thinks. God himself does not force anything upon anybody so how can you?

If somebody wants to be a heterosexual or a homosexual, let them make a choice. It is none of your business. This is our official statement. You cannot force your ideology on anybody. God doesn’t force people to believe in him, how can a man force others to follow a religion?

Orlando Shooting: A Message By Younus AlGohar

There is sad news about a shooting in Florida. It involved a man of Afghan descent, Omar Mateen, who was born in New York, aged 29. He lived in Florida, 90 miles away from Orlando. He carried out a terrorist attack in a gay night club, Pulse, in Orlando. He killed at least 50 people. Another 53 are seriously wounded.

All sorts of theories are being discussed on the media all over the world. He is being linked with ISIS/Daesh, Islamic terrorists. As we hear, he is believed to have carried out this mass shooting in a gay club because ISIS think homosexuality is against Islam.

A lot of people follow me on Twitter and they have asked me what my opinion is on this. I have quite a few followers on Twitter who come from different backgrounds, who take their time before they comment on anything; they are those who get to the bottom of the truth before they finally give their verdict about anything. However, after this incident, some of the friends on Twitter have said Islam is a religion of hate and death because Islam does not permit its followers to engage in homosexuality.

Homosexuality in Islam

I heard through different news agencies that ISIS punished gay people. I have seen quite a few videos in which they were throwing a gay man from the top of a building and he died. However, I never really studied the Islamic point of view on homosexuality in detail and I did not know what the punishment was in Islam.

I understand, even if Islam prohibits its followers from becoming gay and awards the death penalty to those from among Muslims who become gay, it does not give any Muslim a license to go kill any gay man.

Islamic jurisdictions only apply on Muslims in a Muslim state and the USA is not a Muslim country. Secondly, the punishment is to be given by an Islamic judge, not by a common Muslim.

For example, someone maybe be a Muslim and their religion does not allow homosexuality, so they don’t like it. However, Islam does not ask Muslims to go and kill anybody who is gay. Islamic laws only apply to Muslims; they do not apply to non-Muslims.

Even if a Muslim man becomes gay, in that case, a common Muslim cannot take the law in his hand. He cannot just go and kill people because they have become disobedient to God.

You cannot be a judge on matters relating to God’s commandments. If there is a law in Islam, there must be a judge as well.

Unfortunately, Islam is practised involuntarily throughout the world.

There is no established hierarchy who controls all the Muslims.

Catholics have their hierarchy: the Vatican. All the Catholics all over the world believe in the Pope. They listen to him. There is no such thing in Islam. There is no unanimous, universal leader who is respected by all Muslims all over the world.

You will find two types of people: those who will defend Islam no matter what happens and those who curse Islam no matter what happens. Nobody wants to know the reality. Those who do not like Islam, these incidents give them an opportunity to relieve their anger on Islam. Those who are peaceful Muslims and they love Islam, they try to explain to others that Islam is not bad, but at the same time they do not know what to say about these terrorists. It is a very sensitive matter.

According to the Quran, there is no such thing as the death penalty to the transgressors. However, in some Prophetic Traditions, it is narrated that death penalty should be awarded to those who engage in sexual acts with the same sex. To be honest, there are many thousands of Traditions of the Prophet, the text of which is not trustworthy anymore. I am not saying the Traditions of the Prophet Mohammad have no value at all, however the health of these Traditions of the Prophet carries a big question mark.

This law in Islam does not give license to any common Muslim to start killing people who have become homosexual. There is a law; there must be a department within Islam who interpret and uphold the law, and who bring people to justice. There must be courts.

What [Omar Mateen] has done is highly condemnable and deplorable.

It is not just Islam that does not permit people to become homosexuals. Even the Bible has the same point of view on homosexuality.

‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.’ — Leviticus 20:13

In terms of awarding sentences on homosexuality, Islam and Christianity are on the same page. Then why condemn Islam only? Even if Islam and Christianity do not allow homosexuality and they want to award the death penalty to the wrong-doers, neither the Bible nor Islam suggest that a common person should go and kill any gay man.

Let me give you an example: I commit a sin by stealing — stealing is not allowed by Christianity or Islam. If someone becomes gay, what should we do then? If I punish them and they punish me, then nobody will live here.

If Islam and Christianity do not allow homosexuality, who are you to punish them? God is the judge.

According to Islamic beliefs, there is only one sin that God said he will not forgive anybody of, and that is attributing a partner with God (Shirk). Only this sin is unforgivable.

All other sins are forgivable. God can forgive anybody at any time. So wait for God to decide whether he wants to forgive them.

If you were to kill a sinner here, before God passes a verdict about them, that would be unfair. That goes totally against the principles of any religion. God has prescribed the Day of Judgement; this is when he will announce judgement and decide who goes to hell and who goes to paradise.

In the Bible, it says that homosexuals should be put to death. However, there is a story in which Jesus Christ was walking by a mob and there was a lot of commotion. Jesus stopped there and asked people, ‘What is going on?’ They said, ‘There is a woman who committed adultery. We are pelting stones at her as punishment.’ Jesus said, ‘Halt. Don’t stone her. Is there anyone in this mob who has never committed a sin?’ There was not even a single man who had never committed a sin. Everybody was a sinner. Then Jesus said, ‘When all of you have sinned in your life, then who gives you the authority and power to punish the other sinners?’ They said, ‘Jesus, we are doing it according to the law of Moses. Do not disturb us.’ But Jesus did not allow that woman who committed adultery to be stoned to death. We have something else in the Bible, but what Jesus has done is something else.

The penalty of homosexuality is the same in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. But when a terrorist does this, all the anger comes upon the religion. They say, ‘Islam is asking you to kill gays.’ No. Islam awards death penalties to the wrong-doers but it does not ask common Muslims to carry out the execution. Then why do we have these terrorists?

We have these terrorists because of hatred and wrong interpretation [of the religion]. The Wahhabi sect has misinterpreted the religion of Islam.

If you kill somebody in some US states, you will awarded the death penalty. If you live in one of these states in and see that somebody has killed a man, and you know that according to the law, he should be awarded the death penalty, should you kill the offender yourself?

The concerned authorities will execute the punishment. If every single person becomes an executioner, then there will be nobody living.

My Views on Homosexuality

If you ask me my personal views about homosexuality, what I have to say is that I prefer a woman. I’m straight. However, if my friend wants to be a homosexual, it is none of my business. That is his life, his decision. I don’t care. Will him being homosexual have any bad effect on my relationship with my friend? No.

My point of view about homosexuality is that it is a matter of preferences. If you decide to have sexual relationship with the same sex, that is your own choice and I respect it. I want to be straight; that is my choice and I should be allowed to practise my choice. I respect your choice and you respect mine.

If somebody asks me, ‘Are your spiritual discourses, benevolence and grace confined to straight people only?’ I would say, ‘No. The blessings of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi are for everybody, for the entire LGBT community. We have no hatred for anybody. We respect humanity.’

This only a tiny issue. This is your own body. You decide what to do with this.

Religion vs Spirituality

These religions are very old. There is another problem which is very sensitive point that I would like to mention.

In these religions, more emphasis is laid on physical worship, because even when spirituality was introduced to these religions, it was just a flavour of spirituality.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are the Abrahamic Faiths and their emphasis is on your physical worship and purity. They’re more concerned about cleanliness of the body. They are naive to the internal, esoteric cleanliness of the soul because that knowledge is not available for except a tiny, fading flavour of spirituality.

This is all they have; their deeds, actions and reward from God are highly dependent on how pure their body is.

When you enter into spirituality, awaken and enlighten your souls, and with the help of your souls you become unified and united with God, then you care less about the cleanliness of your body.

They do not have this brand of profound spirituality in these religions; therefore, all their emphasis lies on physical purity and purification. This is why they care so much about maintaining physical cleanliness and modesty.

For example, some people have a full-time job, on top of which they have a part-time job as well. They naturally give more importance to their full-time job. When they become redundant and their full-time job is gone, then they are left totally dependant on the few hours of their part-time job.

When you are a spiritual man, your souls are engaged with God. They’re purified, enlightened and awakened and able to make spiritual journey. They are able to hear God, love God and be with God. When this happens, you make a lot of progress. You make a lot of rewards for yourself.

Even if your body is not making any good deeds, what your souls is doing is far better for you. But those who do not know spirituality and their reward will only come from what their body will do, they are totally dependent on good actions and deeds of their body.

Since Lord Ra Riaz has introduced spirituality in the fuller meaning of the phrase, now, your goodness is dependent on purification of the soul.

Christianity, Judaism and Islam are concerned about purification of the body because they do not have the knowledge which will purify and awaken your soul. Lord Ra Riaz has introduced the knowledge which will purify your soul. Islam, Christianity and Judaism do not like homosexuality, but Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi is not bothered. Messiah Foundation International is not bothered. We have the knowledge of the soul.

Your body is for this world only. When you die, your body is gone. But if your soul is awakened and purified, this purification will last forever. If your body is pure and your soul is dirty, it is useless.

If your clothes are clean and your body is dirty, it is useless.

Messiah Foundation International doesn’t care whether you are bisexual, transgender, homosexual or a lesbian. All these words describe your body. The message of Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi is far greater than your body. The message of Lord Ra Riaz is about awakening and purifying your soul.

We cannot deprive people of this great gift of God, the love of God, simply because they are gay or lesbian. We respect all humanity whether they are bisexual, homosexual, transgender, etc. Whoever they are, we are not bothered about their physical engagement. We are to do with their souls, spirits and hearts.

Some people are not gay, but they’re involved in other things their religion does not allow them to do. God’s point of view is: when you do that, you are actually making your body impure. [You want to maintain purity if] you want to bring God in your heart. However, if you are not even spiritual and don’t even want God to come in your heart, it is now [irrelevant] whether you’re making your body impure or pure.

Messiah Foundation International’s point of view on homosexuality is that everybody has the right to do whatever he wants to do. If God doesn’t like it, God will decide. I shouldn’t be the judge. If I want to be judge, then when I sin, I should allow people to judge me and execute [punishment] on me.

For example, you are a gay and you come to me. You say, ‘I want to befriend God.’ I give you Invocation of the Heart and say, ‘Close your eyes, say name of God three times.’ Then your image is taken to God. God knows everything about you. If he accepts you, and your heart is saying God’s name, then what of the death penalty? If God accepts you, then who are we to persecute you?

When you are a Christian, Muslim or Jew, you belong to that religion. In spirituality, you belong to God. God does not have any law for except love.

When you die, your body stays in this world; either in the grave or it is cremated. It is the soul that will be taken up there. If you soul does not have any religion, you are unclassified. Then whatever good deeds your body has done in this world, according to this worship you carried out with your body, your future will be decided on the Day of Judgement. In spirituality, your souls are enlightened, awakened ands purified. Within your lifetime, you find unification and union with God. You become one with God.

Is there reward more beautiful than this, that whilst you are here and your soul is awake, you love God and God loves you? [When you die and your] soul will go up there, you will still recognise and love God.

These religions cannot enlighten or awaken your soul. These religions will only tell you to do good with your body, to clean your body, to go to mosque, church or synagogue and verbally worship God. But your soul will be unaware of any act carried out by your body. In these religions, you follow the law of the religion completely. Even then, it is uncertain whether you will go in paradise or hellfire. No matter how good a Muslim, Christian or Jew you are, on the basis of your good deeds in this world, you can never say it with utter certainty that you will enter paradise. Only God will decide on the Day of Judgement where you should go.

The brand of spirituality that Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi has introduced to this world is unique. It does not have any flavour of any religion; it is nude spirituality. In this spirituality, you’re only concerned about God and his love, not about any religion. If God is generous, then due to the presence of God in your heart, you will see you have become generous. If God is compassionate, due to the his presence in your heart, you also will become compassionate.

It is going to be like God is living among us when you have become a perfect spiritual man.

The body is like a house. We live in here in this house, so we want to keep it clean. The religion says, ‘Keep the house clean because this body is the house, and the souls are living inside.’ When the house becomes deserted and nobody is living there, nobody will keep that house clean. When the souls are enlightened, then you do not need to clean the house.

The souls will emanate divine light, which will keep your body clean.

You should not have hatred for any bisexual or homosexual because God does not look at the faces; he looks at the shiny, enlightened hearts. Secondly, even if your religion does not allow homosexuality or bisexuality, according to the same religion, you are not the judge. On the Day of Judgement, God will decide. You cannot persecute or execute anybody.

If you want to hate somebody because he is gay, then you should also hate yourself because you also do so many sins every day. Becoming a gay according to a religion is not good, but then again, think about yourself.

Do you think you have never sinned or done anything wrong? Only God is the judge. The entire humanity is accountable to God, before God. Nobody can punish anybody.

If you are a sinner, how can you hate another sinner? Everybody sins in this world.

Wahhabism and Gun Control

What has happened in Orlando, Florida is homegrown terrorism. Mateen was born in New York; he was US citizen. We have one Muslim named Muhammad Ali who recently died; he was a great Muslim who respected humanity. He said that Islam did not allow anybody to hurt and harm anybody. Then we have these Muslims.

What is the difference between the type of Muslim Muhammad Ali was and the type of Muslim that the people involved in the Paris Attacks, San Bernardino and the Orlando Shooting were?

Muhammad Ali was Sufi Muslim. Sufism has spirituality. These [terrorists] have been polluted with the Wahhabi cult.

In order to deter terrorist atrocities, all the western countries, especially the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, must wipe out Wahhabism.

They must curb Wahhabism. The better they do this, the greater it is in the best interest of humanity. It is in the best interest of their national security. We demand and request all these governments all over the world not to be just vigilant. They have been vigilant; even then, these incidents are taking place.

These incidents are not stopping because the ideology of death and hatred is not being banned. They need to ban Wahhabism.

The problem is: you are not a terrorist until you kill somebody. However, what if you have radicalised views? If you’re preaching hatred, talking about killing and jihad, then for having such views, you should go behind the bars. The government and law enforcement agencies should not wait for someone to carry out the atrocity and claim innocent lives.

There is a large presence of Wahhabis in the USA. Every time there is a shooting or terrorist activity, spokesmen from Wahhabi organisations come on television and pose as if they are sympathisers of the USA. Most of these Wahhabis are supported by Saudi Arabia and their oil money.

The government has no other choice but to crack down on these potential terrorists. ISIS is following the Wahhabi ideology. The only difference between Saudi Arabia and ISIS is the colour of their flags: Saudi Arabia’s flag is green and ISIS’s flag is black. Otherwise they’re all the same: they follow the same ideology of hatred. They are murderers. They hate humanity.

If they do not take this step now [against Wahhabis], things are going to get really serious.

They should be very quick in taking a serious step towards an organised crackdown on the Wahhabi ideology of hatred. The problem in Canada is even more severe than it is in the USA. The British government is fully aware of the Wahhabi school of thought.

Most probably, the number of potential terrorists in England is greater than it is in America, however in England there are no such incidents taking place because firstly, the British police is more intelligent and secondly, there is gun control.

I’m really puzzled when I hear the American politicians coming on CNN and Fox News and they say, ‘Gun control is not involved in this case. You cannot blame gun control.’

If you are a terrorist and you don’t have access to weapons, you can’t do anything. The type of weapon that Mateen used in this mass shooting was a military-style weapon, an assault rifle.

You only use such weapons in war. Only the military [should have] access to such weapons. If a common man has access to such delicate and sensitive weaponry, then you only blame yourself. The USA should take some serious steps on gun control.

Every now and then, there is a shooting in different states. In England, even the policemen do not carry a gun. When people do not have guns, when should the police have guns? There are a lot of questions that arise from this. For example, why should a common citizen need a weapon? What is the police for? If you want the weapon for your safety, then why do we have policing? This is the responsibility of the police. Nobody should have guns.

Then again, the people who live in America legally will decide whether they should or shouldn’t have guns. As non-Americans, we can only have talks. However, it is evident that if this man who killed 50 people in the Orlando nightclub did not have access to weapons, he wouldn’t have done that.

Regardless of whether or not the Wahhabi ideology was hammered into his brain, without weapons, he wouldn’t be able to do anything.

People need to go to the bottom of the truth. They think it is a problem within in Islam. No religion can allow anybody to kill. The human mind is very fragile; when the wrong interpretation of the religion is promoted, this mischief takes place.

Religions have problems now because religions are not being taught the right way. It is time for humanity to turn to spirituality.

We’re living in the end times. This terrorist movement is all about Antichrist. The way is being paved for the Antichrist. The hatred, bloodshed and carnage we see today is the result of hatred and the Antichrist movement.

Help for Mankind From the Extra-Celestial Realms

Why Hasn’t ISIS Been Defeated Yet?

What I’m saying is not my opinion. What I’m saying is what is happening. If you take a nosedive into the depth of this problem, you will say the same thing.

The most important thing is that it is not just some people armed and killing as a group — whether it is Al-Shahbab or Boko Haram in African countries, or ISIS/ISIL in Iraq and Syria. [Rather, it is a hateful philosophy and ideology, Wahhabism, which is followed by people from all over the world who help Islamist terrorists.]

If an army is at war with an enemy army, the most important strategy is to cut their supply of weapons. They blow up bridges so the supply is cut off, travel becomes impossible and no communication. This is how one defeats their enemy.

The world leaders are not utterly sincere when they claim that they want to curb terrorism and defeat ISIS. They have their own vested interests. If they speak against ISIS, it is because it is in their favour to speak against ISIS. When it is not in their interest, then they remain quiet.

Secondly, ISIS’s supply is smooth and running. People, on a regular basis, are joining them; they are pouring into Syria through various entry points. As long as their supply is smooth and running, you won’t be able to defeat them.

Turkey’s borders have been opened. Anyone who wanted to go to Syria and join ISIS would take a flight to Istanbul and travel to Syria through the eastern borders of Turkey. If the countries ISIS’s recruits travel through to enter Syria are truly combatting ISIS, then why do they let such people pour into Syria? A portion of Iraq and Syria is now occupied by ISIS, so they have access to oil wells and many different forms of wealth. Maybe the world leaders have some desire to make some money overnight. Turkey has been buying oil from [ISIS]; Russia has shown on television all the evidence but still, nothing happened.

Politics, fundamentally and principally is a form of servitude to humanity. But by definition, it is not what we see in practice. ISIS will live as long as the greedy and corrupt world politicians want them to live.

There has never been any terrorist attack on a building or house of a president or prime minister. Common people are being slaughtered. It is very unfortunate that the world leaders are not really interested [in curbing terrorism].

Hope for Humanity

However, I must tell you, in the light of my Lord Gohar Shahi’s teachings, that ISIS is a group of murderers, druggists, rapists and lustful animals. They affiliate themselves with the Antichrist. They will never prosper. The Messiah, the Mehdi, will defeat them.

With the help of Lord Jesus Christ, the Kingdom of God will be established on Earth. Peace, justice and love will prevail. Injustice will be totally wiped out from the face of the Earth. The Mehdi/Messiah/Kalki Avatar will fill every nook and cranny of the world with justice.

The clock is ticking. Every time the clock ticks, we are pushing ourselves towards the bright future of humanity.

ISIS will not thrive. They are aiming for a worldwide caliphate, which is nothing but a child’s dream. It is never going to happen.

This message that you hear today of love and peace is the potential message of the Messiah. Today, you hear it from us and it is not valued. It doesn’t garner your attention, stimulate your heart or invigorate your brain.

Perhaps tomorrow, when the entire theosophical system of the world is toppled up by mesmerising, hypnotising, charismatic, magical splendour of the Lord, the world will come to the feet of the Lord. The entire world will embrace the message of love and peace.

The armies of hatred like ISIS, Saudi Arabia, and Wahhabis are meant to diminish. They are meant to plunge into nothingness.

The most beautiful thing in this scenario is that the responsible force who will establish peace and love on Earth neither comes from God, prophets, nor human beings. It comes from a foreign realm and system.

In Iraq, there was Saddam Hussain, a tyrant. He was from the army and became a dictator. No politician was helping the Iraqi public, no army was able to help them and no political party was able to help them. Then came the United States of America, which toppled up the regime of Saddam Hussain.

In a similar way, this world has now become a battlefield in which the evil forces are everywhere and the divine forces didn’t show up. The last commander of the divine forces was Prophet Mohammad, who went back 1400 years ago. The battlefield is thickly occupied by evil forces.

Right now, the condition of the world is like a country in which there is no law, government, president or king.

It has literally become a fatherless, systemless, government-less country. It is not being monitored by God. Nobody is coming to rescue humanity; nobody is coming to get humanity out of the misery, the trouble and the most turbulent times humanity has been through.

This help which will come to rescue humanity is not coming from God. It is coming from extra-celestial realms.

New Video: Imam Mehdi Humshakal-e-Mustafa Hain | By Younus AlGohar

Younus AlGohar explains how Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi will resemble Prophet Mohammad in appearance.

Main points:

- Muslim cerics and scholars object as to why we hold His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi on a higher esteem than Prophet Mohammad, however, this is not possible. HDE Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi's body inhabits the terrestrial spirits of Prophet Mohammad, therefore, Prophet Mohammad is a part of HDE Gohar Shahi. It's impossible to compare the two personalities.

- Even the Koran said in regards to Prophet Mohammad that his following era will be greater than his previous era. Ignorant clercis say that this is referred to the migration from Mecca to Medina, thus the time in Medina is greater for Prophet Mohammad.

- What the Koran refers to as the first era is the era in which Prophet Mohammad arrived as a prophet and his second, greater era is in which half his souls entered the body of Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi. Therefore, those who have seen Prophet Mohammad will immediately recognise Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi.

- You cannot compare Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi and Prophet Mohammad. Prophet Mohammad loves Imam Mehdi so much so that they have become one. The proof is in front of your eyes in the Holy Black Stone; there are two heads attached to one body. One is Prophet Mohammad's and the other is Imam Mehdi Gohar Shahi's.
